I contracted for purchase and install of 12 windows for my first floor. After paying a hefty deposit, the sales person stopped returning any emails or calls and left me in terror thinking I was scammed. I had to call the corporate office in order to get someone on the phone that was familiar with my job. The quoted 6 week lead time turned into 18 MONTHS. The time line wasn't the worst part, but the utter lack of communication or updates throughout the process. When the windows were ready to install, they didn't allot enough time, and it turns out 1 window arrived broken and 1 window was just missing altogether. They set up a second date to install the remaining windows when they were replaced, and again did not allot enough time and the installer had to come back another time, causing me a lot of issues in rearranging my schedule. Two windows were not finished correctly and it took them months to agree to reimburse me to get them finished by a local painter. After submitting my receipt for reimbursement, I was given the run around saying the check takes at least 5 weeks to process. I have still not received it yet and I am almost 30 months out from the start of this process. This is not a reliable professional company and I massively regret signing that contract. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I’ve seen a wide range of reviews for Gunton/Pella. So I felt the need to weigh in with my recent experience in 2023.Since I had some experience in replacing windows, we decided to do our own installation on a recent renovation project. Andy from Pella DE arranged to visit our site with a regional manager to help us decide on the mechanics of replacement and measure 19 windows.Quoted price or delivery timeline beat 4 other manufacturers for beautiful 2 over 1 black windows. We ordered in November and took delivery in January, as quoted.On initial delivery, 2 windows were missing. Upon calling in to report, Andrea in shipping already knew which 2 were missing and what the resolution would be. They were shipped quickly.Later, on separate dates, we discovered 2 windows were shipped without nailing fins. The first set discovered was replaced within 5 days, which was well within our schedule.The second set was discovered when unpacking the last, largest window on a Sunday afternoon. While frustrating, Andy replied to my desperate voicemail by 8am Monday and supplied the parts before 10a!To me, the idea that a vendor can be perfect and be price competitive is unrealistic. Great companies minimize impacts and respond quickly to resolve issues.Pella/Gunton deserves nothing less than 5/5 stars from this perspective. Our windows are beautiful, operate well, are sturdy and attractive. And the quality, price and delivery beat several other brands we visited in local Philly suburban showrooms.Again, we had the skills and experience to install the windows ourselves, so we didn’t have to deal with fly-by-night 3rd-party installers. So I understand the frustration others have from poorly installed windows.But I can comfortably and highly recommend Pella/Gunton for replacement windows and related services. Bravo to Andy, Andrea and the delivery guys that served us.

This org deserves zero stars. Continually fail to deliver as promised, workmanship so poor it needs to be redone (2 out of 2 experiences). No clue how they say in business. I've been waiting 7 months for 3 screens and still no signs of life.Anyone even thinking of using this company, please call me for some honest feedback.Adding a pic so you have an idea of their "quality". Don't even get me started to the damage done to my home.

I’d put zero stars if I could.Wrong door was ordered and installed very poorly. It’s crooked and whistles when the wind blows.The windows we ordered were installed and due to improper installation we have water leaks in the siding that leaks into my basement.They left debris around my property including VERY sharp cut flashing that if my kids had found they could’ve been very badly cut. I could’ve also run over it with my zero turn and destroyed it.After months of several calls a week I have had absolutely no communication from them of how to resolve any of this.UPDATE:They ordered another door to install at no cost. It was the wrong door…It was ordered wrong and swung the wrong way. After them screwing up a second time, they decided to eat the cost and issued a refund.I absolutely DO NOT recommend Gunton corporation in any way.

The worst service and the manager Thomas Robinson is useless! I would never buy a product from these folks ever again. Save your money and don’t buy a product from Pella. The installers they send out are incompetent and will not fix the product.

Terrible! Terrible! Stay away and save time and headache after headache. I would give zero stars if I could. My windows that were still under warranty needed new locks. The first appointment took two months for someone to come out. They ordered the wrong locks and they had to reorder and schedule another two months out. This happened two more times over another 4 months. After 8 months, I am exactly where I started. And you get no where with talking to the office. The supervisor never gets back to you and when you are able to speak with someone, there is no sympathy which makes it seem like these issues are a daily occurrence for them.

Terrible service!!!!!Project at my house is still not finished.Over 12 months back and forward with them.Missing windows, Missing trims. Wrong sizes, incomplete trim work. Installation crew has no idea how to flash the openings properly.There is no communication between field managers and office. They hire people with no brains. They don't give a f... about customers.I highly not recommend those people.

My son's fixed panel on his slider took a tree branch and shattered. Gunton ordered a replacement glass panel and Clyde and Nick came for the repair. They cleaned out the old and put in the new. They were fast, efficient and friendly. Door is like new. Thanks for the great job.

I ordered Pella windows and doors and didn't know that Gunton was the 'local' company I had to deal with. They contracted out to Dreams Unlimited and honestly I totally regret this decision. A job that was scheduled to take 1 week took 7 months - and if I hadn't repeatedly followed up and complained multiple times I'd probably still be waiting for the job to be finished. The only thing worse than being called a liar by the manager/owner(?) of Dreams Unltd was the condescending & insulting email from Pella's regional manager. Joe the manager @ Gunton refused to take my phone calls for weeks. Josh the sales guy was great, up until the contract was signed. After that he was completely absent. I do have to say that the installers who came were great however the project management and overall customer service were abysmal. Look elsewhere and find someone else.

I placed an order on July 1st for Pella Windows with Jeff Sheard. So far this has been one of my worst experiences dealing with ordering windows. Originally stated a 10 week +/- lead time for windows, then delayed another 4 weeks, and now another 2 weeks. No explanation. I called Pella and they don't even have record of the order. Did the guy even place the order when I sent him the information? Even Pella is confused. No one at Gunton return calls or emails. Go somewhere else for windows or any other product from this company.

BUYER BEWARE! Took over a year to get a warrantied door replaced. Sales people will not speak to you after point of sale. Promises made were not kept. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Called 2 months ago to get a warranty issue looked at and fixed and still after calling again last month to see where this was at and due to the ongoing pandemic I gave a little leeway but still to this day no call back to set up an appointment….. I don’t get it
