Phil tried to rip off my sister. Told him to rebuild a transmission and he put an old junk one in. Now he's saying it's spark plugs lol. What a joke, WORST MECHANIC IN NEPA. Best to go to Amco or something, save your money and a headache guys.

absolutely disgusted. original quote was $3,000 with a 3 year warranty for a rebuilt transmission. Every time I went to make a payment Philip added more to the final price and it ended up being a total of $4,000 with a 6 MONTH warranty. Seems very polite at first but ends up being extremely rude and makes very slick comments. If you plan on spending an arm and a leg and paying more than the original quote, this IS the place for you.

Had seal replaced in transmission. Knowledge shop. I normally do my own mechanic work, but if Phil was in Mississippi, I'd hang my tools up and let him do all my work!!

I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado I work right next to this place so when my truck lost its gear the company I worked for recommended them so I called up his name is Phil he came he got my vehicle started telling me pricing and like the previous story it started off at $2,400 to 3500 and then it ended up being 5,400 for a rebuilt transmission I had the truck a week it was doing the same exact thing he started giving me the runaround and told me that it had misfires now nobody mentioned misfires when it went in there for the training work so I said okay go ahead do the plugs in the wires cuz I figured at that point if that's the problem it's fixed if it's not then he has to honor this 36-month warranty so it's still had a chatter and rumble strips and jerking between gears after that so when I call them again he told me I was harassing him and then he told me that I have to take it to another shop to get a printout that there's no misfires and I told him you just did all the plugs and wires how could there be misfires so I took it to McCarthy tire and there were no misfires It's the transmission they said I also took it to cottman transmission and got an estimate The transmission needs to be rebuilt The torque converter is bad and whatever else is wrong in there I'm going to take it to three other places and I'm taking this guy to court Don't go there they are no good they'll take your money and they will slam the door in your face and I never had this happen to me in my life and I'm 57 years old this place is a disgrace despicable bad bad bad bad bad guys

I took my ford 302 to these guys for a reseal, valve seats, and a paint job. They originally quoted me $1200, when I dropped off the first $1000 payment then they more then doubled the price on me to $2,500. Then when I went to pick it up they charged me $3,500. I could've got a really nice crate engine for less then they charged me. When I picked it up I received the engine in a box with a towel in the bottom of it. Once I got home I realized why, it dumped all the oil straight out of the oil pan gasket into the bed of the truck. (Picture) In 2 months all the paint on the engine could be peeled off with your fingernail. (Picture) So I had to fix the oil pan gasket myself and repaint the engine again since they only did one coat of paint on it. When I pulled off the oil pan I found old gasket material in the pan. (Picture) Not to mention the owner got in my face when I told him $3,500 was ridiculous since that was 3x the price they quoted me. If you like fixing other peoples shotty job and getting overcharged for it this is the shop for you!!

Okay guys after a long winter, two dogs, one child and countless food deliveries from the restaurant we own my Jeep was in need of some serious love. The places I had called were either not returning the message or I wasn’t sure if it was worth the money they would charge. I decided to give a new small business a chance and god am I glad I did. The inside went from plain scary to the day I bought it. They got every nook, cranny, corner, crumb you could imagine including taking out my seats to make sure it was done thoroughly. They also went above and beyond and did a full diagnostic and checked every inch of the car to make sure my ride was safe and got the TLC she needed.
And they do it all from transmissions to engines, oil changes, inspections, detail and everything in between for most of the time cheaper than these other places! I can’t recommend these guys enough, I’ll be taking my car for all maintenance and repairs from here on it because not only are they thorough, but trustworthy as well. Give them a chance, you’ll be glad you did!
