Although the desk staff and doctors are nice the people who work in the glasses area are rude, I was ignored and then met with attitude asking simple questions and also didn’t have much help or answers. The doctor also gave me wrong information saying they could give me specific measurements and when I asked the lady in the glasses department said it’s against the doctors orders …

Dr. Amy Weber is disgrace to doctors. She has the worst bedside manner I've ever encountered and is nothing like her mission statement. she is far from compassionate and thorough. She is condescending, rude, and needs some training on how to treat your patients. She had an attitude from the start. Even yelled at me for not having my records transferred. I quote "I told you last time to have your records transferred". I was never told that the first time i saw her as a new patient in 2022, which is what i told her when she was done beratingme for it. the reason they weren't transferred is becasue i see another wills eye physician, and i was told that there systems would be linked by the time i came back for my yearly exam. This issue should of been taken up with the staff about giving me the wrong information. even when i told the receptionist i needed a transfer record form they told me again that i didn't need one since they're systems were connected. I had to explain how Dr. Weber yelled at me because they aren't. I dont think she would even read my records because she thought I was there because I was diabetic. I was there for a routine yearly eye exam. She even complained to me about the 160+ patients she sees on a daily basis, and is stressed/burned out. The appointment was rushed, and she acted like she didnt even want to be there. She has time to complain about her job, but not answer my questions or listen to my concerns. I get people have things going on, but that is no excuse to take that out on your patients. I'll make her life easier by being one less patient she has to see. I will not be returning here after that.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Absolutely horrible and the staff is extremely rude. They just expect you to know everything about their products and treat you like an idiot if you don’t.

They do not answer the phones- so you leave voice mail after voice mail and NO ONE ever calls you back. I am a new patient- have yet to receive my sample contacts to try and see if they are a fit. But I am taking my business somewhere else. They are horrible.

The worst experience in my life...I have an appointment with Bailey, Weber, Wisner at the Wills Eyes Philadelphia. 11/2022My HMO insurance call Dr. D. Wisner office and confirmed that they'll paid my visit. On the day of my appointment I got there and while I'm in the room with the tech and she has put drops in my eyes to dilate my eyes for the retina diabetes exam.... Certainly the receptionist pulled me from the room and demanded for me to pay $220 dollars because they didn't take my insurance. and If I didn't have the money they have to cancel my appointment. I was shocked and humiliated. The manager came over standing over the receptioist instructing her to collect the payment. I asked for an itemized bill to show my insurance and they refused to give it to me. They just gave me a receipt of payment.I reported to my insurance and it took them days to get in contact with them. Horrible experience all they care is about payment....I complaint about burning eyes and pressure and the doctor didn't even addressed it.

Good morning. I am now at Wills eye clinic, for my appointmentI do not feel comfortable right now at this time of my treatment.I feel as though I am being treated like a mule. It feels like a eyeFactory. I did decline the eye pressure treatment of My eyes since it has nothing to do with my eye injury. Now I have been sitting here for the last half hour, like I have been deserted. What should I do?!Not happy!David

Awful Customer Service!! Thought I'd try them out since they are associated with Wills Eye and close by what a mistake! Went there to get contacts 3 months ago and still don't have them. Doctors are good though after that it's all down hill.

Let me begin by saying I'm already a patient with this office. I called on a Monday morning with severe eye infection with major, unbearable pain. I had already been trying to treat it at home with dry eye drops and Excedrin. When I called in the morning, I initially felt confident they would help me. The receptionist told me she would call back within an hour to tell me when to come in. However, when she called back, she told me that Dr. Weber said to tell me to keep using my dry eye drops and she'd see me in a week and could not fit me in before then. I told the receptionist I'd have to call back, and with that she hung up on me before I finished speaking. Real empathetic!!! I would have gladly come in the next day, but that wasn't an option. So, Scheie Eye at Penn saw me that same day and I've never been treated there before. Got seen right away and felt much better by Monday night. The doctor at Penn told me I have an advanced anterior uveitis, but left untreated any further was risking permanent eye damage, but Weber Eye couldn't care. So yeah, I'm never going there again and I DO NOT recommend this place because they do not give needed immediate opthamology care when you really need it.

I have been calling since December just to get in to have Dr. Baileys opinion on my eyes. I was told I have cataracts in my right eye so nothing urgent. I have left message after message and no one has called me back. I finally get through to a human yesterday and she connects me to the cataract department. I left a message, someone calls me today. She didn't leave a name, she sounded like I was bothering her. I tried to call and surprise, surprise a recording. Well I didn't leave a message cause it's not worth it.

Terrible. This place has ZERO respect for their patients, or for their time. I went for my lasik consultation in April, and was supposed to have the procedure in May.I received no courtesy call about my surgery. They called me 6:30AM the day of my surgery, and asked where I was. They have since rescheduled my surgery FOUR times. I just yesterday got a call and it was basically “we know it’s taking forever, but too bad. Rescheduled from July 13th to August 10th. Wasn’t even given a reason. Just told that they weren’t operating on the day THE CHOSE!!!Avoid this “doctor’s” office as much as possible.

We think Dr Bailey is a very good doctor but the staff could use some training, they should call if the doctor is running late. My wife had a appointment for 8:45. We waited almost one hour and left. The staff didn't seem to care.

You should never have to wait 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment time with at least no explanation.

Dr Wisner is competent, kind and caring. So is the visual field technician. Such an affable guy. They make my appointments enjoyable and I am happy to have ended up in their hands. To you two, THANK YOU for what you do. The front desks lady I interacted with was extremely nice as well.As far as the administrative office is concerned, I have encountered quite a few bumps lately. Once they told me I had showed up on the wrong day - which I understand can happen - and then, after my appointment, I started receiving medical bills that made no sense. I called the billing dept. and they answered me from the Philippines. Needless to say, they were not able to assist me. Why would such an established facility as Wills Eye want to outsource their services to an offshore agency? It’s ok if T mobile has its customer service center in the Philippines, but Bailey, Weber, Wisner?? Your patients need not only their doctors nearby but also the administrative people (all of them). If a bill is wrong (highly likely), you want to speak to someone that works from the office, knows the doctors, is familiar with the environment and the patients. What I learned interacting with the billing dept.? That medical billing is more complicated than rocket science or eye surgery.

1. For every contact lens exam I have had in the past at various locations, I have been provided with a fresh pair of contact trial lenses based on the new prescription and sometimes even trial travel sizes of contact lens solution. At Wills Eye, the doctor had me put my old worn out contacts back into my eyes and was honestly pretty rude.2. The doctor was trying to convince me to purchase contacts through WillsEye and mentioned "our prices are the same as online retailers" - first of all, the doctor should not be trying to convince patients to buy contacts through them. That is solely up to the patient. Moreover, the prices at WillsEye were significantly higher than any other retailer I have purchased contacts from.3. Upon leaving, I was asked to pay $75 even though the visit is covered under my insurance. Prior to the appointment, I called my insurance twice to double check that the contact lens exam would be fully covered. Also, when I made the appointment over the phone with WillsEye, I even had WillsEye triple check to make sure the contact lens exam would be fully covered and I was told it would be. Therefore, I was appalled when the front desk mentioned that I owe $75 as I was leaving. It ended up being a back and forth argument between her and I in front of several other patients. Very disappointing and I will not be returning to this location. This location is all about maximizing on profit instead of helping patients.
