“I like going to the dollar general store..I find a lot of things I didn't even know they have.. This time though, I guess it was restocking day because there were a lot of boxes all over the place. It looked a little sloppy.. I still like going there.”
“Great local supermarket, and great sandwich’s at their deli for very good prices. You’ll receive twice the amount of meat (and better quality) in your sandwich than you’d get at a Wawa.
They also have a hot food/soup/salad bar
which saves me time when I don’t feel like cooking, but want a home style option.
The people in these reviews complaining about prices are mostly elderly folks that aren’t used to inflationary prices, or they are comparing prices to Walmart - which is unfair.”

“It’s one of my favorite grocery stores in the area! They have much nicer produce than the giant in east Stroudsburg, and better selection across the board. For ethic/international food options we prefer to support our small local grocery stores though. (They are amazing and super helpful!)”
“I've been going to the Commissary for many, many years and I've always been treated great!! It's clean and the staff has always been wonderful and helpful...love going there to shop! Worth the stop if your in the area!”

“Great little commissary and PX/gas station yes they have limited tobacco products at PA prices and yes they have lots of liquor and decent selection of basic beer type beverages basic uniform stuff like patches pins and undergarments mostly Army I think...grocery store is in separate building oh and the PX has a VERY small barber shop I'm sure priority is given to base officers possibly active personal I will check and update when I get a chance... Hours are mostly the same for PX an commissary 0800-1800 Tues-Fri Sat I think is 0800-1500 or 1600 BOTH ARE CLOSED on Sunday AND Monday”

“I've been coming here forever. It's the smaller of our two local markets. The store is always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I wish they had a larger organic section but it's a small store so they do what they can with the space they have, I guess. There produce section can be hit or miss as well but for the most part it's a great store.”

“The deli in this gas station is amazing! The sandwiches were fantastic, bread was nice and soft and there was a perfect amount of mayo on there. Macaroni salad was delicious too. They should definitely advertise better, I didn't even know there was a deli in there until I stopped to get gas one day. Stroudsburg is seriously lacking in good delis and I'm extremely happy to find out about this one. I highly recommend!”

“This location , store is very clean , nice and organized. Staff is always friendly and always willing to go out of there way to answer your questions or help you find something. All the stores have upgraded, and have a nice small selection of produce. They always have great deals. I would recommend to download there app, then clip any coupons for items your going to purchase, and don't forget if your going there on a Saturday, clip the coupon for $5 off $25 or more. That's every Saturday. All you have to do, when you go to checkout , you enter the phone number you used to sign up with for the app, and your digital coupons will be deducted.”

I put in an order for curbside pickup that was never assembled, even though I received a message it was ready for pick up. I spent a good chunk of my afternoon waiting to pick up an order that was never there, with a toddler and baby in the car, and was very upset!
Noel took it upon himself to hand pick my order, although this mess up was no fault of his own. He was empathetic and compassionate to me, and is the kind of employee we should all aspire to be. Thank you Noel!”

“Yesterday and today the Store is looking alot better!! You could never get down half the isles in this store because 2-3 cages of merchandise in each isle today there was barely any cages throughout the store and if so you could actually get around and down every isle. The new manager Jim is doing an excellent job!!”

“I love ALDI so much and this one is no exception. Great prices, great food quality, good selection, and the staff were very friendly and sweet. We were able to purchase food for a large group travelling for an extended weekend here WAY under budget, which was very welcomed to us all! The gentleman at the checkout was great too.
