Made an appointment online for a custom framing appointment. Received confirmations and reminders about the appointment via email. When I arrived at my appointment time I was told that the framer would not be in until the afternoon. I received a half apologetic, “ there is nothing we can do” from the manager. Just a warning to be wary of using the online platform to schedule- perhaps call the store to confirm.

They did a great job on my enlargements. But Aaron's has a lot to learn about billing, communication, and customer service. Didn't get any verification of my order. Had to wait 2 weeks plus until Michael's called and told me the order was in.

10/1/21 excellent employees! I really really was interested in this super cool Halloween Decoration andMichaels had it as "new" online- but the. It's not available to ship and barely available in any of their stores. Exasperating. I called the store and Cyril helped locate the item and told me he would hold it for me. Online it said they were in stock but due to the very far drive- I wanted to be 100% sure. Usually they'll hold an item til the end of business day but he told me they would hold it til end of business the following day. I was lucky because they had this white hand in stock and held it. When I arrived they were prepared and I paid for the item. Then I scored the other cool hand in black. Love!!

Last week, I brought into the Quakertown Michaels 2 large paintings with, but not in, frames assembly. One was so large that I had to have a friend take it from and to my house and Michaels. Being so large, I didn't feel that it was even safe for me to handle the glass. The large piece was further complicated by the painting which was on 2 large pieces of paper and had to be meshed inside the frame. Eric, a framer in Quakertown, handled my order and did a TERRIFIC job. I am SOOOO happy that I brought my stuff there!

Just moved back to the area and pleased to report that this Michaels is still great. In response to a previous review - Just FYI, as someone who has worked retail my whole life, when you have to go to lunch it doesn't matter how long the line is - you HAVE to go to lunch. If you DON'T go, you can mess up the entire schedule for every other worker. It's also state law that you MUST take a break after so many hours of work, so before you go writing a review about "how you feel bad about her co-workers" - know the rules of retail work. Regardless of previous reviews, the store is great. The staff is well versed in just about anything you would need to know concerning all types of crafting and if they don't know, they are willing to look things up to figure it out for you. The frame shop folks are super helpful whether you need a custom frame or one from the floor. There is also a gal in there that is pretty well versed in oil paints etc.

Shame on the cashier that abandoned her co-workers without even looking over her shoulder to"go to lunch", instead of sticking around to get the line of customers through. Shame on the manager standing there and letting her do that, while tying up the other register to do a return or some kind of issue with another customer. Has good work ethics become a thing of the past? I feel sorry for her co-workers/teammates.

STAY AWAY FROM THE "CUSTOM" FRAMING DEPARTMENT...framed a picture off center...forgot to put 2 clips in the frame to hold the picture in frame. Took back and they would not stand behind work....wanted more money to fix and tried to hide behind policies...Why did framer frame it off center and not check with customer before doing so...Manager usless. USE A PROFESSIONAL Bussines intead!
