We needed a new dishwasher and after shopping around we decided that the best deal was for a GE Profile dishwasher from Lowe's. The unit was on sale with free installation which expired 7 days later (you paid for installation and received a rebate in the form of a Lowe's gift card). In order to get the free install they had to do an assessment ($35) which was refunded if the assessment was okay. I informed the salesman that we would be on vacation and that the free install date might be past. He assured us that since we paid in advance the free install would be honored. We agreed, paid for the dishwasher and set up a date for an assessment. 3 days later the assessment was done and all was good, the assessor told us he would give the results to Lowe's and we would hear back from them for an install date. Ten days later we got a call from Lowe's saying our price was finalized and we could schedule install. Except that the final price included installation (no free install). I went to the store to figure out the problem with free install and to schedule an installation date. After waiting in the appliance department for over 30 minutes, during which no employee came into the department (despite pushing the help button numerous time). Finally the department manager came over (he was the only employee available) and after he couldn't find the unit we paid for - it had been sold to someone else. I was upset since I had been told all was ready for install and left so that I could come back and talk to the salesman that sold us the unit. I called the next day and talked to the salesman to insure he would be available (he was). Shortly afterward he called and told me they found the unit and quoted me a price which again included an installation price. I reminded him of the deal he told us about three weeks earlier and he paused, told me he would have to talk to his boss and would call me back. No call. I waited two days. At that point I decided to cancel and ask for my money back. I went back into the store and asked for a refund. The store manager asked me if the assessment was completed, I said yes, and he said, "We don't refund if the assessment has been completed." At that point I was livid, explained all that happened and told him point blank that if he did not refund ALL the money I would call my credit card company and challenge the sale since I did not have the dishwasher (Lowe's still had it). Suffice to say after almost thirty minutes of "We can't find the invoice and the system says it was delivered" I finally received a full refund. I WILL NEVER BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM LOWE'S AGAIN. I encourage you to do the same.

I placed an order for a dishwasher on Feb 28. It was to be delivered Apr 1. It is May 24 and no one has contacted me. I called the Pottstown store and after 10 rings someone picked up. Very rude female who put me ion hold for 25 minutes. I will be cancelling my card with Lowes and seriously recommend any other store than this one! PATHETIC SERVICE!

Picked up flooring and was helped by Dale and Sheldon. Very careful and took time to load properly. Great job guys!

Wish I could give a zero star. Horrible customer service. The managers name is Ed and he's pretty much the worst there. Treated me like garbage when asked a question. I'll shop Home Depot from now on.

This the closest Lowes to my house and it's typically a last resort to shop at. I'd prefer to drive to oaks or downingtown. The staff are just not friendly, which is really a turn off. I can literally walk past an associate and it's like I don't exist. I purchased a shelving unit online, when it was brought up to the front, the box looked to be opened and not the quality you'd expect. Not one apology and I had to get a manager involved because they wouldn't get one down from the top rack. I did buy an appliance from the store and the two appliance guys were awesome, but really busy. Not overall a bad store, but there are other options too

Was only in here for a brief moment as I knew what I needed and was on a mission, however I had a good experience. The store was clean and organized. I didn't have any interactions with employees, but saw them interacting with other customers and it seemed to be going well. I used the self checkout and the process was painless.

Our dishwasher died on June 19, 2022. We researched and bought an Amana on-line from Lowe's, including delivery, installation and take away for an additional $225. Mon. June 27, the new unit arrives, can't be installed, missing the drain hose, installers return it to Lowe's Pottstown. Tues. June 28 I call the store to find out what's up, customer service only knows it went out, not came back. Got transferred to K.C., then Chris, then manager Mike, all telling me there was nothing wrong with the unit and how many installs they had done. Mike sends, and I pay for, an extension hose out with the unit on Thurs June 30. It's not even close. We keep the unit and send the installer away. Meanwhile, Nixon Home Services, the installer, is trying to get Lowe's Pottstown to fix the issue, now dealing with Appliance Manager Jay. Friday, July 8, I call the store again and get Manager Jay on the phone, who proceeds to tell me "I don't know what you're talking about". I ask to speak with his boss and spend 26 minutes on hold. I research the missing hose, get a part # and order it off E-Bay, arrives on Tues July 12, unit installed Thurs July 14. Wed July 20, tried to get some of my money back, manager Mike was his usual self and I left, I don't waste my time and energy arguing with the willfully ignorant. Their loss, with a remodel of the kitchen and bathroom and new flooring thru out coming up, we'll be heading to the Depot. If management doesn't care, why should the rank and file? They aren't familiar with the phrase, "A customer isn't an interruption of your work, they're the reason for your work." Good Bye Lowe's.

I ordered a washer that came damaged. They installed it anyway and didn't inform me. It leaked and caused water damage. After two weeks of countless calls and emails, they were supposed to dispatch repairmen and never did. After they refused to replace or repair the unit, I ultimately resolved my claim with corporate, who apparently were actually trained in customer service.
