Ever since Scott left the pharmacy has really gone down hill. He always did his best to make sure you got the best price for your prescription. Allison has been nothing but nasty almost every time I go in there. She is not very friendly or helpful. I ran out of my medicine (that can be purchased over the counter) it would have cost me about $50 to buy the medicine that way. She was very rude about it saying I should have requested it sooner and just buy the over the counter medicine if I really needed it. It isn't my fault the pharmacy did not order the medicine to have in stock. She could have offered a better solution. Like getting it somewhere else. I have now transferred all my pharmacy needs and my husband's to Small Town Pharmacy. They called and thanked me for transferring and asked if they could help with any questions or concerns I may have. Very friendly and helpful.

This is for the GIANT NEAR LOWES. I will never shop there again. I will drive further from my home in Quakertown so I won't have to deal with this horrible store. Of course you have to use the SELF check out. I don't mind doing that chore but the monitors/screens SUCK. They tell you to place items in the bag and you already did. The timing is off and it delays the entire process. There is NO ONE to help. The one person who could help was helping a customer at the CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER. Is that person doing double duty? Where is the STORE MANAGER? Why wasn't he or she around managing the check out lines if there are under staffed? Plus the monitors do not have all of the items in its memory bank. I bought fresh corn, you know the kind that grows on a stalk. The item was not found on the monitor. Only fresh corn pre wrapped was listed. I waited for someone to help me purchase my fresh corn ears, and after 5 or so minutes I gave up. With the time delay of placing the item in the bag and not having anyone manning the front of the store, I am going to shop at WEISS in Dublin or REDNERS in Pennsburg. I guess I could have just placed the ears of corn in my bag and not pay for them, but that would have been stealing. I am a moral person and would not do that. I feel if more people complained about a situation, maybe someone will address it and resolve the issue.

I think it's irresponsible of Giant to start serving alcohol drinks to go. I see people relapsing. For one my cousin in recovery has begun crossing a dangerous highway to sneak alcohol. and just yesterday a man ask if I could buy him a drink in Giant. I told him no and he smelled like alcohol. so other obvious reason are encouraging people to drink and drive. several of the employees said they were surprised Giant had decided to sell alcohol in cups with straws to go. do they not see the liability. is the profit worth the liability and harm it can cause humans.

Went to the Giant located at 901 S. West End Blvd. tonight. First let me start by saying this Giant has been going down hill for months! Tonight there was a very slim selection for water. Not sure why all of the shelves aren't stocked since we are no longer in the pandemic. I really went to the supermarket for a single rose, balloon, and bud vase. There weren't any bud vases sitting out so I asked the woman at the self check out to help me. She told me that they didn't have any bud vases. I told her I saw one on the counter. She spoke into her microphone and again I was told that there weren't any. I told her again I see one sitting on the counter. So frustrating!!! Are people really that lazy?? When I told her I was going to email corporate she tells me that she can't leave her station....Really???? You weren't at you station when I walked up and suddenly you can't leave it??????!!! Corporate really needs to have some customer service classes for these folks!

I’ve used this pharmacy for the past year and it’s been great. If my insurance doesn’t cover something their GoodRX prices are usually the most competitive. My family also uses it and prefer this location over the CVS’ and other pharmacies in Quakertown. Always in and out as well.

Allison is by far the rudest pharmacist at Giant In Quakertown. She gets annoyed if she has to look up your insurance and snaps back at you if you question her regarding coverage. She has zero people skills. Customer service is non existent.I really miss Scott. He did his job very well.

The old Pharmacist, Scott, was very Professional. As soon as he left and Allison took over everything went down the drain. This lady is very un-professional and instead of giving you the medicine your doctor prescribes you, she feels as if she is a third wheel and like you are doing something wrong and try's to get you in trouble for something that is none of her business. Anti-Addiction treatment medications are not illegal. I am speaking for a friend I used to take to the pharmacy and she had this issue all the time with her. Any other pharmacy NEVER gave her trouble including her new pharmacy.

Just go to Walmart. This is one of the worst managed grocery stores I've been in in my life. There is no one manning the counters, and there's no manager to complain to. The store is filthy, and nobody seems to be manning the ship. I will never go to the store again.

I am a man in my 60s from NJ and had never been to a GIANT Store but, boy, do I know now never to go into a GIANT store again! Here is my experience at the 901 S. West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA, Giant store: I was visiting the Quakertown PA area, an area I wasn't familiar with. I was looking for a Walmart (where I've faithfully shopped for decades) but not coming across one, and having bumped into this Giant store, decided to go in and see if they had fever medicine, which they did. While in the store, and not finding any employees by the aisles, I stopped by the pharmacy counter to ask about batteries for a baby thermometer, as mine had died. It was 3/18/20, about 1:40pm, and there were 3 women inside the pharmacy pod. The woman closest to the counter, the youngest of them, about 30, in a rude don't-bother-me-I-am-busy-now manner used her lips to point me into the general direction where the batteries were located. She never came to the counter, but instead replied from a position some 2-3' to the left of the counter. She wasn't busy with customers, wasn't on the phone, nor busy talking to the other 2 employees there, plus I said "Hi" when I arrived, so her don't-bother-me-I-am-busy-now attitude and lack of consideration came as a surprise to me. Anyway, I went to the 2 battery areas, but couldn't find the thermometer battery I needed, so I came back to the pharmacy counter to ask if there might be some other place in the store where batteries could be located, and the same younger woman, but in a much more aggressive and decisively nastier tone, said something like "that's probably all the store has". The other pharmacy tech there, a woman perhaps in her 60s, and clearly noticing the answer of the younger tech by the counter had been unsatisfactory to me, tried to help with some sort of response of her own, but I couldn't understand what she said because the younger woman started talking over her. Noticing the older woman's apparent willingness to help me, I then directed my attention to this older tech only and asked her if they perhaps had more batteries elsewhere or if they had thermometers that I could buy one instead. The younger woman (though it was totally clear to everyone my question this time was directed to the older woman only) interrupted us again and, seemingly mad that I wasn't paying any attention to her any longer, attempted to interfere with an even more aggressive voice. But, making eye contact strictly with the older woman only this time, I didn't acknowledge the younger woman's comments. Given the younger tech's second interruption, exacerbated by the older tech being further from the counter than the younger tech, I repeated to the older tech if perhaps they carried baby thermometers instead that I could buy one. This older tech started to respond but at this point - as she was still responding--, the 3rd woman there, the Pharmacist, (who had been standing next to the older tech all along working on something, and who had witnessed the entire sequence of events since I first approached them), staring at me, interrupted the older tech and, quite mad, said something about customer service. I couldn't quite understand what the Pharmacist was saying because, for a short moment, it seemed that the three of us (the older tech, myself, and the Pharmacist) were all talking. I asked the Pharmacist if she could repeat what she said, and increasingly madder, she yelled at me that if I needed help to go customer service to ask them there. I said fine, thanks, and left. Needless to say, in my way to customer service, I was fuming. I felt I had been violated. As I headed to customer service, I passed the store's self-checkout area, but decided I had had enough nasty treatment already at the pharmacy, started to sense the people in customer service were probably no better educated than those 3 at the pharmacy and, before reaching CS, turned around to return to the self-checkout area. I paid for t

It's not Wegman's but this is definitely my 2nd favorite supermarket. It provides 5 star service for all of the basics you expect from a market. They have top notch customer service. The staff here is always available to help you out and they have a pleasant disposition when doing it. That combined with good discounts if you have the Giant card will save you money. The bonus with the Giant rewards card is that you can use it to pay for gasoline at reduced prices. Its based on how much you spent at the market during the month. Just imagine getting 90 cent off every gallon of gas you buy. That's priceless! I haven't had any bad seafood since shopping here and my wife loves the crab selection. The selection of vegetarian products is pretty large. That's a bonus for me. There is never long lines even on holiday weekends. They make sure the lines are staffed well. This is the ultimate neighborhood supermarket. . Ame sure you stop by if you are in the area.
