“Came in because first car had mystery issues, John ran tests and found out the source of the problem. Gave me sound advice so got a replacement vehicle, dealership messed up and sold me a vehicle under the guise that it was operational without covering/solving issues with the master cylinder. John and everybody at the shop were extremely helpful and transparent and helped me wage a case against the dealership with the information and pictures they provided of the issues. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. I’ve never had a better experience with an auto shop.”
“Was traveling from Florida to New York and breaks sounded bad, pulled over and the car clunked and wouldn’t drive. Had car towed to Mavis and they diagnosed the issue quickly. The break caliper bolt fell out. Jade replaced the bolt and retapped the bracket and had us back on the road within 30 minutes. Thank you so much. Highly recommend 10/10”

“So I bought a new (to me) car last week. I expected problems with it but when the cold hit, it came sooner than I thought. My power steering return line was rusted out and spit everywhere. It was an emergency and I needed to get to school for a final.
Ryan is a great dude. Very knowledgeable and understanding about life happening on its own terms, not necessarily mine. He told me to bring the car in. He diagnosed the problem while I was at work, and he had it done in time for me to get to school later that day.
Also before I left, he did a full check up on my car and walked me around the car and showed me where my new purchase is going to need some work in the near future.
In short, my experience was as easy as possible. It was all around a hometown mechanic feel. Just some guys doing their job and trying to do the next right thing for the little guy that works everyday. Reasonable prices. Fast service. And every reason I need to come back.”

“The Manager, I cannot remember his name right now, was absolutely amazing. I came in with a flat tire on Saturday and they were so busy and so short staffed that he could not help me out that day. He genuinely felt terrible that he could not help out. He was kind enough to let me leave my car in the parking lot until my husband could get there the next day. Upon arriving the next day, we were approached by him and told that he absolutely could take us in and patch out tire for us, which is what we wanted because our tires are under warranty. From start to finish, it was about1 hour and we were on our way home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We also had a lot of laughs with the staff. It was just an overall great experience.”

They carefully inspected my car for about 50 minutes, explained the issue clearly, and told me it was fixed — no need to replace the tire. They even refused to take payment since it wasn’t actually a tire problem. I truly appreciate their honesty and professionalism! They are reliable, trustworthy, and kind. I’ll definitely come back here for any future car issues.”

“I had an incredible experience with customer service at Mavis today. We discovered a nail in our tire and noticed the low pressure light was on. Upon arriving at Mavis, we were welcomed by a cheerful young lady who informed us that the repair would take no longer than 30 minutes. Once the service was completed and we went to settle the bill, they surprisingly didn’t charge us, which is honestly quite rare and greatly appreciated. We are now back on the road, safe and sound. I have been getting tires from Kost for over 20 years . I Have checked tire rack for pricing and found they were very comparable. I have visited may Kost tire and this visit was the same . “I recently brought my vehicle in for an oil change. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly helpful and professional. He informed me that the oil change would take approximately 45 minutes. However, Mavis’s team completed my vehicle in about half an hour, which was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, he kindly informed me about the discount coupon for oil change. Overall, I found the service to be highly helpful, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend this place for any oil changes or other services they offer, including tires and other automotive needs.

“First time going here. Brought a car that I just bought 3 weeks prior for inspection. The car was brought in the bay withing 20 minutes of arriving and withing 45 minutes of that it was finished. The Gentlemen there will not hassle you over things your car does not need. I tried to see if he would bite on replacing some parts that I knew I just replaced but he didn't bite. He just gave me my stickers and went on to the next vehicle. If only every shop didnt take advantage of you needing stickers to drive your car legally. 10/10. Great service and Trustworthy.”

“I had blown a tire on my car on the road and I needed a replacement to make it home. I called a few places and they all said that they could only get one for the next day. I finally called Smertz and they said it would take them 1 1/2 hrs to get it and that they could get me in in about 3 hours to replace the tire. It was done and the even charged me a fair price for the tire and the balancing. I was able to get home later that day and make my appointment thanks to the people at Smertz.”
“I met bree who works there at the store that I manage and I saved a lot of money needed brakes and rotors inspection. I was having trouble with a tire. They found a nail in it and they patched it did need an oil change took it for a test drive to hear the noise and I was going to a different garage for a long time and spending thousands of dollars I bought my own supplies from Auto Zone and I was able to get warranties on everything brought the parts to them bree I’m giving five stars to, and that garage for not ripping me off, because I am a woman and for being very reasonably priced”
