βThis is a 68,400 seating, huge, multi-level, beautiful stadium with spacious, comfortable seats. The atmosphere in, and outside the stadium is awesome, but there's nothing quite like the Pittsburgh Steelers staff, fans, and of course football team. The energy that runs through this stadium is of the highest caliber. I have never visited a place where every aspect of the place is full of awesomeness. The only way to experience this, and all its glory is at a home game.
This should be on everyone's bucket list, regardless if your a Steelers fan or not.β
βOne of my favorite things to do is go to the movie theater! At this one the seats are extremely comfortable and the cost is affordable. I'd go more often if they're were movies to my liking.β
βAs a wedding photographer, I see a lot of wedding venues. Edgewood Country Club really has a stunning location. The golf course views are the perfect backdrop for couples photos and the ballroom has great lighting and high ceilings. Getting ready areas are also very spacious. The staff is friendly and communicates well with vendors.β
βMy husband and I had our wedding at the Art Room in fall 2023. We had a wonderful experience. Both Kirsten and Bre were amazing to work with from before we signed our contract through our big day. Our guests raved about the venue and how unique it was. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our day!β
βHosted a beautiful bridal shower at the Whitehall House. The event coordinator, Kelly, was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely helpful and transparent with the rules and fees. Our day of hostess, Judy, was also wonderful! She had the room set-up exactly how we requested and had our music and PowerPoint playing when we arrived. It was so fun, decorating their beautiful space. Looking forward to hosting more events there in the future. Thanks again Kelly and Judy!β
βLove going here for the brown bag series. Iβve enjoyed every show Iβve attended. A great way to ease your way into a full opera or to try to see if you like it. This place is family friendly and great for all ages. Check it out!!β

1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd, PittsburghβWe come for the Home and Garden show every year and always have a good time. The layout is simple and the concessions are decent. Parking for large events gets filled quickly but there are plenty of other lots nearby. Occasionally traffic gets congested underneath and can cause delays, but the street underneath is an easy drop off/pickup pointβ
10AM - 2PM
801 Carrie Furnace Blvd, PittsburghβThis was an amazing two hour tour experience.. and to have someone like Bill doing the tour.. I am not sure how you convinced him but he is truly an exceptional story teller whose personal story is also fascinating..!
Wear comfy shoes for some uneven terrain.. use the bathroom before the two hour tour begins.. there are places to sit during the tour if needed.. you may want to bring water if it is hot outside.
HIGHLY recommended while in Pittsburgh..!β
βBeautiful place, we attended a wedding. I did not know that Pittsburgh was ever spelled without the h for a brief time until I saw the engraving in the main entrance of the building.β
βBeautiful location to visit. I had an issue with the pillow cases and the mattress cover not being cleaned but once I brought it to a manager's attention it was dealt with immediately. I wish I had gotten her name but she was a middle aged black female, with shoulder length dark hair, working the day shift, kudos to her. The females working the front counter were just as pleasant.β
10AM - 2PM
498 Camp Horne Rd, PittsburghβMy wedding was at The Mayernik and it was a close to perfect as it could possibly be. Our Wedding Coordinator - Debbie - was so patient, helpful and really made sure our day went off without a hitch. I sent her so many emails leading up to the big day and she was always so responsive and accommodating. She's just the absolute best. The venue itself is beautiful, they have wonderful preferred vendors for catering and a list of vendors they often work with in the event you need suggestions. Our wedding and reception were inside with roughly 107 guests. There is plenty of space with a separate bar area and a great space for the ladies of the bridal party to get ready. Cost is incredibly reasonable with lots of optional add-ons (twinkle lights are a must) and flexibility. My guests (and husband and I), loved this space. I'm sad our day is over but so thankful for the beautiful memories from that venue!β
βWhat an amazing experience!!! The gardens and trails are so well laid out with easily accessible amenities like bathrooms and water filling stations. The activities for the kids are a great mixture of fun and education. So much fun finding the tree mailboxes and little hidden houses. We were lucky enough to be there for the big bug exhibit and they are spectacular. Seeing all the native plants and bugs was inspiring and canβt wait to pull some of what we saw into our home garden!β
11AM - 5PM

350 Forbes Ave, PittsburghβAmazing ballet performances and also watched a form of jazz dance. The theater is not too big nor is it too small. The audience members primarily are family and friends which makes the night there that more special. Highly recommend visiting and supporting the performers.β
βDespite the bright panels on the outside, Irma Freeman Center for the Imagination is in many ways a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of place. Even after having been past it on foot several times, I often had fairly little idea what it was. My first impression was that it might be a community center for disabled or destitute youths, and therefore somewhere that serves a valuable cultural function but in which I have no place. I was very incorrect in this assumption, as I found out later. One day, while the doors were open, I walked in. I was treated to a private, minimalistic indie gallery featuring work by local artists. At the time, the exhibit focused principally on abandoned sites in the Pittsburgh area, with photographs giving an eerie portrait of the region's history. It was as though the photographers were archaeologists documenting recent times that have fallen into obscurity and ruin. This is of course not the only exhibit: Irma Freeman's collections, ever changing, deal with a number of different artists and themes. Gift shop at the front door and opening night receptions every First Friday of the month. Strongly recommend!β
βThe Georgetown Centre is an absolutely phenomenal wedding and reception venue! Gabe and Karen were wonderful to work with and made the planning process smooth, seamless, and stress-free from start to finish. They offered multiple planning meetings as needed, which was incredibly helpful.
Additionally, we would like to highlight the size of the venue - Georgetown Centre is accommodating for guest lists big and small! The price point for the wedding/reception packages are reasonable and affordable, especially compared to similar venues.
Needless to say, our day was perfect! The venue staff were incredibly friendly and coordinated well with our other vendors. The venue was extremely clean and the food was delicious! The integrated bridal suite was an added bonus - the suite comes with a private bathroom and seating area. We utilized the bridal suite to eat dinner privately during cocktail hour, which allowed us to mingle with guests during dinner.
Overall, we would highly recommend the Georgetown Centre! We received many compliments from our friends and family about the food, atmosphere, and how beautiful the venue is. Thank you again to the Georgetown Centre team for making our dream a reality!β
11AM - 6PM
4316 Penn Ave, PittsburghβSuper customer service!!! I found the yarn I needed and it arrived super fast! It was packed securely and bundled with a bunch of pretty flowers, what a lovely touch!!! This was my first experience with them but will not be my last!!! Thank you!!!!!β
βWe happened to be walking by around lunchtime and decided to try the fish fry. We both got fried shrimp dinners, with pierogies, coleslaw, and haluski. Everything was great and the folks there are very accommodating (since we'd never been there before and we're confused!). And they take credit cards. The fried fish sandwiches looked good too. And large. The social hall had a lot of tables set up to dine in and a bar to sit at as well.β
10AM - 4PM
4141 Fifth Ave 3rd Floor, PittsburghβWe came to the S&S Memorial Hall and Museum for a wedding reception several weeks back. It was a great time and a lovely building full of history to explore during the reception. I want to shoutout Greg, who was very informative and kind enough to show us some of the Silence of the Lambs film history (my wife's favorite movie.) It was a small gesture that went above and beyond to make our visit there special. Wonderful time.β
Open 24 hours
620 William Penn Pl, PittsburghβClean and modern rooms in a great location! Alejandra at the front desk was very helpful during our stay.
Tip- park at the lot under Mellon Square across the street to avoid valet parking charges!β
βAn absolute amazing experience! The best field trip I have ever chaperoned! Extremely interactive and engaging!!! I would recommend the Sherwood Event Center to anyone!!!β
βEveryone was incredibly kind, helpful, personable, and seemed genuinely happy to be doing what they're doing.Craftsmanship is on point; Sturdy and heavy duty. They make me want to paint so I can work with them more often.β

5311 McAnulty Rd, PittsburghβI was here for a wake, but it would be great for any event. Nice space, food was great amd staff was accommodating.Gave 4 stars because there is no changing table for little ones.β
βCannot recommend A Party Place Rentals enough!!! Everyone I worked with extremely accommodating and helpful. I had to reschedule my return of rented tables to a later day, and everyone was extremely flexible and happy to work with my schedule. Such great staff - could not be more satisfied!! Will be coming back for all of my rental needs!!β
βThis event center was perfect for our social and emotional wellness event. Janae is professional and available when called upon. I highly recommend using them. I will definitely use them again.β

1 Windmere Rd, PittsburghβThe Shannopin Country Club has a beautiful golf course and banquet hall. I did holly ball 2023 Christmas party for the members. This place has great staff and they are very friendly.β
βUnbelievable Chefβs Table fixed price menu. Great wine pairings. We had four delicious items and four wines to go with it. Super creative items β I donβt know how they came up with it. Things like pastrami-style cabbage, carrot tamales, and a deep-fried stick of something that was mostly hummus ingredients? I could have sat there all day eating whatever they gave me.β
