Great place. Super doctors and techs and groomer! I agree whole heartedly. I am always treated well when bringing Missy in for grooming, exams, shots, etc. Everyone is so very nice to her and of course to me. I have been coming here for many years going back to when it was Peterman Animal Hospital when we had our first pet a Schnauzer. We were absent for a while during a change in ownership but the staff has kept a few old timers. I miss Dr. Marchetti but am pleased with the doctor I have now. My only hope is that is doesn't get "too big" and lose the personal attention that would be missed. I would very likely recomend Coventry for grooming because the groomer does a great job and my dog seems very happy with herl My only concern is the cost. I spoke with my group of lunch bunch friends (former classmates) and a few told me the cost was a little much. The one told me that she pays almost half what I am paying. I am an older person and or a tight budget. I think there should be some consideration for the elderly who love their pets but would appreciate paying ay a little less.

I am so glad to have found this office so close to my home. I have 2 ginger cats, both with flutd. We see Dr. Triana and we LOVE her. She is so kind and compassionate, and you can tell within 2 minutes of meeting her that she just loves animals. Our nurse at our last visit was Corrinne, and she was just so amazing too. They really take their time to discuss and educate about routine care in between yearly visits.

***updated 12/21/23 - forwarded my original email to the vet. Will wait and see..***THIS IS 100% A REVIEW OF THE OFFICE STAFF, NOT THE DOCTORS***I’ve been taking my pets here regularly since 2014. 1 dog, 1 cat until recently we added another puppy. No issues with regular care (except their groomer Carol is very rude but yanno..).Cut to, my 14 y/o Kees has a probable meningioma (brain tumor - diagnosed by a local e-vet). He was recently put on anti-seizure medication and steroids. Okay.Maybe 5-7 days after diagnosis and the start of medications, he started throwing up in the morning. A lot. I didn’t call Coventry until after he threw up 6-8 times, from 9am- 12pm, I called to make an appt but the girl on the phone seemed a little unsure and advised me to ‘call back if he can’t stop vomiting.’ Okay well he already can’t stop vomiting but I made her a deal that I’ll call back if he vomits again. At 12:45, he vomited again, this time bringing up his anti-seizure pill so I called the e-vet and they said definitely bring him in but there is a few hours long wait. I called Coventry again & said I’d like to bring him in, it’s been 9 times in a 4 hour period. The person on the phone seemed nonplussed. She said ‘bring him here, but we can’t guarantee that we can see him at all today and it’s definitely going to be a long wait.’ Great. At this point I’m assuming he needs to be hydrated and to take an anti-nausea, no big deal (but kind of a big deal bc of his brain tumor!). It was either Coventry or the e-vet, and I assumed the e-vet was going to be a longer wait AND more expensive, for very simple treatment. So, being a regular client with multiple pets (one with a recently diagnosed brain tumor that they knew about) for over 5 years, they can’t guarantee an emergency visit? It was 1pm on a Monday, cancel someone’s check up appt, this is an emergency!!So I called around and a different vet office brought us in IMMEDIATELY. As I suspected, he needed a hydration hump and some anti-nausea, and that vet told me it was probably the steroids making his belly upset and we put him on Pepcid and haven’t had a problem since. On top of this the office staff messed up 2 of my appts previously, not a big deal at the time but combined with this nonsense it’s unacceptable. On top of that, I had a friend that just called them tonight to make an emergency euthanasia appt for her very old cat and they told her a couple of days?? And she called my new vet and they got her in within the hour? What’s so telling is I sent an email to the staff about why we were never coming back and how upset I was with our experience and nobody even replied.

I took my cat in to be seen by the vet. The cat i took in was born a feral kitten and has always been an outdoor cat. When i saw the vet she diagnosed him with an upper respiratory infection and the herpes virus. We discussed medication for my pet and i expressed concern about giving him the liquid form of Doxycycline because my cat is not used to being handled. She informed me that the medications she wanted to prescribe could be compounded into a treat form and they would send them to Wedgewood and i would have the medication within two days. I was fine with this. We planned to do a recheck in a week to check his eyes. I saw the vet on Monday. On Tuesday they finally put the prescriptions through and then i called Wedgewood in regards to whether they received the prescriptions and when would i be receiving them. I was getting concerned about my cat not having any medication for two days. I have to interject here they gave my cat one dosage of Doxycycline on Monday. Wedgewood reported that i would not receive the medication until December 26, 2023! I flipped my lid! I spoke to two front staff people before speaking to the office manager. The first staff person i spoke to said i was sent home with medication and i said no i wasn't. I was told it shows on my account that i was sent home with medication. I said no i was not again and said can i get the medication? I said waiting till December 26 is unacceptable. The person i spoke to said i could call back to see when the medication would be ready for pick up. They also mentioned something about December 26 and that it shouldn't take that long to get medication. I don't remember the exact conversation with the second person. When i called back a third time i spoke to the office manager. She reported the medication the staff was talking about was what was given in house. I told her about the December 26 date and she was going to reach out to the vet. When she reached out to the vet the office manager told me a paste could be ordered that would take 7 to 8 days to receive. I told her i would never be able to get that into him and that is not appropriate to wait that long. She then said something about another medication that i could call around for at the local pharmacies to see if they have it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! People take their animals to the vet when they are sick to receive medication. YOUR FULL TIME JOB is veterinarian care, that is not my JOB. So i spent $217 for nothing! They did not offer my cat any other medication that he could get currently until what they wanted him to have arrived. This all happened on Wednesday.I then took my cat for a second opinion on Saturday. On the paper work that i received from Coventry Animal Hospital on Friday it said he was well hydrated. He had lost 3 lbs since the last time he was there which was two years ago and weight loss was also one of my concerns. The vet that i received the second opinion from reported my cat was DEHYDRATED! They had to give him fluids. I highly doubt my cat was well hydrated on Monday when the vet at Coventry saw him and that is what is documented on his paper work from them. He also received an antibiotic shot that would be good for two weeks and eye drops from the second opinion. Why did Coventry not offer this when i was told about the December 26 date for the medications they wanted?!Another thing i forgot to mention was the vet i saw at Coventry never told me my cat had an ulcer in/on his eye. I have no idea what that means for my pet.The office/front desk staff are in need of a customer service training.

Hello, I'm fine with you recommending your vaccinations to people. But when they are interested in trying something other than having drugs given to their dogs, with who knows what side effects, for your Doctors to say holistic care is a scam, is shocking. Also to be told they've had to put dogs down because they don't get the Lyme vaccine is probably not the right narrative to be telling your customers. If people choose to go a different route than vaccines and ask questions, as a professional don't call it a scam. If you don't agree fine, but you don't know who you're talking to. Just be mindful of what you're saying to your clients. Really debating ever coming there again.

Transferred from a vet in Phoenixville and we are so glad we did. Guest services were able to squeeze us in quickly as we were having a health concern with our dog. Dr. Jen and vet tech Tracy were amazing. They took our dogs health and history into account and gave us medicine to help her. Thankful we found Coventry Animal Hospital!

I’ve been bringing my cat to Coventry Animal Hospital for 4 years now and it is always a pleasant experience. Facility is very clean inside and out. Staff are very friendly, always making you and your pet feel welcomed. Vets are extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Any time my cat has ever had an issue they are always available to take him in the day of at a convenient time. And the wait is never long. I always leave my appointments feeling confident that my cat was given the proper diagnosis and treatment. I really couldn’t say more wonderful things about this place.

The property and building was well maintained & clean inside and out. I felt very comfortable when I brought my precious 11 yo beagle “Buddy” to his appt. Everyone, including staff & other clients, were caring and pleasant to be around and talk to.Dr. Haywood & staff were extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. (They didn’t take Buddy off into another room to perform the services he needed) I was 100% a part of his care.My experience with Coventry Animal Hospital was awesome and by Buddy’s reaction he gives it 4 paws and a tail wag! Thank you to everyone at Coventry Animal Hospital.
