Came in looking for a few oz of silver bars, gentleman brought out his tray of stock and had exactly what I was looking for. Picked up 3 1oz bars and a beautiful 1901 Morgan. Straightforward deal with fair pricing, I am highly appreciative. Thank you gents!

I absolutely love this shop. This is my most recent purchase - a heavy solid sterling silver Tiffany bangle bracelet (numbered limited edition) and I got it for about 1/5 of the original price if I had bought it new from Tiffany's. It has a few minor wear marks but nothing noticable. Within days of wearing it I got 3 offers from people who wanted to buy it right off my wrist for upwards of $750! Needless to say I didn't sell it! I do silversmithing work so I buy a lot of scrap silver and they have tons of it and don't mind a bit that I acid scratch test each piece.
The only negative thing I somewhat agree with from other reviewers is that the staff can seem dismissive or downright rude. But this is just because they are so busy and all you have to do is be respectfully assertive. Decide what you want to see before you ask to see it, especially the fine jewelry. I'll select up to a dozen pieces of fine jewelry before I ask to see them and usually they are happy to negotiate prices and especially bundle items - I have gotten bundles of 7 or 8 sterling silver jewelry items, usually hallmarked designer (Tiffany, Lagos Caviar, Cartier, Samuel Benham) for less than half of the ticket price.
My only caution is don't sell them anything you want back. It is not a pawn shop and you can't redeem items. But they do give you a fair price for what you sell. Since I buy job lots at auction to repurpose for my jewelry making I end up with things I can't use - like 10k gold rings with a lot of baguette diamonds - and I exclusively sell these to this shop. I get a good price, they fix the item up and sell for a reasonable price. I would be a bit lost without the services provided at this shop.

I never had a problem with Fernando or anyone else in the store. I stop in every so often when I am in the intersection. I bought my 3 pianos and laptop there and they all still work great..

I see why all the negative reviews. Owners seems disinterested in having a cordial conversation and cannot give an estimate on valuables without asking for other offers from other owners. Does not want to offer based off anything besides what other businesses offer which he asks for when inquiring about an offer. No competitive pricing and fully disinterested in making an actual offer.

I like buying jewelry from pawn shops because you generally get more of the value for the gold or diamonds that you buy, And not from the garbage company's in malls and private gem stores. This past Christmas I was looking for a nice gold necklace for my wife she had been hinting at for a present for over a year. I went into cash traders and I looked at a very intricate weaved white gold necklace that was very appealing. I told the owner That I did not know if it will fit her neck, he said no worries I will give you a receipt even though we have no return policy and if you bring it back in three days you can exchange it for a same price necklace or greater which was a very nice gesture. He gave me a 40$ off discount too. I ended up taking the necklace home to give it my wife on Christmas Eve and she loved it and she has worn it every day since The reason the prices are not so cheap is because they know what the have, but they are willing to negotiate, that's how it works.

They are often more than impolite practically degrading to us when we come in trying to sell. They are way way over priced. I was in there and saw them selling an item used that Walmart was selling brand new, I only Walmart had a lower price. I have walked into that store trying to do a quick sale on items that are currently selling between 260 and 500 on eBay, and I do mean selling, but they can't even offer 20 bucks for something they could make a ton of money on. It raises a lot of questions. They can never tell you what they're buying either they tell you to look around and see. Them if they carry it they say they have it and don't need it but if they don't have it they don't sell it. It makes zero sense and they aren't even polite about it.

Polite staff. But a total low balling rip off when selling something. Lowest offers I've ever seen for a pawn shop.
