During a pet emergency with our 5 month old puppy this place took us right in and took care of my girl asap!! I cannot express how wonderful they were or how much taking care of our girl right away meant to us.

They are very expensive but when we love our extended family we pay. Hopefully our vet will be available in a time of need.

Local emergency animal hospital with knowledgeable staff. More expensive than your primary veterinarian, however emergency rooms are no matter if they are for humans or animals. We pay for availability 24/7 and convenience of doctors, nurses, testing equipment, etc.

They put down my poor, sick cat Simba. It needed to be done. It appeared to be painless, and they were very respectful.

I took my cat, Harvey, here because he was intense pain. Dr. Nord took care of him and he is doing so much better now. Also, I got the chance to witness their emergency services as a dog going into cardiac arrest was brought in and they handled the situation quickly and brought care to the dog immediately. The staff was nice and the place was very clean. I appreciate the service Dr. Nord did on my cat.

Outstanding orthopedic services. However, their internal medicine support is less than desired. Our cat was brought in with internal bleeding and they could not diagnosis and treat.

The staff seemed very friendly, but they will only see cats and dogs. There is no one in this area to treat exotics in an emergency. Very disappointing!!!

We’ve had the unfortunate occasion to use their services twice for euthanasia of elderly pets. The staff is sensitive and professional. I highly recommend them.

All of my experiences with these highly caring and professional staff members has been incredible. It is reassuring to know that any and all of my questions/concerns are addressed day or night in a caring considerate way.

Ignore that 1 star review...some people are ridiculous. This staff is highly professional. My cat has been hospitalized there for 5 days now and is being cared for better than I have ever been as a human. I will always be grateful to these vets and support staff. The vets call me twice a day and are thorough and answer all questions. They are excellent diagnosticians and treatment agents. Wendy Saxon PhD

My dog ate a tube of raw biscuit dough on a Sunday evening when my normal vet is closed. Called to get advice, the lady who assisted me on the phone was very concerned and friendly. Was advised to bring my dog in. I brought him right away. Glad I did because with the amount he ate and his size it could've caused an obstruction! They were able to get him to throw it up before it became more of an issue and the bill ended up being less than I anticipated. Everyone was very friendly from beginning to end; they took us right away upon arrival and we were in and out in 45 minutes. The ladies at the desk were very concerned and friendly. The techs updated me frequently. The vet was very kind, personable, and explained everything thoroughly. Would definitely recommend; hopefully I won't have to go again anytime soon, but I am glad they are close by for any crazy unexpected issues!!!!

I recently took my pregnant dog to northeast veterinary referral &emergency hospital in plains at 3amas she had been in labor for over an hour and was incapable of having the first pup. She appeared to be in great distress.
Upon arrival we were expected to pay before her visit began. After an alleged brief examination i was told that my dog required numerous tests and told that i would need to apply for a customercare credit card. When i was denied credit the vet came in and told me my only option if i really cared about my dog was euthenasia or surrender her to someone better financially capable of caring for her!
I have consider her like a child to me since i rescued her from an abusive life 3years prior!
How could anyone say that?

Absolutely horrifying experience with this place. The vets that work here don't care about anything, but your money. It's very strange to have the actual doctor quote you all the prices. My pet has been there less than 24 hours. I have already spent close to $2,000 and have no answers! They keep wanting to do test after test, but I still always end up with nothing. The staff has no compassion and they don't even call you to update you on your pets condition like it states on their website. After spending all that money it's the least they can do. Dr. Robinson is a careless, heartless individual. She basically just admitted to me that she strung us along and my pet was not going to get better, but yet she still wanted to do more tests. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNETHICAL. My pet is going to be put to sleep very shortly and I'm out of my mind. I just don't understand how they didn't do anything to help him besides give him tons of pain meds and let him get worse. How can you work at a vet's office or be a vet and not care about animals??? I'll never get over this.
