The absolute worst service a pet place could have!
One employee stood around talking to a couple for over 20 minutes while I stood waiting for assistance. When I got help she helped someone else in the middle of helping me. The stress they put on the fish trying to catch them is ridiculous! Training should definitely be a monthly thing for this place!

My first time using the Vet services, from registration to making it very easy and somewhat affordable to have my pet vaccinated and health review was excellent service provided by vets volunteering there time. The following day I used their grooming services, again with very talented groomers, my new favorite is Belida! Very impressed with their hands on care!

This Petco store was very tidy and clean. Erika, helped me correct my Golden's leash and taught me how to put it on her correctly. 100/10!! thank you!

Terrible experience overall. Took 30 minutes to find an employee let alone the one I needed. When I finally found one she was grouchy and was annoyed cause it wasn't her department. Then made up a bs excuse onto why I couldn't buy a fish and immediately started gossiping to coworkers about me as I left. Pet supplies plus is closer and has much better service

After reading these reviews seems like my dissatisfaction has been mentioned many times by reviewers over the last 14 months and policy still doesn't change.
Spent $86 dollars afterwards I asked if I can use the restroom. The lady at the register(who was polite) said that the restrooms were not available to the public due to vandalism. I expressed that it was an emergency and it's highly unlikely I would spend $86 to just vandalize the restroom. I asked to speak to the manager whose name was Haley. I told her "hey I just spent $86 dollars can I use the restroom" she said "no" and walked away.... I immediately refunded my purchase.
I totally understand rules and policy but sometimes there's extenuating circumstances. But a 42 year old man that spent $86 and is there with his two children is a very unlikely candidate that would vandalize a restroom. Furthermore to be blown off by manager and the fact that the manager would sacrifice an $86 purchase just to prove a point for a 35 second restroom stop certainly is not a good business practice or customer service in my personal opinion. Taking into consideration there are pets that come in and have accidents on the floor and I can't use the restroom room does have me upset.
Nonetheless, this is just my opinion, but I will no longer be shopping at this location.

Went there tonight because your app stated my cats litter was in stock. Get there and nothing on the shelf. Ask the associate with glasses and an arm tattoo to help me because of what the app
Shows and show her the picture. She didn’t even LOOK or make any effort to. Says they don’t have it. I find an alternative that’s close. Pay for it and walking out and there ya have it! A bag of it in a cart for return! She said she knew it was there but “forgot”. Do better with customer service! As least make an effort! Then to ask me if I want to use my litter savings that I pay for monthly? Unbelievable!

3/1/25-2pm. Just witnessed a groomer being extremely rough with a small black and white dog. She was ripping through their face fur and grabbing their snout and squeezing. I get some dogs don’t like to be groomed but this dog was clearly scared and I’m sure what she was doing hurt. Imagine ripping through your hair with a comb…I would NEVER take my dog here after witnessing that.

The Wyomissing store is top notch! Misty always takes the time to meet our needs and help get us where we need to be!! All staff is helpful and friendly. Yesterday we added this little Robo to our family.

CORPORATE GREED! I am done shopping at your stores! I can't believe in this economy you want to charge for bags. Petco as a corporation makes millions and you want to charge your customers for a bag with purchase. As if you're not making enough profit on your products. I don't care that it was a dime. It's the principal. It's just pure GREED!
