GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, located in downtown Reading, PA, is a large and vibrant arts center housed in a historic former goggle factory. Covering 145,000 square feet, it offers a wide range of creative spaces and programs. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions in three galleries, watch performances at the Albert and Eunice Boscov theater, and explore the Berks Launchbox maker space. The center also features nine communal studios dedicated to hot glass, wood, printmaking, warm glass, metals, ceramics, photography, virtual reality, and urban gardens. With 35 on-site studio artists, GoggleWorks provides opportunities for artists and visitors to connect through workshops, classes, visiting artists, youth programs, camps, and community outreach. Many visitors appreciate the welcoming environment and the variety of activities available. People have taken pottery classes, enjoyed exhibitions, and participated in family-friendly events like Pumpkin Palooza, which offers crafts, music, food, and fun for all ages. The event features activities such as tote bag making, popcorn, s'mores, and apple cider, with some wishing for more food options suitable for children. The center’s history as a manufacturing site—originally producing optical lenses and safety goggles—adds a unique character to its transformation into an arts hub. Today, GoggleWorks attracts over 250,000 visitors annually and is recognized as one of the largest interactive art centers of its kind in the country. It continues to transform lives through the power of art and community engagement.
Had a great time at goggleworks. We went for pottery class. It's a great date night. There's plenty of parking in the back. Can't wait to go back to take a different class.

Check out this place! Multiple businesses inside. Multiple photo studios. Classes on woodworking in pottery. And I'm sure a ton of other entertaining businesses that I don't know about.
