We needed emergency services for our precious cat. We visited the clinic once last week then again two days later. The kindness and consideration we were shown was simply amazing. We can never thank the doctors, vet techs and staff enough for their concern and consideration for us and our precious baby.

After a somewhat trying encounter at our regular vet practice, we wanted a second opinion and traveled to Quakertown Veterinarian practice. There was only one vet at our regular practice. At Quakertown, from the start with Marge, who took my call and answered all of my questions to the end of the visit, EVERY staff member was compassionate, detailed and patient with us while we evaluated our options for our dear cat's health. Dr. Gina was amazing. We wanted to do what was best for our beloved pet. While the prognosis was the same as our old vet, the interpretation and explanation of the data and the compassionate interaction were incredibly different. We feel at peace with our decision and feel that we made a more informed choice because of Dr. Gina and her staff. We will be using Quakertown Vet going forward for all of our pet family members.

Me and my injured dog sat in the waiting room for three hours before we were called into an examining room. When the doctor came in, he was wearing a surgical mask so my dog started growling because he was scared. The doctor seemed visibly upset about this and angry And was very demeaning and dismissive to me and my dog. Telling me things like “the right thing to do is take x-rays but obviously he is too aggressive. “then the doctor asked me the question “what do you think should be done “then the doctor said somebody will be in shortly as we waited another hour in the examination room and then we just left. They still charged me for the emergency visit very poor professionalism.

I have had to take both my dogs there as emergency on 2 separate occasions recently. It started with Beverly at the front desk who was wonderful and compassionate as my dog was in so much pain with his leg. She quickly had someone take him back to put him on pain meds right away. She kept us updated on everything. Checked on us as we waited to hear about him. And was so happy to hear he would be ok. Then it was our other dog who was not breathing well and we unexpectedly had to put her down. The step by step tests and results from Dr. Tara Zentner was amazing. She was so compassionate. We were able to take our baby girl out to the gazebo in the fresh air to say our final goodbyes. The doctor and the two techs supporting her were just amazing. We are so appreciative about how sensitive they were to our feelings.

Best docs around for your pet. Open 24 hrs a day all year long. They are professional and compassionate.
Update 10/18/2024: I have been going here almost 25 years. I have had good outcomes and bad outcomes. I have had small bills and huge bills. Don't bad mouth this facility because they charge you a fee for their services. They have bills like you do. They have worked with me on payments and offer multiple discounts. Just talk to them about it. Their staff is compassionate, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I am paying for that knowledge and so are you. It costs money to own an animal. I didn't got to vet school so I go here - they did. I have had my 6 dogs, rabbits, birds, 3 cats, 1 deer and a flying squirrel here - even during Covid they only turned you away if you were abusive to staff or skipped out on a bill. Yup, people drop off their animals and never pay the bill or never pick them - they dump them. So when you complain about the fee for taking care of you beloved fur baby - it's part of owning a pet - and if you don't pay- it's called a finance charge or collections. I am grateful that there is a facility like this in our community. I highly recommend them. If you don't like what they have to say - pay your bill and go somewhere else.

As a new patient my dog was quite stressed but she was tenderly loved by the tech and the veterinarian. They listened to me and offered suggestions and guidance.
We definitely are returning when she’s due for another visit.

I came here with my sister to bring her sick dog in. Poor thing. The ladies at the front were huddled with their heads down watching a trump ralley on a phone laughing like hienas. How does anything get done around here? Luckily the wait was not so bad but if I waited hours hearing that I dont know what I wouldve done. The doctor and nurses were helpful and ran a bunch of tests. It is a shame because the scene at the front desk just kind of ruined things for us.

We have been going here for about 12 years. They have always been so kind to my fur babies. I believe Dr. Irwin is a cat whisperer. She is a fantastic vet. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend Quakertown Vets. We paid $150 for emergency care and waited in the waiting room for over two hours. Their regular appointments were seen quickly, but emergencies were when a vet had time to see us. Very disappointed. Especially because my dog did have an emergency situation. The staff didn’t seem to care that much either.
