I arrived for my 10AM appointment at 10, and they were super busy, which no big deal. They did my pedicure first, and I ended up sitting in the pedicure chair with my feet soaking in plain water for over 30 minutes before they got to me. The woman who did my pedicure buffed my one cuticle to the point of bleeding (needed to put cotton on it) and then kept spraying it with rubbing alcohol. During my pedicure, a woman came up to me and asked if anyone could do my manicure, despite me scheduling with Hannah. I have other errands to run today, which is why I scheduled with Hannah at 10, so I just said sure. Hannah did NOT do my nails, and the woman who did did not follow the picture I showed her. I really try to avoid bad reviews unless I truly believe it’s necessary, and I am so disappointed by my trip today. It’s been really hit or miss recently

Moved to the area 6 years ago and finally found my new nail salon that I can always count on! All of the nail techs are very talented but Hannah and Julia are my personal favorites! They are clean, easy to schedule with, and are always up on the “nail trends” / getting new colors! I also love that you don’t feel pressured at all. They want you to leave happy with what you asked for!

My favorite nail salon! I come here every 2 weeks or so to get a refill and a pedicure, they always do so good, but it seems like the prices are constantly being drastically raised, I get a gel refill on my acrylic nails and sometimes I do designs but every tiny design is another upcharge, and the price already starts at 50. They haven't done me wrong besides a few little nail nicks and scratches from newer employees who I haven't had before but I have been coming here for over 4 years now and it would be nice to get a discount or at least something every now and then, for courtesy and being a repeat customer for years, and then especially with how much I go there. But nonetheless, I recommend Vp to anyone who is looking for an efficient, clean, friendly salon:)

I have been going to VPNails for the last12 years and to be completely honest I’ve only been disappointed one time in all those years. Hanna and Michael and staff are remarkable.

I came over to VP nails for my sister’s birthday. Although the service was okay, my issue was more around just my nails(a full set).My nail tech recommended almond shape, so I had high hopes that there would be no issues.. Once the nail process started, it wasn’t the routine i was used to any other time getting my nails done. (no hand washing in between, or cuticle removal.. etc.) I still had hope from it being a new/different salon, but after my color was put on and i saw multiple cuts going around my nails, i definitely was not satisfied for spending over $50 on plain blue nails. Just my experience and expectations were not matched.

Sophia is hands down the best service provider when it comes to pedicures. As the price of everything rises I have no issue paying for it as long as you get Quality services! She gives the full massage “promised” with your pedicure and honestly normally even more. She goes above and beyond everytime it is so worth every penny with her quality. My husband is even addicted to pedicures now and tells all of his friends to go to her! I’ve never ever left unhappy while in her chair!

I honestly had high hopes for this place from the pictures and reviews but I will not be returning! I am highly disappointed in my nails the lady rushed I didn’t get what I wanted and they look terrible she dripped nail polish on my fingers 3 times I can understand once but maybe if she wasn’t rushing she wouldn’t have to clean it off my fingers. I go to pay and the price was absolutely ridiculous for what I got I tried to leave tip on card because I had no cash and they told me they don’t do tip on card to use the atm I used the atm and it wouldn’t let me get the amount out the lady said “what is the problem” rude and very unprofessional they then said they only do 20 dollars no way I am leaving 20 dollars for a gel manicure that was about 20-30 mins and rushed I will not be returning!
Update: they were very understanding and I came in and they did a new set for me, this nail tech took the time and my nails look great this time I will be returning glad I gave them another chance!

Absolute worst nail salon I have ever been too! I asked for ballerina shaped nails and received square! The woman Hanna was so focused on everything else but my nails I had to argue to fix my nail she over filed making it look crooked! Asked for French and I’m sure my 4 yr old could have made them look nicer!

I love VP, I hardly ever wait to get my nails started. If so no longer than 5 minutes. My nails always hold up the full time and even the extra week if my schedule gets too crazy to get in after 2. They are friendly and very clean as well. My eyebrow girl here is better than any of the salons I’ve ever been to anywhere else in town. Definitely worth checking out if your looking for a new nail

I went in today. The lady at seat 12 was horrible. She rushed to get on her phone clearly. She cut all my fingers up, my nails look horrible. They are fat square. She barely filed. Was excited because everytime I’ve gone they looked good but this time was so bad. Sucks I’m about to go to vacation and feel like I wasted 60 on something that looks so trashy.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have been going to VP for a couple years and I don't know what changed but management is EXTREMELY RUDE! I went for an appt and it wasn't on their books even though I specifically made a appt - they ended up turning it around like it was my fault! Hannah (owner) is one of the rudest people I have met, I don't know what has gotten into her head. I swear they are a bit racist as another woman was taken before me and she didn't even have a appt (caucasian woman), keep in mind that happened twice now. My friend recently went there to get her nail fixed and was rejected which is mind-blowing. New techs every other day that have a attitude and wont even look you in the face & the prices are OUTRAGEOUS! Do not go here!

I had mixed experiences at VP Nails in Pottstown. I initially went in to get artificial nail extensions with acrylic dip powder on top for my birthday and had a decent experience. My nail technician (Anthuan) was fun, friendly, and did a fantastic job. The pricetag seemed a little steep to me, but they gave me a coupon to use for money off, which helped somewhat. I'd only had my nails done once before this, so I chalked it up to inexperience on my part.
However, my positive first impression quickly soured once I went in for refills. Again, my nail tech (Tammy) did a great job, she was super sweet and really took the time to make sure my nails looked the way I wanted. That said, I noticed the price kept increasing throughout the service, even though I asked several times if everything was included.
Once I got upfront to pay at the register, the final price owed was outrageous—$70! Yes, you read that right, $70 for REFILLS! That's more than I spent for my first visit! To add insult to injury, the salon pressured me to add a 20% tip on this inflated total and insisted I tip with cash, not credit, which felt unfair. I only had $9 cash in my wallet, so I gave them all of it and left the salon feeling uneasy.
On top of the pricing concerns, the overall customer service left much to be desired. The owner was pushy and constantly tried to pressure me into getting additional services I wasn't interested in. I noticed she did this to other customers too, then she would get annoyed and walk away abruptly when people said no, which seemed very rude to me.
Thankfully, I've found a different salon nearby that offers the same level of quality for half the price. I will definitely be taking my business there from now on.

We were taken here for Mother's Day my daughter made an appointment and we still waited an hour. We were over charged and we're shamed when asked about it for myself and my granddaughter who's 9 my daughter was charged 100+ My granddaughter's technician was rough and rude (unbelievable) no fun there. Never again.
