Used to love this store for all my craft needs! Never had any issues with managers at all until the last 2 visits I shop often and do online orders and pick up in store! You get a coupon everytime to use that day, I always use the coupon for the same craft item! For at least a year I have bought the same items with that coupon I get for my online pick up! The last 2 times I had a manager I have never met and she was extremely rude , literally saying I can’t read blah blah blah, what?? She couldn’t even contemplate how to enter the coupon manually and when I explained I use this type of coupon every time I order for online pick up she stated the managers who entered the code manually were going against policy and she was the only one following protocol ?hmmm so for the past year all these managers were wrong and she is the only one right? To work in customer service you need to have good people skills, she clearly doesn’t! I wish I got her name, one bad apple has made me venture on over to Michaels for my craft needs! Never have experienced such ignorance from someone who was clearly wrong and just refused to admit it! Soooo I did as she said and took my business elsewhere?Thank you to all the managers though who were kind and did there job wonderfully, this lady needs to find a new career or brush up on her people skills (and I get they deal with a lot of rude people but I was extremely kind and explained how I have used a coupon the same way for at least a year for the same items and she was just rude)if I find out her name I will update (I actualy have had a few friends say the same sooo someone has to have her name)??♀️I generally only post reviews for good things but this lady was just to much! ?

This Joann routinely does not put up the pattern sale signs, even though they are on sale.I have tried asking about it, and they barked at me.This is on top of Joann corporate not promoting the pattern sales on the online weekly ads anymore.Unless, by chance, I see someone online talking about it, it's impossible to know when they are on sale.As an example, Simplicity was on sale until yesterday (Feb 19th 2024) but they did not put up a single sign inside the store in the pattern section. I found out today by chance and it was too late already.It does seem like they are purposefully trying to get rid of customers.
