Caught dentist lieing to me twice! The dentist said the x-rays I brought with me were out of date.! They were made 5 days prior. Then tried to show me his x-rays to show why teeth needed pulled. I guess he thought i was stupid Lol He tried to make me get a tooth pulled that a dentist with 25 years more experience said was fine. It was root canaled and did not bother me. Said it would get infected!! It has been this way for 2 years!! Said my partial wouldn't fit. Other dentist disagreed. He then refused to give me my teeth. Said he couldn't help me. angry at this point because he been caught. I finally got my bottom partial! I'm the one paying and people trying to tell me what I have to do !!! CRAZY BE AWARE. Love the gals there great work.

I would give no stars. I took my son in yesterday for his first visit to this dentist. Our appointment was for 9am. I showed up at 8:55am, did his paperwork and then proceeded to sit and sit and watch every person that came in way after we did, go back. I work at an eye doctors office and was giving the benefit of a doubt because I know things get behind. 10:20 came as I continued to watch everyone that came in after us go back and decided I had enough. Not one time did anyone say that they were running behind nor acknowledge that we've been sitting there. Then I told the front lady that we were sitting there since 9am and now it's 10:20 and said we're leaving and she said "oh, okayeee" like it was weird we'd be leaving.

First visit was canceled because their staff called out. Then second visit, I waited an hour past my appointment and was never seen. I walked out. Stop over scheduling and wasting people's time.

5th experience. It's not fair to review one time because there are many moving parts to this establishment and I've been there now 5 different times, each experience different than the other. Over all the doctors are good the staff are sufficient. There is a lack of communication that I believe falls under more patients then they can handle which happens. They are patient though. I'm a terrible baby when it comes to dentists and they kept me calm during extractions. I had 7 teeth out today. I was supposed to be put under but my blood pressure was too low. The dentist was patient but when he finished he walked out and never came back. Maybe he was in a hurry to get to the next patient. But he did a good job. My denture is way too big but I'm not going to let it get me down... yet. They said they will fix it over time.

Dental procedure was fine but the way they handle their paperwork and payment is unorganized and unprofessional. Makes me not trust them enough that what else could they be getting wrong. I won’t be going back after 2 visits.I’ve had a long time dentist for 30+ years that retired so I decided to try this place. I’ve had some tooth pain and on my first visit which includes x-rays and consultation. They extracted 2 teeth, cost was $600. AFTER they extracted my teeth (which seemed to be performed professionally) they forgot to have me sign a consent form. So they had me do it after. Not that big of a deal. But is a bit unprofessional. So I pay the receptionist with my credit card the $600. Then set up my next appointment for cleaning with another worker. She asks if I know about their $39 a year program that would save you money. I said no one told me. It’s a no brainer to use it. I’m sure everyone gets it. The receptionist said but I already paid my bill. The other worker said it’d be easier to have me sign up then I’d get credit toward my next bill instead of refunding my money than running it again. I said sure. I assume she would sign me up right there as she had a computer in front of her but she told me to go into the waiting room, apply online on my phone. Which is odd. I was already late in picking someone up so I asked if I could do it later. She said that’s fine. And I left.I book my next appointment for two days later. The day after my first appointment I went online and did the $39 membership. I figured I’d remind the receptionist about all this when I go in the two days after. When I arrive at my appointment, I tell her the situation and she said sure and that she needed to do some things and check with someone. Turns out I couldn’t get credit money from the $684 that I paid (which would be $103. The program gives you 15% off for general dentist) because I didn’t apply the same day. No one told me that. Then the other worker who I assumed is her superior chimed in and said i had to do it by 5pm. I left that dentist around 5:30 so even if I did apply it wouldn’t have worked. All they said was sorry. Even though it was their fault for not specially telling me (even though it was already after 5, so it wouldn’t have worked anyway) regardless, they are not on top of this stuff. And they should have offered me a solution because it was their fault.Like I said, it’s too bad that it’s this disorganized as the doctors seem nice and facility was nice but too many bad customer service things that rubs me the wrong way. Also the prices seem good but they seem to want to charge you little extras that you might need like fancy tooth brushes and extra procedures that seem possibly unnecessary? But I’m not totally sure. I was researching some reviews and there was some lawsuit that alluded to that as well. But it’s hard to say but something to be on the look out for. So that’s how they can charge less and make it seem cheaper.I think I’d rather find a less corporate chain with fewer doctors that have a long reputation that I can trust even if slightly more expensive. Or at least a company that when they are in the wrong try to fix it instead of saying just sorry.

Everyone is very friendly when I visit Aspen Dental. The dentist really helped me with my teeth, because after he filled them I no longer have the sensitivity with hot and cold foods. Great job doctor!

Horrible first time customer experience at Pottstown location. It was an emergency visit so we know procedures for an emergency are different than a scheduled appt. The scheduling coordinator was excellent and caring. However, at the office, you’d think they’d make you comfortable or give temporary relief until the actual appt. No. They just poked and prodded, made my husbabd feel worse by saying “well you shouldn’t have waited so long” & demanded $400 to hold the appointment for next week. No antibiotics to help with the infection. We have great insurance! We are just stunned by the mistreatment. Called another local dentist who was willing to stay open later for my husband and actually help. Aspen can give that Monday spot to someone else; so please refund the deposit.

I have to give praise to the kind folks here before explaining my one star. The hygienist is phenomenal. She is kind and caring and puts the comfort of her patients first. 2/3 of the dental assistants I’ve seen were caring and knew what they were doing. None of that can make up for the dentist and the way they allow (or force?) him to practice. I saw him for three seperate appointments, and my care, well-being, and/or comfort was never his focus. I’m not sure how it could be when he was seeing at least 3-4 patients at a time, in and out of rooms, for all of my visits. I’d had two root canals at different dentistries in the past and never was in pain after. I was in pain after all of my appointments with this dentist because he puts too much force on the mouth and jaw, and he also literally slipped his drill and cut my tongue open during my second appointment. He gave me sutures and refused me pain meds. The sutures came out that night (because the tongue is a muscle that moves a lot) and I could not sleep that night due to the pain. Again, I have never felt pain during or after dental procedures with my previous dentist. I only stopped seeing her because I moved. When I was with the hygienist, I heard another patient who was being seen by this dentist screaming out in pain. Go here for a cleaning but DO NOT go here for any other dental care if you can avoid it. It is 100% NOT NORMAL. He seems like he has a calming presence, but he will continue to say “sorry sorry sorry” every time he inflicts pain on you and it is NOT NORMAL DENTISTRY. No one should have to be in pain while being given health care. It is NOT normal. GOOD DENTISTS DO NOT VIEW INFLICTING PAIN AS NORMAL. Please, go somewhere else.

Dental assistant was very rough when inserting the X-ray tool into my mouth after I told her several times that she was hurting me. She said it didn’t hurt . Now I have swollen tissue and small cuts in my mouth. I ended up having to tell her that she had to stop if I said something hurt. I didn’t mind that it was uncomfortable and after I confronted her she was more gentle. If you go there be sure to assert yourself.
