In fact, you have to go out of your way to get a lesser quality.Keep in mind it's not a traditional chain grocery store in the sense that you can get all of your household needs - but they don't advertise to be that either.What you can do is get fresh, organic ingredients to make whatever your heart desires; whether I am making a filet mignon and baked potato with garlic bread, or salmon and a mushroom risotto, or a proper Shepards pie or seafood risotto, I can get the organic fresh ingredients I prefer.In a society where our food is becoming more and more processed, this chain of stores allows you to eat the healthiest that you can.Price wise some items are slightly more expensive, however they do a fantastic job of keeping other items actually CHEAPER than much larger chain stores.Sometimes there are stocking issues, so if you are making dinner for that night, go in with an open mind.The bottom line is this - they don't have to be in this business, but I am extremely grateful they are.”

“This is my favorite farm market in the area. Good selection of fresh produce and meats, nice variety of heat-and-eat meals. Deli meats and cheese, soups, salads, and quiche are always in stock and there are always fresh breads, rolls, and pies. You can also find local dairy products here.”

“We mostly use the pick up service at this Acme and have been so happy with our experience. I they always have most of the things I order in stock, and if it’s not in stock, they are good about the substitutions they offer. There have been a few times where the produce was not fresh, but when I called them to let them know, they were extremely generous in refunding me, as well as giving me even more than I asked the next time I picked up my groceries. They are so willing to make things right and are really great at communicating it. As a bonus, their app is very easy to use, and has some great meal ideas and recipes.”

“Pharmacy staff are amazing. Both Pharmacist are very understanding and treat you like you're family. We switched most of our Rx to this Pharmacy.
As for the store itself, it's small but should have what you need. Compared to most Giant stores around the area, I'm surprised this one hasn't been renovated as well.”

“I’m in here almost daily, being a local resident who lives close by. You will find some of the nicest employees who have worked at giant quite a few years who will bend over backwards, for you, stocking the shelves, in the deli in the produce department. It seems as though the front is ever-changing. I’m not sure if that is because they rather have self check out do the work or if that’s what Giant is pushing now.”
“I hate to leave negative reviews, so I won't as this situation actually turned positive anyway.It may seem trivial, but I quite often buy a bottle of wine at this store, and perhaps a couple (perhaps 6) general merchandise items.Today however, the clerk working in the beverage area (where you MUST) check out informed me that as per her direct supervisor that 6 items is too much. Considering that there were no other customers in the area I was a little disappointed. After some inquiry on my part with regards to the "policy" I concluded I would get nowhere so I resigned to the fact that I would not have to go to another set of registers, wait in line at the Single full service register and go thru the check out process.Maybe it's trivial, but I might consider just waiting in line at the state store next time (if I can't have the convenience of ease of checking out, what's the point). Might as well just order the merchandise on Amazon.Well, it was all corrected when I checked at the service desk and asked for the manager. He was not available so a woman there suggested she would inform him of this, and assured me that 5, 6 or 7 items really should not have been a problem.So, I'm happy with the results, and happy that several items (non-alcoholic in nature) can INDEED be processed at the a alcohol register.I will continue to use this convenience.”

“I have been shopping at this location for years and have been content. BJ's is know to carry the same things for a long time so you can rely on them for consistency. This location is usually calm no matter when you go unless it's the holidays. Even then, it's still calm compared to other places. Staff are extremely helpful and always willing to help you find something or check to see if something is in stock in the back. Eric (I think that's his name) at the deli is extremely nice! I don't think I've ever seen him without a smile when visiting this location. He is very patient with every customer and makes sure you are getting exactly what you want and how you want it. They also have a gas station at this location but I can get pretty crowded sometimes. It's still worth the wait. I just wish the location had better produce. The potatoes and the bagged salad always seem to be on the verge of going bad. I think this might be an overall BJ's issue because I've seen the same thing at other locations. Self checkout can be a bit disorganized sometimes depending on who is working that area. The older gentleman at the door also fainted a great trip recently. I had maybe four items in my cart which were very visible. He counted these items several times and on the last count ended up ripping my receipt. He apologized but I thought this was very unnecessary as there was a cart before mine that had over thirty items that he barely glanced over. For those of us in this community who shop here often, we know he takes his job SERIOUSLY so when I saw him briefly scan over the very full cart ahead of me I thought "Wow, new year new him." I was wrong. I collected my newly ripped receipt and left. Besides the receipt incident, I do like this location. The store is organized and usually has my go to staples.”
