Sines has been a staple in Quakertown for over 100 years! It’s my go to for traditional Christmas decorations, cookie cutters, keys, candy and so much more! It’s also like a museum of Quakertown!

Sine's is a heartfelt treasure ~ from the moment you enter, the feelings of sentiment, nostalgia and history most definitely take hold. Shelving filled with antiques surround the store's upper walls, and the inventory here is about as varied as you could possibly imagine. A long, old fashioned soda counter with comfortable looking bar stools appeared inviting, complete with daily advertised ice cream and lunch specials. Hardware, toys, greeting cards, knick knacks, candy, Christmas/seasonal decor, paper goods. The model airplanes in the window, dangling from the ceiling are pretty amazing. Some of the empty display tables had me wishing there was a lot more inventory in the main section of Sine's...an adjoining room was more of a museum with a wonderful, interesting display of local history ~ pennants, newspaper articles, photographs, artifacts. It was disappointing to see the Christmas section of the shop dark and from appearances, closed on the day we visited. As long as you keep in mind that this is more of a 'look at and appreciate' sort of visit and less of a shopping experience, you will not be disappointed.

Part museum, part store. We spent a long time here looking at all of the memorabilia and vintage items. Really fun to pick out cookie cutters in almost every shape you can think of!

Read through the reviews before driving 1.5 hours to get here. Most notably the one star review complaining about the counter closing at 1:45pm and the small signs that customers wouldn’t read. The signs are 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper. The negative reviews made me want to visit this place even more. Overall the place is worth seeing because it is like you are going back in time. My wife found some candy that her grandmother used to always have. It was cool seeing model cars and planes. Don’t go here expecting the world. Go here if you want to see what small town stores used to be like. The milkshakes at the counter were great.

Hands down has always been my favorite place in Quakertown. It was nice stopping in after riding bikes around town with friends and stopping in for a float, or buying candy for a few cents because we found some cents on the street, to being good neighbors to Downtown Dogs. My dad owned dtown dogs, but I’d still find my way over to Sine’s often. For it to be ran by 2 guys, is impressive. I imagine business is not booming like crazy, but I hope it can manage to stay open for as long as possible. I think the brothers are doing a good job. It’s also a good place to buy halloween candy for cheap lol. We used to bring a bucket to fill up. When I joined the army, I was upset to come back and see army navy and the hobby shop gone. This place is the only place that’s left, I hope it can stay that way.

Sine's 5 & 10 store is a place full of nostalgia for me. I have had lunch there many times with my mom and recommend this blast from the past dining experience. The people who work there are always helpful, honest, and caring. I took my grand nephew there to show him all the models which he told me he wanted them all. This is one of the jewels of Quakertown!!!

Dirty tired run down don’t take credit cards. Drove 35 mins talking up soda fountains. Half the store was dark dusty and looked like the 70s last time refreshed. Waste of time was hoping for a family memory far far from

An unique place to visit. The displays on the wall shows you the history of this store. There is an old diner type of bar out front by the cashier and it was packed with the locals having their lunch during our visit. This place is kind of like a time capsule take you back in the old days!

This place is so special to Qtown that everyone that lives there should stop in once a week, at the very least once a month, and buy at least one item. My family used to take us there for sundaes like Banana Splits on occasion.I kinda remember balloons that were hanging above the counter and you could select one that contained the price for your sundae that day. They would pop the balloon and whatever price fell out was how much your bill was for each child. I have loved this little place since high school. :)
