This is a horrible company. I took over my grandfathers place. Went through everything and was told switching to our names I wouldn't owe his balance. then I started receiving a bill in my grandparents name I called to ask why, getting told "I agreed" to pay his balance. which was definitely not the case. I did pay it but the ridiculous nonsense never stops. Everytime you call you either get the answering machine or someone with attitude. they never cashed their automatic payments on time, sometimes it could be 2 weeks plus after the due date. they never return calls. and honestly it's just never ending. after having this bullcrap for 2 years I'm finally switching from this horrible company and I'm so relieved.

Absolutely wonderful! I ran out of propane the night before, called to make an emergency fill the next day at 11:30am. By the time I got home from work at 5pm tanks were filled. I called for assistance turning on my tanks and lighting the pilot and Paul called me from his house and walked me through it step by step. Thank you so much!!

Not very accommodating anymore. We have dealt with them for 3 years and have had good service and good prices but now there service has taken a bad turn. They have been out to service our fireplace twice now and it seams they don't know what there doing. Longer wait times even after they been there twice. Thats just not good enough. Very disappointed

their pricing is very good if not the best around. since they were bought out we've noticed longer lead times for delivery.we bought 2 refurbished 120lb tanks from them years ago for a very fair price.we had them price a relatively easy tank relocation & labor a year ago. it ended up taking over a month and multiple follow ups to what ended up being the price for to techs for 1 day.... no idea why that estimate couldn't have been done in 72hrs.reading all the negative reviews on here is not fair to the company. call sooner !

Terrible attitude from the lady who answers the phone and poor service. Use Blackhorse propane. Better pricing too.

I want to warn anyone thinking about using this company how disrespectful they aretotheir customers. If you use this company just be forewarned that you don't have a choice of how much propane you can afford to put in. They will fill your tanks every tone whether you can afford it or not. I am only on disability and can not afford for them to fill up my tanks every time. I ran out of propane and was able to get help paying my back balance plies liheap approved up to $600 to have them come out and fill my tanks. I was told they weren't going to deliver the emergency propane because they had no one in the area. So I had to do without heat all weekend because they refused to come out. I was told "it's not our fault you ran out of fuel because you had an unpaid back balance". I would never recommend this company to anyone! My husband and I have had nothing but trouble with them from day one! I therefore told them after this season I am having their tanks pulled out and I will go to another company. Jts a little hard when you are on disability and ha e mortgage and lot rent that take most of the money plus paying normal bills to have them always filling the tanks instead of only putting in what a person can afford. BUYERS BEWARE!! I'm can't see how they have any business if this is the way they treat people!

Terrible customer service over several years primarily from Deb. Mistakes in orders, billing and waiting over 3!weeks for a tank fill. We were advised they would come on a particular day and when I called the next day to see what happened I was advised that they came but didn't come up the driveway because it was snowing and the driveway wasn't clear. I had the impression that if I hadn't called , I never would've known what happened. By this time the gauge read less than 5% and I was told it'd be another 3 days till someone could get to the area. By then it would've been 4 weeks since the original call. One call to Kauffman gas and the tank was filled within an hour.

We have an RV and have to use one of their tanks. They don't charge you a fee to use their tank, and their prices are better than the other guy.

We were never told we would be waiting 10 business days to get propane on Jan 2nd when our tank was at 28%. We are now being told we will not get propane until Jan 19th, and I find that unacceptable. We have had the heat set at 50 and are using several forms of heat to get by. We will by out by the 19th. Upsetting and disappointed. I was told, get someone else. Thanks, its a little too late, but we will from now on.

We had to make a second call to the company. My wife and I were very impressed with technician who fixed the problem at no charge to us.

My new home was emitting a smell and I called to have a technician check for leaks. Technician stated there were no leaks and it was a sewage issue. When the plumber arrived, he proved there was a propane leak on the furnace. The technician was contacted and returned to fix the valve that was missed. I had asked for a discount because the original work missed the propane leak, which to my understanding, is a health concern. He stated "there will be no charge." This statement could be verified by the other person who was with me in the house, and heard him say this numerous times. When I called the billing department a week later, I spoke to the representative and explained the situation. While on hold, she spoke to the manager and stated that the technician was not allowed to make decisions on billing and apologized. I was told the fee would be waived. This would come back to be "not true", because this conversation was never recorded nor noted on my account. Two weeks later I received a bill for the same price. When I called the billing department, most likely the same person, answered and stated they had no record of waiving my bill. I briefly mentioned the situation again, but there was no record of the previous conversation. Hard to believe I would create an elaborate story twice, but I had the date and time I called. I was told I would be charged and needed to pay. The customer service rep asked me who I spoke to, as I did not know because a name was not introduced in the first place. Being that it a small business, I would assume it was the same person I spoke to on May 2nd. I called back and asked to speak to the technician. Since they were unable to provide his number, I used my call history and spoke to the technician directly. He stated that he originally said "the original bill stands, but the second trip out was covered" - much different from "everything is covered" that was stated on the day of the service.Very disappointed that I was charged for work that was faulty in the first place. While I appreciated the technician coming out to fix the mistake, there is poor communication and I question the practice of having no records with previous customers, especially when I can prove the date, time, and length of call on my end.No business should ever charge a customer for a mistake made that is potentially dangerous. I am grateful for Leon C. Landis and the plumber who was sent out and identified the propane leak. Had we not known about this leak, carbon monoxide could have continued to seep throughout the house.
