A helpful suggestion to FedEx customers. If you’re smart you’ll request anytime you make a transaction that requires shipping is for the seller to not use FedEx ask specifically for UPS. UPS at least allows you to track your packages in real time. The Pittston location needs an overhaul from management to drivers that just don’t care if or when you get items you paid for!

If your wondering is Not light work , get ready to load trucks with all different size box and weight from 50-80 lb . If your not familiar with wearhouse work then you wont last not even a week.

Driver knocked and immediately got back in his truck. Zero attempt to wait for anyone to answer or knock a second time. It took literally 23 seconds for me to get out of bed (I work 3rd shift) and answer the door. The driver could clearly see me on the porch and instead of making the delivery he stomped on the gas and sped down my street! FedEx stated that a door hanger was left and a second attempt at delivery would be made the next day or I could drive 40 min. To pick it up. No door hanger was left, they won’t contact the driver to come back and even though the whole thing is on camera I’m apparently lying and there is nothing further they will do. Absolutely the worst customer service and laziest driver I have ever encountered

I ordered a $1200 headlight from a dealer in Florida and got the headlight the first time 2 weeks ago. First picture the tab on the top of the headlight was broken, I didn't pay $1200 for a broken headlight so I talked with the dealer and sent it back to get replaced. Just got the new headlight again and the same tab is broken and on the box it is plastered with "FRAGILE" on all sides of the box just like the first one. Where the tab is, that side of the box is punctured. It's not the dealers fault, they packaged it well. Why does FedEx not treat fragile merchandise carefully? I didn't pay $1200 to keep getting a broken headlight, I need the headlight as I'm supposed to get what I pay for and FedEx denies my claims.

Worked here for a few months and I would tell you to sell all your stock they will be going out of business in weeks. Many of my driver friends are going to go on strike for the horrendous work conditions and treatment we get. I have seen so many people get hurt between the warehouse and the drivers. Please I don’t want you to make the mistake I made this place is horrible

Driver refuses to follow delivery instructions. Lied about delivery attempts and threw our packages outside community gate near the highway. Multiple attempts to contact FedEx failed to provide resolution.

Went to drop off a pre paid return package. Mistake..No signs or directions. Finally had to ask a driver who was pulling in to the lot. Had to carry box around 10 feet, then enter a side door - make a call on a wall phone, wait on hold... Then wait for a very friendly person to accept the package. Never again, will call and make them pick it up.

Awful company, they lie on their website for arrival dates of packages, then when you call them out in it they give excuses that the pack was arriving early anyway so it’s ok. They never call back when they say. Not a big fan, I’d rather using snail mail than fedex in this area

Any time I check a tracking number and it says “at local FedEx facility - Pittston,” I know to expect problems. It will either say “out for delivery” for days, or the driver will completely ignore any sort of delivery instructions. What’s the problem here? Are you not paying your staff enough for them to care? I’m going to start specifically requesting other delivery services be used just to avoid dealing with it.

Wrkd here as a pkg hndlr. Fedex pays no fedtax on profit. Gets millions in subsidies. Yet they work and treat you like a field horse. Manager Mariah loves to do employee orientation. But later she harassed me constantly on not working hard enough. As I was dehydrated and ready to pass out from the insane work load and thirst. You can do way better than fedex in both shipping and as an employer.
