Smoking, kinda old dark auburn hair employee on break outside, busy making a call. Someone left free canned goods to be up to grab plus a few veggies. I saw a big cabbage and I asked if I could pick it and put it on a cart as I shop. Lady employees grabs it and holds in her fat lap. Then I made eye contact and, in her smoker voice mumbled it was hers. While puffing away ( on the very close premises at the entrance- manager notice!- and next to the free veggies) and on the phone. Way to go lowlife, you missed the fresher cabbage in the other box. Make lots of soup, please, your body will thank you.

Despite all the hype that "they're gonna do better" there's not a hint of anything fresh for sale. Nare a celery stick nor apple. Shame on Family Dollar.

I guess some people expect the workers to treat them like royalty. I can't believe people complain that they are on a cell phone and talking to one another while they wait on them. I love going there never a bad visit. I see more rude customers than anything. Not bad workers.i guess we need to roll out the red carpet for people like Jess and Kendra and a few others on here.
