Car Rental in Pottsville, PA

“Purchased a car from there 2 days ago.
When I went to test drive it, we had to jump start it. They did put a battery in right after me purchasing the car. They also fixed the switch on the driver side window.
We did notice that Monday when we went in there were new signs put on the wall about how they don’t cover check engine or tire pressure lights. By my not so surprise the car I was there to look at had both lights on. Though they did their best to make that right.

All in all the cars running alright.
The only thing I can say to be careful of is being on the same page with the person selling you the car, and make sure you read all the paperwork in detail prior to signing.
When I asked how long the payments were she informed me it was for 3 years after confirming with a co worker. When I figured the numbers out, maybe I had calculated something wrong, I figured $9,000 for the car. Which she didn’t correct and tell me the total price of the car. She just let me believe I was getting the car for $9,000. Not including the down payment. After taking ownership of the car, I then slowly read my paperwork over and realized it stated the total cost of the car would be almost $18,000. While the value on the car will be around $1,800 when I pay it off. Will end up needing about $3,500 worth of work. That’s not including regular maintenance.
They do offer free oil changes for the term of your agreement. They also do work their best to get you into something.
I’m grateful for everyone there, just would’ve been nice if she would’ve clarified the total cost of the car when she was letting me know the down payment/ bi weekly payment amounts.
All in all I’m neither completely satisfied nor dissatisfied with my purchase.
Only time will tell how the car runs.”
