It has more than you think. They sell pop culture merchandise like Funko pops, Marvel Legends, mugs, figurines, key chains, and other novelties. The prices are higher than what you would find on Amazon, but the store is clean and inviting. The store associates however? They range from capable to down right obnoxious and condescending. You do not feel welcomed by them when you enter the store and it seems they judge and look down on you. You are also hammered HARD to buy into their membership program and magazine offer.

first time going to this books a million and i can’t even spend time at a bookstore with my daughter in peace! i simply came to buy manga and my daughter was eyeballing the huge toy selection. i checked out and it was the most awkward and most racially motivated encounter that my mama didn’t put me on this earth for. :-) happy aapi month

The first time I visited the other day, it was very nice and organized and I found what I was looking for. The staff was helpful and guided me in the right direction for what I wanted.

You will get paid less than the children in the early 1900s. Schedules on God's day.

The store is well stocked and I thought I loved this place, until they decided to fumigate the store with toxic cleaners on a saturday.....had to leave the store.

I went to Books-A-Million multiple times, when it was in the mall and now outside of the mall. This happened to me in both buildings. Rodney basically pressures you to sign up for a subscription, and I seen multiple people on reviews said they had the same problem. It's not even just once he asks, he keeps pressuring you to sign up even after you said "no, i don't want to" , "no i'm sure" . You walk into the bookstore with a good vibe and excited to look/get books, but he ruins it basically by asking literally everytime to sign up, and pressuring you. Besides this though, great selection of books, even some plushies, mugs, bookmarks, etc

I love this book store. Always clean and employees friendly. Except the manager. Went twice since the buy one get one 50% started. The first time When i got up to the register and they started scanning i noticed everything was coming up 50% off. So i asked respectfully if all books were that much cause i would of gotten more and the manager came over all nasty saying absolutely not and how they have to restart their computers. Then the second time i went in to get two books on the sale. Both on the sales table that said by one get one 50% off. One didnt have a skicker so i went to the register to ask and the manager came over saying absolutly not its a new book. The cashier put it into the computer and it was on sale. The first thing the manager said was well someone didnt sticker it correctly. I wanna thank the cashiers for being respectful

High pressure sales, they will push their membership and "free" magazine subscription on you and treat you like you are an idiot if you decline. The "free" magazine will automatically renew onto your credit card if you don't cancel. Not for me, I just wanted to buy a few books for Christmas presents.

Great bookstore, they just redid the building and it’s very big and nice. Their prices are fair and they have a lot of variety. I would say my only complaint is that the science and nature section is very slim. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere for adults and kids. Lots of parking.
