Don’t bother calling the number. You’re not going to reach a receptionist or anyone that can field your questions/concerns.

I was just wondering if you needed volunteers', I'm 13 and have a lot of experience with animals and need volunteer work to be done so I can apply for The National Junior Honor Society at my school. Thanks -Laila

Came in to adopt a cat, two women at the counter were very rude and changed hours on me and refused service and had a very nasty tone.

NOT EVERY DOG IS FIT FOR EVERY HOME. But this place puts any dog in any kind of home even when it isn’t a good fit. They don’t want to use resources or spend a little more time finding the perfect home for these dogs. Then euthanize them when they are returned.

Very disappointing experience. Unkind staff, specifically Damon March. It is ILLEGAL to sell sick animals but apparently this facility has not only set the laws aside but also their morals and common decency. It is dirty, the animals are mistreated and neglected. Animal shelters are meant to protect and save not lock the animals away to die in horrible conditions.

BEWARE!!!!!! DO NOT RESCUE AN ANIMAL OR TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE FOR CARE!!!!!! The employees are absolutely miserable and could care less about you or the sick/dying animal you rescue or bring in for help. You would think this place is handing out toys from temu instead of living animals. I’ve never experienced such a lack of compassion for not only the poor SICK animals they’re trying to pawn off for adoption but also the treatment you receive when you come in for general check ups. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET THIS PLACE CLOSE!!!! The community would be better off without these scumbags killing dozens of animals a week

This facility hands out sick animals, tells you their vet is booked out 3 weeks… then they will continue to tell you that your animal should be seen immediately due to the urgency of the illness. THEN they say they will not compensate your vet bill because you “didn’t go through their vet.” Medical information was not told to us about the animal we purchased. The email stating the animal’s medical information is sent thereafter the purchase of the pet. Their supervisor Damen March is literally as useless as the “ueue” in queue. The best he could do was “be happy to refund my adoption fee.” Not only will he get you nowhere fast in resolving an issue… he is also arrogant, pompous, and has zero customer service skills. This facility has miles to go before they even reach mediocre.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SHELTER. They don’t take in animals unless they are PERFECTLY behaved. They don’t have anyone working with these dogs or helping them. They literally tell their staff not to take in dogs that growl when they first come in.. THE DOGS ARE TERRIFIED.. they are not aggressive. Any dog that barks at people in their kennel is euthanized. It’s disgusting!!!!
All they care about is money not helping dogs. Don’t let the brand new building and organized events fool you. They have more staff organizing events then they do actually caring for the dogs. NOBODY is even walking the dogs. The owners of this shelter are disgusting people and I hope they get there karma.

We’ve adopted many animals over the years here, and I have experiences with this place going back to when I was a kid. They are always helpful sweet and compassionate people, and seem fully competent at doing their jobs.
