I love, love, LOVE this bookstore! It’s so beautiful with amazing offerings and the cafe attached has some great food/drink options too. I’m always looking for opportunities to support independent bookstores and this one definitely takes the cake! I was working in the area only temporarily but joined the points program anyway because I certainly hope I’ll be back!

The owners are committed to the mission of creating community with their bookstore. The book sellers are exceptional at helping you select a book based on your interests. The organized book readings by authors and the book clubs are delightful and I’ve attended so many of them and I walk a way filled with joy. Adult, YA, and children’s books are available plus the cute cafe. Visit and Enjoy.

Cute place to catch up with a good selection that appeals to modern tastes. Their baristas are incredibly personable and seemed to put some care into their drinks. Some sections have a limited selection, such as philosophy. However, it's worth a visit whether you're alone or with a friend.

Best independent book store in PGH. Between the many books and cafe, has some the best vibes.

As a lifelong reader and bookstore shopper who also owned a bookstore/cafe for a dozen years, this is a classic independent store stocking the kind of selection I enjoy and serving delicious coffee. It’s a clean, fresh space that is compact without being cramped or cluttered. Very happy to see them recommending Audre Lorde’s writing, as I have been doing for over thirty years. The prison book project is a great service - I can scratch my book-buying itch while doing someone else a good turn (Le Guin’s Left Hand of Darkness? Yes!)Oh, and read the negative reviews if you want to see mostly petty people whose response to COVID-19 was to gripe about wearing masks.

This is honestly the best coffee I have had in a while (i got a decaf americano and an oatmilk latte) I honestly didn't expect this because it functions as mostly a bookstore, but that fact simply just adds to the vibes. Also, the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt on top was a party for my taste buds

I love this little bookstore and am impressed with the selection--I usually find anything I come in intending to buy, and always find something new to check out. I am especially jazzed with the new coffee shop addition and wish I could hang out there every day. Definitely support this local book store!
