The crew from L&J Moving did a fantastic job with our move. They were price competitive, communicative, careful with our belongings, and very timely. We opted for the pack service (which was a great choice for us) and the team did an excellent job of carefully securing our belongings, and then re-assembling our furniture upon delivery. Highly recommend!

Very positive experience from request to delivery!
It was awesome to be able to do a virtual walk - through. Upon requesting an estimate, I just held my phone & walked through the house holding my camera. I simply explained what I would ( or wouldn’t ) be taking on the move. The number of pounds estimated was amazingly accurate. No additional charges.
Melvin was a very experienced & trustworthy driver. He ( and his helper) did a great job of loading the truck . No damage; no need to file a claim. Delivery was on the date & time scheduled.
Be aware there is a window of days for delivery unless specifically planned.
Dara K. helped to coordinate the move ( from PA to CT). She was readily available by text or phone to answer questions. Very helpful.
A word of caution. Be sure to discuss who is doing most of the packing. It was not clearly noted and I ended up doing more of it by myself than expected. Ask what happens to items BEYOND the ones that require special attention!
This was a big move to do on my own. Although a local driver could have connected with out of state affiliates, I am glad I selected a company that routinely ships between states.
Experience matters.
I would hire L & J Moving & Storage, Pottstown again, if needed. The team was well coordinated & did a great job for me.

Movers didn't show up on the day they promised. When we called, we got "sorry for the confusion." There was no confusion, they just didn't keep the appointment. They said they would pack and load the next day. But they didn't show up until 11:00 a.m. We had reservations to stay that night in Virginia and meet family members to receive an important family heirloom, but had to cancel the reservations and our plans because the movers didn't finish until 8 pm. We had to get a nearby hotel room. On top of that, the movers moved up their arrival date from Sunday to Saturday, which caused us to make the drive from Bethlehem to the Detroit, MI area in one day. We are both seniors and not in great shape so this was very hard for us to do. We had a firm appointment, but this was not honored by your company. The movers themselves did a good job, but I can't say much for your company's ethics and working with seniors.

The whole team was prompt and professional through and through. From the initial quote with Ryan, to move coordinator Dara, Michael, the lead for our move at both origin and destination, and the moving crews at both, everyone did a fantastic job to make the moving experience as smooth and painless as possible.

L&J Moving & Storage - Pottstown. This was the second time using L&J and they’ve done an excellent job both times. Took great care of our items, we’re very personal, and they didn’t add any hidden charges. Will definitely use them again.

Overall, excellent experience. Movers were careful and there was no damage to home or belongings. My only complaint is that the inventory tags are too sticky and removed some of the finish from two of my furniture pieces. Be careful when removing them!

I couldn’t have asked for a better move L &J Moving& Storage where on the ball from the start! This was move 18 for me and it came after months of getting our ducks in a row! 15 days after signing the papers we needed to move! From Phil to Dara and the end was James it was phenomenal! It went without a hitch. North American Van Lines has always rocked it! Thank you Phil,Dara and James you’re the best.

L&J was fantastic to work with. From the initial walk through with Ryan to moving day with James and his guys, everything went so smoothly. The guys were so quick with getting furniture out of my old house and into the new one. They went above and beyond laying cardboard down to protect my floors with heavier items. I highly recommend using L&J for your next move!

L&J Moving and Storage was extremely easy, professional, and quick when it came to every detail of my move from estimates to the actual move. James and his crew showed up on time and had my house in New Jersey packed into their truck within a few hours and did the same unloading everything into our new house in Vermont. It’s scary having all your things transported a long distance but L&J Moving and Storage did an excellent job in treating my things like their own.

From start to finish the entire process was easy! Ryan came out to give us a quote ASAP and was very friendly. On move in day, the three gentlemen (Nelson, Mark, Jay) were very timely, efficient, respectful, and took good care of our furniture making sure nothing was damaged. Dara, the move coordinator, checked in on us during and after the move to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be using them again in the future as they were very professional! This was our first big move and it was from PA to NC! We were so impressed with the friendly and professional people at L&J (North American Van Lines)! Phil was our estimator and he was fantastic doing our virtual estimate which was guaranteed not to exceed his estimate! Then we were assigned Dara as our key contact who supported us from the day she was assigned. She was always quick to respond to our texts and made sure we had what we needed. And then our moving driver and lead Melvin was just a joy to work with! He’s super friendly and extremely organized and professional! He has everything in its place and walked us through the process. I really liked that he was there to pickup at our PA home and he was also there to deliver to our new home in NC. It’s so nice to have that consistency because we trusted Mel and really enjoyed working with him. Although moving can be stressful they made this an incredible experience! Highly recommended!
