This place is horrible. They are rude, literally call you enough times to file harassment, they threaten you in emails I was threatened with theft by Cathy and even though I bite my tongue now, she was rude as hell on Saturday to me and I’m making sure something is done about it! I called corporate to complain about this store and they said the district manager would call all for me to never get a call. Unfortunately I moved out of a place and my landlord disposed of the furniture before letting me Come back to get it and I am now making payments on something I have no possession of which I totally understand, my fault. But the professionalism of the store is horrible and the management is rude and careless. I’d love to see if any of the workers in that store would like the treatment they so freely give to others like they are the police. I will be calling RAC again and putting in another complaint after how rude their manager was to me on Saturday.

I got my order on a Friday and did not care for it and was unable to return it so I got stuck with some thing that I absolutely do not like and I’m only halfway through the payments

Harassment is rampid at this store. They called my job twice. The first tine i told them never to call my job i will get to them when im available. They called my job again and left a message with a sales rep at my job. I do not and have not given consent for rent a center to contact any third party for any reason pertaining to my account. It is unlawful to call more than. 7 times in a 7day period as per federal board of consumers. Rent a center was informed if a payment us missed the full double payment will be made by the next scheduled payment. I have spoken to a male at this store and told him about my payments and Nothing has changed. Again I do not consent to calls between 8:30am and 7:00 pm any day I do not consent to any calls to any third party. If a payment is missed it will be paid by the end of the month. Rent a center is not above the law and no employee is legally allowed to harass or threaten any customer in anyway. I have been threatened with grand theft by Cathy at the Pottstown store. The constant harassment is uncalled for as well as unlawful.

This is not my first time going. When money is funny and you need something this is the go to. Pay them off with in the cash item so then it's not a long drawn out process. Many people u see complain however don't be late or put them off and u have no problems. Simple. Talk to them and work something out.

I was in the market for an additional bed and went in just because I was not looking to get into some 3/6 year agreement with other furniture companies around town, anyhow they had nothing on the sales floor when it came to beds. They showed me online options which was fine then the girl said that she was gonna call another store and see what they had available so she calls me back they make me pay as soon as possible which was fine but it comes to my house and the bed was not what I had seen online nor what I expected at all the platform they gave me looked like a college dorm campus bed. No lie. Not anything I would pay $40 a week for. I didn’t even have the bed 24 hours and I had them pick it right back up. They definitely had an attitude on the phone about it but I’m not being stuck with anything I’m unhappy with nor paying $40 a week for it. So now they have $30 worth of my money for no reason. I’ll just be buying something outright that I can at least see in person first never again!

This place is terrible. I rented a Samsung phone and am 3 weeks behind, but the company deemed it appropriate to randomly lock my phone. When calling the store, I told them I had an issue with my job, but am working again. I told them I work for doorsash and literally can't generate any income unless I have a phone. I was told I have to bring my account out of the negative in order to have my phone unlocked, and they'll send out a van to pick up my phone if I can't make it to the store to return it. They also told me they'll report the phone stolen if I don't return it.This is absolutely ridiculous. I want to keep paying for this phone and have the ability to do so, but only if they unlock the phone so I can work... I'm contacting corporate, then the better business bureau. I'm not letting this situation go. This is unethical.

The worst company I have ever done business with. I’m current sick with Covid-19 and have been unable to do much of anything let alone make a payment. As a result, I missed 2 payments. Received no notification until the following week after thanksgiving. Then I received 5 back to back calls on Monday, 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday before receiving a notice on my door by Thursday saying to return the rented material all while having no way of really communicating because my voice was raspy and I could barely speak. Finally on Friday (today) my throat clears up and I have some type of energy to make things happen so I make the payment and call them to say I will be returning their gear the second I am able to purchase a new washer and dryer. I can not deal with the stress and anxiety this place brings on its customers after only missing a payment or 2. Granted I am aware of my contractual obligation that does not mean I need this type of stress in my life.

caring for their customers help thier customers as they can instead of harassing them when their bill is due. stop giving out their customers information to people that call them and asked questions about their customers
