I'm not sure if I'll ever come back to Kalahari, a lot of things don't add up to the cost for admission and an overnight stay.Rooms: The rooms are dark, it's almost like being in a casino.Food & drinks: Food and drink is expensive. $30 for pizza that tastes like school lunch?

We visited Kalahari with my 18 month old daughter and she loved it! The water park was very kid-friendly and many options for them. The rooms are pretty worn down - don’t expect much from their rooms. The shower was decent but wish they would upgrade their rooms a bit. The restaurants at the resort itself are decent as well. We will definitely be returning!

This resort doesn’t costs that kind of money.in same price you can rent much better rooms in D.C or in Virginia in Miami too:

This place was amazing!! They have a variety of restaurants (as a vegetarian I had alot of choices!), snack bars & gift shops. The rooms were CLEAN & spacious. We had great service everywhere we went. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Although we were there for a convention, we were able to enjoy the water park on Sunday. Lazy river, wave pool & hot tubs were awesome. There is truly alot to see & do! Buikd A Bear was also super fun!! We will definitely be back but during better weather so we can check out the other activities that are only open during warmer months (ie outdoor pool/hot tub, walking trail & zip lining).Safety: We did have to visit a local ER as my partner had a minor injury (unrelated to the park). Lehigh Valley hospital was amazing! Fast & friendly. The doctor & nurses were very thorough & helpful getting my partner bandaged up & on our way back.to the resort in no time. Should anything go array during your visit, Lehigh Valley hospital will certainly take good care of you.Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey. However, it was soooooo delicious!! It was definitely worth the price & they have something for literally everyone! No way you'll leave hungry!Noteworthy details: This is definitely a luxury hotel with exceptional service & food! We had no complaints about our stay whatsoever!!

I would like to start with the positives as I very rarely write negative reviews. I'd also like to say that this was the first time ever that I cut a family trip short.Positives:Staff: everyone seemed super friendly and helpful. There does not seem to be any shortage of staff either.Steakhouse: went in with fairly low expectations, was not disappointed. Our server was great, and the food was good.Negatives:Main issue is how overbooked it was. I have visited a lot of these types of resorts and ranches, both in the tri-state area, as well as out west and this was the worst experience I have ever had. The waterpark was packed, wet towels everywhere, people arguing about chairs because there are none to be found without a wet towel on it. Same with tables.Called it quits after 15 minutes. Went to the arcade as it's pretty much the only other thing to do in this place. If you are that booked, why are you allowing people to go to the water park who are not staying at the resort? The room smelled like a damp dog. The bedding was super low grade and while it may be personal preference, the beds were uncomfortable. We had to have the window open while we were out just to get rid of the smell. All hallways just have bags of wet towels and garbage lined up. Feels like you're in some trailer park.Overall that was the feeling that I left with. Trailer park.It has all the potential of being a good resort if it wasn't so overbooked and it didn't feel like they're trying to suck every dollar out of you.Even some of the rides in the water park are extra. For the price we payed I expected some level of "exclusivity".Instead it was easier to just call it quits after breakfast. Cut our losses and left a day early very disappointed.Rooms: Smelled like a damp basement

The rooms look old and outdated.Rooms: The suites have space for a large group but the rooms need updating.

We stayed here for Easter break. This was our first time staying as guests at the hotel. We've been here for a birthday party before but the service for that party was sub-par. Staying as guests was a better experience. My kids loved the water park, especially the indoor/outdoor hot tub. They have plenty of food options. The arcade area is one of the biggest I've seen at a hotel. Check in was easy when you pre-register online. They have check-in kiosks. We enjoyed the waterpark on arrival day and went straight to our room once we were ready. The rooms are outdated but clean and comfortable. They should at least add USB ports. They do have a microwave and mini fridge. We would go back for another stay.

First off holy smokes this place is humongous. This blew my mind. Beautiful it is definitely something nice to look at all the way around. Very clean in all aspects. The only two things I did not like is that after you book your room and you go to check in you have to put down another $200 deposit on the same card you used to check in on and NO ONE told us this until after we got there. Or I'd have no problem with it. Second NI CASH at all... What again NO-ONE TOKD ME about this until after we got there or it would have been no problem at all. Other than that is was great. Definitely needed more time here. Food was amazing too by the way....... You say in your comment to my review that you tell me about the deposit well I went and double checked and no I absolutely did not receive an email telling me about this. The only thing I got telling me was when we checked in it said that we would be putting a deposit and I honestly thought it was the deposit included in the payment because it was not explained clearly. So that definitely needs to be fixed.Rooms: Rooms are amazing, Beautiful, clean, comfortable beds. Loves themNearby activities: Everything is right in the resort loved thisFood & drinks: Good and drinks all jv e the place everywhere you were you found something which is awesome

Our family recently visited Kalahari and had an incredible time. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we felt safe and well taken care of throughout our visit. The variety of attractions at Kalahari is truly impressive. There is something for everyone, from thrilling water slides to relaxing lazy rivers. Our kids had a blast in the children's play areas, and we adults enjoyed the more adventurous slides and rides. One thing that stood out to us was the attention to detail in the design of the park. The African theme is carried out beautifully, adding an extra element of fun and adventure to the experience. The waterpark is also spacious, so even when it was busy, we never felt overcrowded. The food options at Kalahari were also excellent. We appreciated the variety of choices available, from quick snacks to full meals. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.Overall, our experience at Kalahari was fantastic. It's a perfect destination for families looking for a fun and memorable getaway. We can't wait to visit again!

the place is nice, they have few restaurants and gift shops, the water park is nice too, the food is expensive inside, I pay almost 50 dollars for only one pizza, over all is ok, the room is ok, in my room the bathroom was a little stinky, but over all everything is okRooms: the rooms are ok, but can be betterSafety: very good, they are very careful with the kids and everybody, excelent.Food & drinks: not bad, nothing special but really expensive.

Good/clean family friendly location. However, the prices are robbery. I chose to pay a few bucks more to get the $50 game card with my reservation but what they don’t share is you are charged $74 sales tax for the $50 game card. On what planet does that make sence. Spending $74 to get a $50 game card. Do not upgrade for the game card. It is not worth it. If you want to play games pay for it separately.
