I contacted Julia, and she walked me step by step through the design process. I had a couple of ideas from Pinterest and she sourced multiple stones and explained the pros and cons of each design choice. Their customer service was amazing, and the price was very fair for a custom design. I had the ring within a month . I would recommend them to anyone.”

“I rarely take the time to write a review, however my experience with Gemological Resources was well worth noting. I went there for an appraisal for a ring for an insurance claim, with the intention that they would do the work on the ring when the claim was paid. Unfortunately the ring had more damage than we thought and the repairs were more than my insurance would allow. I opted to pick up the ring and just send it the insurance company to do the repair. Not only were they so gracious to me, but took all the time to advise me and were so knowledgeable. When I asked them what I owed them for all the time and research they did over a week they said there was no charge. Absolutely no one gives this exceptional customer service. I highly recommend them.”

“It was nearing time to close when I knocked on the door of Optima Jewelers. My rings were too tight and I had been looking for someone to help. Rob answered the door, turned all the lights on, and took a look at my hand. I said I can come back when you have more time. He said no, it should come off. He so kindly took a tool and opened the band of the ring after spending a good amount of time sawing it open careful not to hurt me. Here's a guy who took 1/2 hour of his time, did not charge me a cent, and removed the offending rings. You can bet I will be having this kind jeweler, Ron Ly, do the repairs for the re-sizing. He kept the store open after closing to help me, who he did not know, and did not even ask my name. Who does this in this day and age?”

“As a thirty year old man who has no experience with jewelry, I was in need of some guidance for an engagement ring I wanted to buy. A close family friend had recommended John Anthony. I stopped in one day and told the father and son duo what I was thinking. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only did they help me through the process, the educated me and explained the entirety of the ring, the diamond, the process of how it’s made. I was in there for hours talking with them both and it felt like five minutes. I had some stones from my then fiancés late father that John happily agreed to put into this ring. I put the order in and within a few weeks, I had the exact ring I was looking for and it looked amazing.I went back for the wedding band and it was the same experience. At this point I had only met these guys a couple times, but I felt like I knew them for years. This is why it’s important to go to “mom and pop” shops, to support local businesses. I would not have gotten the experience and comfort I did if I had bought a ring at a chain or online. Engagement rings are expensive, so you want to make sure you are making the right decision. “Looking to simply return a holiday gift, we entered one of our favorite fashion retail stores. As connoisseurs of Chico's, we were pleasantly surprised to be personally and genuinely greeted by Ann-Marie (who we later realized was the store manager). The fashionable style and setting of the store (and personal service) reminded me of the good ole days when personal shopping and excellent service were implemented into the brand. We left the store very pleased with fashion items and accessories we both needed for work, leisure, and vacation in 2023, as well as holiday gifts for ourselves. Yes, I would definitely return to the Plymouth Meeting store since the customer service far surpassed that of the King of Prussia, PA mall and even the Colonnade on 5th store in Naples, FL. The manager, Ann-Marie is to be commended for making my first visit to store #353 memorable and rewarding, and for remaining so humble in her capacity. Thank you Chico's and Happy 40th anniversary in 2023!”
