“Always a great experience, every employee has been helpful. Out of the 100s of times I’ve been here never had a bad experience. I come here often to remodel my home and have been to each department”
“This is one of my favorite stores in the city. Anytime I have a question about a project, I’ve always found a staff member who can point me in the right direction with good advice on which products to use.”
8AM - 6:30PM
5555 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia“This hardware store hast the best customer service, I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been coming here for the past six years, and each time I need help, someone takes care of my questions, or even print the reference of the item I’m looking for, in case they don’t have it, so I get the right one.”
“Wow! I am amazed by the excellent customer service I received at this store. The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me in finding the screws I needed for my car. This is definitely the place you want to go to. They were willing to help, unlike the place I went to the day before. I see why the store is called Do It Best because they did just that and more.”
7:30AM - 8PM
5400 Pennell Rd, Media“Very knowledgeable and organized. The majority of employees seem to know everything about all of their products or know exactly where to find your answers. You’re going to pay a bit more, but absolutely worth it.”
“This is one of my favorite stores of all time so on a personal note I'm in a good mood when I walk in here to begin with. Think of Harbor Freight as the "affordable alternative" to that Depot chain some are familiar with. The deals that they have at this store never cease to amaze me and I find that I rarely can walk out of the store without purchasing something that I may or may not even need because I just don't have it. Can you get things here that you can get at other stores? Absolutely. Are you going to be these prices? A snowball's chance in hell is greater than you finding a better deal somewhere else. This, you can take to the BANK, and considering all the savings, you actually WILL!”
“I’ve been going here since the mid 90’s and not a single thing has changed. Their customer service is over the top. Most times they jump right on the job and finish while you wait. I highly recommend Delri!”
“So, I don't know if you've ever been to a true value... But it is far from what I would call a big box hardware store. That is one of the things I actually like about the place. It feels like a mom and pop hardware store. I don't know if it's a franchise, but it certainly feels like a small business and I like to frequent places like that. I will also say the staff is very helpful and friendly... And they knew where the most obscure items were located without thinkin twice. I was super impressed. This is my new go to for a hardware needs”
“I could not be happier then being a Customer of Burhill Hardware ! Chuck and his crew are ......simply fantastic ! Very knowledgeable , warmand friendly ! My only regret in post is It won'tallow me to add 5 more stars ! Now you go check out Burhill Hardware !Sincerely ;Greg Eisenhuth( Captain America. )”
7:30AM - 4:30PM
521 Lancaster Ave, Wayne“This place is great. I admit I often go to Home Depot for plumbing parts because it's closer, but when they don't have what I need, or what they do have is junk, I go to Grove Supply. I'm always surprised that the price is about the same. The parts are always better, and you can often get some advice while you're there. Grove even delivers for a very reasonable price. I wish it was closer to Media, PA.”
8:30AM - 5:30PM
39 W Broad St, Paulsboro“Not a better place for your hardware needs... Not to mention... Paint... & a million other items... A miniature Home Depot / Lowes but with professional help in all departments ! !”
7:30AM - 5PM
5000 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia“I was able to get extra keys made and find a screen fir my kitchen window. They do screen repairs and have a lot of items for pest control as well as home improvement.”
“Great place. Very friendly staff, someone greeted me right away, & I found what I needed and then some. It sits in the back of the mall which took me a few to figure out. There should be more signage in the front for that.”
“Hills hardware is more than a hardware store. Leno and Heather create a universal atmosphere. No matter if your a carpenter with 40years experience or a person looking to hang some picture frames in your home. They are quick with the necessary supplies and a helpful tip if you need it; to get the job done proper. You need something not in the store they can get it in on the next shipment. I stop here before anywhere to get my supplies. Feels like home. Most certainly go check them out.”
“Oh this place has anything you need for your home repairs .. decor.. plus more. It has been a staple in my neighborhood for years.. if you're every looking for something hard to find just give Ritner hardware a call.. they rarely disappoint..”
“To start- I live in west philly. I drive to this hardware store because they are so sweet and accommodating every time I go. They try to speak to people who only speak Spanish in Spanish. Just all around great hardware store that reminds me of the right small town feel. I order my HVAC filters here, I get my plumbing supplies here. Support small hardware stores!!!!!”
“If you want great service, nice employees, the chance to visit a store that has just about any hardware item you may need, this is your place. The owner, Charlie is a solid guy. Will go out of his way to help you find what your looking for.I've purchased my lawn mower, weed whacker, string, had lamps rewired, screens repaired, and many small items purchased at Swarthmore Hardware. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.”
“Great local hardware store, with a good selection of paint colors to choose from. I stopped by just for paint, and the employee who helped me was very nice. I appreciated not being overly talked to, and he was quick with getting my paint all mixed together. It's nice to have a store in the neighborhood that's easy to walk to.”
6:30AM - 4:30PM
2800 Grays Ferry Ave, Philadelphia“Depends on who you get behind the counter, some of the guys are super helpful and know what they're doing. Other guys don't care about their job and it shows.”
“If you are someone like me, you are constantly doing little diy projects around your house and don't need tons of materials. Sometimes the Lowe's and Home Depot's can get extremely overwhelming and often times hard to find help from an employee. I have recently stopped going to Lowe's in Havertown and solely go to DMI on haverford rd! They have anything I could possibly need for the projects around my house. Lumber, paint, hardware, screws and nails, tools, gardening supplies, rental equipment for those larger projects, you name it! They also do chair and table rentals if you are throwing a party and need some extras! It really does feel like a family when you walk in there. There are numerous employees walking around, constantly asking how they can assist and make your experience at DMI better than it already is. From large to small, DMI has all that you could possibly need at a great price. Give it a try next time, I'm sure you will be back!”
“I'm glad they still got hardware stores in the community its a lot for me to go to lowe or the home Depot.. you get personal professional attention. Owners are very kind. I always find what I need. I've been going there for the past 10 years.”

504 N 63rd St, Philadelphia“The place was organized the store was well lit the staff was fast n helpful. They had what i needed and knew how to locate the item swiftly. The prices where ok. The parking seem to be my only problem. I had to park in a bus only zone and run in and out wich with the stores help I was in and out but there's no parking only on the side streets wich are always packed. All in all the experience here was ok no hassles waits or worries.”
8:30AM - 5PM
1822 S 11th St, Philadelphia“Great little local hardware store for handy work around the house or very small projects. Good prices but not where you want to go if it’s a big job or if you aren’t quite sure what you need.”
“I’m spoiled by the convenience and great personal service provided by Steve at Jacob Low Hardware. Just this week I popped in twice and quickly got exactly what I needed to complete my little projects. This local business is a real gem!”
“Carries everything we need for pet care including several specialty foods that are not readily available at big box stores. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything is priced really well, particularly many brands of high-quality dog food (Orijen, Fromm, Stella & Chewy’s, among others).”
“Was a little nervous heading into Delaware County Supply as a female DIYer and not a contractor. No employees approached me in the store or the yard but I headed to the customer service counter and was pointed in the right direction. One of the lumber yard employees helped me find and price options for my project. Everyone was kind and helpful. I’ve been back a couple times to pick up additional supplies and the staff has even remembered me and asked how everything going. It’s great to have this store as an option other than just the big box stores!”
8:30AM - 5:30PM
4502 Walnut St, Philadelphia“I’ve been stopping by this hardware store for 12 years now, usually in a pinch to get a part on the fly while making a repair. Very helpful staff that can guide you in the right direction. A large collection of items to make a a quick repair or Macgyver something along in these old West Philadelphia row homes. They are quick and good at making keys, have a selection of locks for narrow doors and other hardware specific to the Philly area. Today’s visit was for a plumbing repair. They explained the options and even offered to let me try out a part and return it if it did not work out for my repair. These neighborhood hardware stores are always handy when in a pinch and you’d rather get the job done vs spending hours hunting around a massive box store.”
“Great place to go for supplies ! I find most items I am looking for when shopping here ! Large warehouse selections in almost any home care items needed ! Close to Acme ,another great place to shop at !”
