I would highly recommend Beth's hair boutique. I recently found out that they offer peels so I decided to give it a try to see if it would help lighten up the dark pigmentations i have throughout my face. My peel was performed by Tina. Tina was very professional and gentle throughout the whole service. I had great results from having a peel service done. After just one peel being performed i already noticed a difference and my pigmentations have definitely lightened up. I truly feel the peel services are beneficial.I will definitely continue to get peels done by Tina at Beth's hair boutique.

I had my hair and makeup done at Beth's prior to my engagement photo shoot today. If I could give 100 stars, I would! What a wonderful team they've got here. My hair was done by Angela (possibly Andrea, I'm so sorry I'm terrible at names). She did a fantastic job and was so lovely to talk with and she made the time fly by. It was like chatting with someone I've known forever. I showed some pictures on Pinterest and gave her a general idea of what I wanted, and she truly knocked it out of the park. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a special occasion hair-style. Next I had my makeup done by Sam. She was fantastic! Sam took the time to get to know me and get an idea of the vibe I was going for. We chatted throughout the appointment which made the time fly by (I keep mentioning this because I normally hate sitting for hair/nails/makeup but the staff here really made the entire process so enjoyable!) I appreciated that Sam explained each step of the process in doing my makeup, and let me do mirror checks throughout so I could make changes if needed. I told both stylists that I trusted their vision and I am so glad that I did! I feel that my natural features were able to shine through and I looked like an "upgraded" version of myself as opposed to someone unrecognizable. If you are looking for hair and makeup services, Beth's is a great option with a well-maintained and clean salon, and a FANTASTIC staff!

I go to Beth's and Chris does my hair. The people here are awesome. They make you feel welcome and at home. Chris does an awesome job with my hair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON.

Sadly I cannot give this salon a good review. To start, being greeted with a smile or a friendly hello would've meant a lot to me. Not a smile anywhere. I was a little early for my appointment and was made to feel like I was an inconvenience. Coming from a family of hairdressers I know how it "should"feel to walk into a good salon. I feel bad because my stylist was so sweet and tried her hardest but unfortunately my haircut is mediocre at best, I now have to go to another salon and see if they can fix it. For the price I paid for just a haircut, I expected a lot better. I would have at the very least appreciated a nice relaxing shampoo but I didn't even get that. I believe this salon needs a lot more training and a much higher skill set to justify these prices unfortunately, I will not go back there.

When I came here the other day to get my hair done for a dance, I showed one of their hairstylists a picture of the hair that I wanted. she said that could work with my hair, but then she did what she wanted with my hair. This made my hair frizzy and messy. NEVER GO HERE! they will make your hair look terrible and you will not be happy.

I was really excited to give this salon a try. I called them and asked to make an appointment with a master stylist. I was asked what I was having done. I told the receptionist I wanted to get a trim (but I was thinking I may do a major cut and change). She asked me how long my hair was. I've never been asked that when making an appointment for a haircut, ever. For color and foils, yes, of course. I asked her why and she said because she needed to know - it was awkward. The inside is dark and gloomy, dated, and the mirrors are cheap and warped, that is one thing that is usually decent at any salon. The young girl who cut my hair was sweet and very nice, but the thought went out of my mind about changing styles...not sure how much experience she had. So glad that I did change my mind. For the prices they are charging (WOW, I just got a shampoo and trim - the shampoo took longer than the trim), I expected to at least have a decent trim, but instead it's uneven and I have to pay more money to go elsewhere and have it redone. Very disappointed and will not be back.

I had my first appointment at Beth's yesterday. I could not be more pleased! After having had the same stylist for 35 years, he and I both retired, and I moved to a new town. I was apprehensive about needing to find someone new. I procrastinated and my hair was in a sorry state. But all the people at Beth's were so friendly and helpful, I was at ease right away. Erin did an amazing job with my hair. She was very thorough and careful and got my quirky hair to look fantastic. I feel SO much better. I will definitely be coming to Beth's regularly from now on!

My review was taken down initially, however, I am so dissatisfied with the service I was provided I am here to add to it now that it has been a few weeks and I am still absolutely upset with the service. Not only that, I have not colored my hair or put heat on it (I prefer to allow it to air dry) because I am afraid the ends will fray and I miss my length that I was robbed of during this service. Already I need to go to another salon to have it fixed which will lead to it inevitably be cut AGAIN in order to make it look ok. Sad to say but my experience with Beth's Hair Boutique and Body Spa has to be by far my worst experience and left me very disappointed and with added cost. I do not like to write negatively about salons having use to work in one but that is why I have to. I went to this salon to get my hair trimmed. When I arrived I called to announce that I was outside waiting. The receptionist invited me in and told me to sit and the hairstylist will be with me shortly. Turns out my hair stylist was at the desk waiting and approached me after a few minutes. Not at any point did anyone offer me a water, beverage, or coffee, nothing. I didn't think anything of it until I saw another stylist do this for her customer. I also felt the environment was very uncomfortable because every time another stylist would walk by it was like I was invisible. I am a new client to the salon but believe this industry should hold customer service to a higher standard especially to those whom are new. I am not expecting any salon to roll out the red carpet but a little common courtesy and a friendly smile can go a long way. Much like the staff's customer service treatment, the salon itself was cold. I made it clear I wanted to keep my length especially because I mentioned I had a wedding that weekend and the bride was particular about the hairstyles. I had asked my hair stylist to please only trim it and keep my layers. I also made mention that in my blow out I wanted volume and curls, a wavy look, and expressed how much I love curls. To say the least, I left with much shorter straight hair AND BANGS i didnt ask for. When I say bangs I am talking so short that I cannot even put my hair behind my ears. The banter I had with Chris lasted longer than the effort she put into my hair. I thought about trying to get into another salon before the wedding but you can't "uncut" hair so I had to buy extensions for the wedding and to this day am still upset every time I try to put my hair up in a ponytail or look in the mirror because I am reminded of how much shorter my hair is. I have decided I am not going to be returning to this salon again nor would I recommend. Being over charged $50 for what was supposed to be only a trim is not worth the money nor is it worth the emotional stress. They also do not offer any incentives for new clients. After talking to someone who had been there before she asked if I recieved a new client goodie bag, which I did not. I am hoping this feedback will remind people of the importance on taking care of new customers who are looking for a forever salon. Angela Tiff S.

The best hair salon in Gloucester county. The staff and stylist are friendly and very professional. The stylist continue their education in current trends in cutting hair, coloring and other hair treatments. I went to this salon for as long as they have been open (around 25 years). Unfortunately I have moved to the southern part of Delaware and have NOT found any stylist as good as the stylist that did my hair ( Chris). I must also say Thank you to Scott as well as Chris for all those years coloring and cutting my hair and putting up with my pickiness. And thank you to Beth for hiring the best people to provide professionalism and talent.

I have wanted lashes for a while but wasn’t sure who I should go to. So I heard about Beths Beauty Bar through a mutual friend and she did not disappoint! She responded to my email within in an hour and booked my appointment. Her salon was beautiful and clean. Beth let me know step by step what she was doing and why she chose the lashes she did. I am obsessed with my lashes and have gotten so many compliments on how natural and gorgeous they are! Highly recommend Beth for her services.
