Imagine that you drive all the way to Pottstown to thrift, send an hour digging through countless racks just a find the perfect article of clothing that you have been looking for, taking your item up to the front to check out, waiting in line for 15 minutes, just to be told that just because the item of clothing doesn’t have a tag on it you are no longer able to purchase it, and the cashier takes it away from you and tells you that they are going to put it in a truck to send it back to a distribution center to be tagged and then most likely to be sent back to another location. Liberty thrift has literally lost sight of their true ministry of helping low income families find items at a reasonable cost… So items are no longer at a reasonable price and even when you try to buy them, they will not allow you to. Absolute trash.

Prices were higher than you could buy new. They’re selling half used candles for $8+

The staff here is always so friendly and helpful. I find great clothing, house decor and kitchen items here. All in all for the price they ask their rewards program offsets the pricing increase. Still great pricing and watch their weekly specials! I find a-lot of brand names with the tags on them saving over 75% off brand pricing sometimes. The lady with blond short hair and glasses at check out is awesome and so is the young man with glasses. Very patient and helpful!

I frequent a lot of the Liberty Ministries thirft stores in the area and this one by far has the most inflated prices I’ve ever seen. I could potentially understand if this store was in a wealthy area, but it’s NOT. The electronics are priced like they are almost brand new. I looked at a Kirby vacuum cleaner they had, and it’s priced at $299.99 it’s a thirft store……not eBay or FB marketplace. The mainline thift stores don’t even price gouge you that bad.Whoever is pricing a large portion of your inventory needs a sit down meeting.

We had a nice time shopping here. It was 99 cent pants day and we found what we were looking for plus more? (like a Barbie airplane and some other toys). Thanks!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! This store located on Charlotte St in Pottstown is wasting our tax dollars!. Locals caring people are feeding, spaying and neutering, vaccinating and releasing cats who have made their home there. This store complained to the owner of the property who now has the police harassing these kind people while there are deadly shootings in our area but the police are busy patrolling cats instead of keeping citizens safe because your store complained about cats that are hundreds of yards away from the store. NOT VERY CHRISTIAN THING!

This store is amazing. The clothes are very nice. Coming here also can relieve stress. You find items at such a great coast. I feel like a kid again when I enter this store. It is definitely my go to store.

Make sure you check prices online to compare before you leave the store. I’ve bought some recent items that I’ve found new in store or online for 50% less. I’ve frequented this store since I’ve moved to the area 4 years ago and in the last few months it’s really declined when it comes to pricing, product and customer service. Today, as I checked out, the cashier couldn’t be bother to even engage with me and was more concerned with taking with the other cashier. I’m probably going to start taking my business elsewhere if it remains this way.

The store was nice and had lots of great items but if I would have known it supports prisoners of Eagleville mont county prison I'd have never gone there. Why don't they support the children of the prisoners that were abandoned by their parents or the victims of their crime? I will never spend one more dollar at that store.
