I love Cindy at Lancaster post office. It's location was impeccable centrally across from Lancaster police office....I highly recommended for them to have performing arts ....mantra

Received a package which was left out in the rain. The box came apart and the manufacturer packaging inside was also damaged as a result. In the past they have bagged some of the most irrelevant items because of inclement weather conditions. Not this time. Quality of service is severely lacking with the couriers nowadays.

For years now - The past 4 at least, I’ve had a very poor experience with the postal carriers at this office. I’ve had NUMEROUS packages destroyed by the carrier blatantly disregarding “do not bend” posted on the front of some, as well as receiving them wet and ripped. I have lost hundreds of dollars from this. After fighting this and getting a small amount back from the post office, it was decent for awhile. Now, I hardly ever received MY MAIL, or MY PACKAGES. My neighbors get more of my mail and packages than I do. I have to knock on everyone’s door to see who has what because I have the thing where you can see what’s coming in the mail on that day. This is absolutely disgusting. Its not hard to put the correct mail in the correct boxes or on the correct porches. My box and house has our numbers posted VERY CLEARLY. . . as do others. Some things that never arrived or Neighbors didn’t have - I never was able to recover - mail and packages and this has truly caused me SO MUCH STRESS AND HASSLE. I didn’t know they were allowed to be smoking cigarettes & delivering either - that must be new. Sometimes my stuff smells like nothing but smoke. Overall I’m disgusted with my experience. Not every single carrier is bad, but I’m speaking overall, over the last 4-5 years it’s been terrible IN GENERAL. I wish they’d get their acts together. There is no excuse when handling other peoples mail & packages. If you can’t deliver properly, find a new job. There’s no excuse I’m tired of hearing them as I’ve heard several….tampering with mail is a federal offense and I consider this tampering if you cannot place it in the correct place and just hand it off to strangers who more times than not never return it to the rightful owner.

First of all, I want to say that Our Carrier does a wonderful job.however the staff at Quarryville Post Office is TERRIBLE, I wanted to pickup a package at the postoffice Tuesday morning because it was already 2 days behind. and the excuse was they dont want to take mail away from the overworked carriers. He claimed if I came to pick it up I am taking pay away from the carrier, which is a joke because they are overworked already as our mail does not get delivered till after 4:00.I think it is Hightime we replace the USPS with a privatized company that could be much more effecient

I live in new Providence and our delivery driver continues to shove packages that don't fit in our mailbox in there. We have complained about it numerous times but I guess he is just to lazy to get out of his car if a package doesn't fit. I almost had to rip the mailbox apart to get my package out and the mail behind it was all crumpled in a ball.

This review is not for the Office location itself but our mail person who delivers. We have had to replace 2 mailboxes because packages too big for the box were being forced and crammed in the box. It kept working the mailbox off the post. We replaced the post and put a one piece mailbox in so the mailbox is no longer worked loose. Packages were being hung from the flag bending it out of shape. Packages are still being hung from the flag bending the flag out of shape once again. Then we get told to fix or replace. This is ridiculous, if the package does not fit in the box bring it to the house.
