I grilled some up with minimum seasoning to test out the flavor, and they were some of the most delightful burgers I have ever had! People buy a lot of subs here too. My family loves them as well.”

“I like this place for its beers. This is the only place in state college which has beer taps that you can operate on your own. So the concept is that you can buy a card and top it up with some money and you can based on how much beer you take from the tap. It's definitely cheaper than other bars and they have a fairly good collection of beers. You can also buy some food or cheese and crackers from their grocery section to have it with the beer. There are some decks of cards at the tables as well.”

“This is a great little neighborhood international grocery that is truly international: they seemingly have something from every major food culture here. It is one of the few places you can find several varieties of dates, and they are in tune with religious holidays and will often have foods especially for those. It is a pretty small space so it can be tough to find what you are looking for, but the workers are all very nice and willing to help!”

“This rating is SPECIFICALLY for their Chinese food. I love their Chinese food, it's really salty but I love that. Not even as salty as other Chinese food anyway. I used to get chicken and broccoli, pork fried rice, and an egg roll a lot after would go to therapy when I was a good. The man started recognizing my parents and I and knowing my order. I have seen the same man and woman working there for awhile and they're both very nice, give HUGE portions, and have given me free stuff. It's also priced pretty good and you can get it from the fridges after for cheaper. There's also a nice seating area.”

“Dollar General3283 W College Ave.State College, PAThis is a very nice store, clean and organized. You don't have to move stocking carts and climb over boxes to navigate the isles. They have nice a product selection and the prices reflect the current economy. The manager is friendly and helpful. This is a brand-new store, so it took a little time to work out the kinks, but it seems to be in order now. The Wifi is working and register problems are straightening out too. I hope this store stays in our area because we need something closer than always running to Walmart.”
