“I decided to buy a new bike this year. I chose Around Town Bicycles as I had heard a lot of great things. I did my research online and then met with Rich. He didn’t have the exact model and color I wanted, but he offered to locate one. It came in just a few days. I received a call that it was ready for pickup. The day I picked it up, I was astonished by the level of dedicated service I received from Rich. Knowing that I hadn’t been on a bike in quite a while he took the time to go over the bike with me. He took me outside to ride the bike around and he explained the finer points of shifting gears. Afterwards, he made some adjustments. I really appreciated the individualized care and service. Rich is extremely knowledgeable in the bikes and accessories he carries. He never tried to “sell me” on anything. He gave me his opinion and let me choose for myself. Also helpful at his shop are the other cyclists who come and go. Every one of them were friendly. I never felt like I didn’t belong there, or that the shop was only for “serious” cyclists.
