Recently stopped in to open an account and had an awesome experience. The manager was very knowledgeable, super personable, and not pushy in the slightest bit. The other employees were all incredibly nice as well and seemed very willing to help. Most definitely glad that I decided to open an account at this branch.

I was mistreated as well. That branch manager was just odd. She made me feel so uncomfortable. I opened a new account this weekend. Called customer service to ask how I would get a debit card. Told I would need to go into a branch and they make you one at the bank. I did. The manager and I went to her desk. She clicked around on her computer. I gave her my ID and she made a copy. She turned around and said I’m not giving you a debit card today with a smile. I thought she was joking. I said haha you’re funny. She said I’m not giving you a debit card. I said seriously?!? Asked why and she just said “no”. I said hmm ok, grabbed my card off the desk and walked out feeling like a criminal because I was giving no explanation. I called customer service back to see what happened and they show a debit card was issued. Turns out, one is being mailed. And that’s fine but why couldn’t she have just said that?!?! I definitely don’t recommend this branch.

Went to this location after previously using a WV location for years. My family has used WesBanco for decades, so I was shocked when we were given a hard time for something we felt was pretty cut and dried.The manager who we dealt with was uncomfortable handling financial documents. She stared at my paperwork for five minutes before finding a flimsy excuse to send me away, leaving my family in pretty dire straights.When I called out the issues this branch said they would "look into the matter" and call me back that afternoon to help resolve the problem. They still haven't called, and it's been a week.Thankfully we were able to drive much further to a different branch and received helpful, prompt service that was a thousand times more friendly and adept than what we received at this branch. The difference in service is honestly night and day, and we're dealing with the exact same paperwork. The other branch felt like the WesBanco we know. This branch? If I didn't know better, I'd think it was a Bank of America.Tl;Dr: Avoid this branch by all means. It's worth the drive to go to any other branch if you are able.
