We booked a fishing adventure for my son's 12th birthday. They handled all the arrangements and Sara was so patient answering my millions of questions. On the day-of, Mel and Dan were friendly, helpful and communicative. They brought everything we needed for my son and his 7 friends to enjoy fishing for a few hours. The location in North Park was beautiful and perfect. It was even wheelchair accessible for our friend who had a broken leg. Thank you Venture Outdoors for a memory my son won't soon forget!

Enjoyed a beautiful day. Walked up and reserved a two person kayak. We paddled up to 16th St Bridge on the Allegheny, crossed over to the Pittsburgh side, Around the point, and up the Monongahela to Smithfield bridge, Down the Ohio to the science center around the submarine at the science center, then back to home base. Friendly and helpful staff.

We did a Daddy Daughter Date here and kayaked the lake! My daughter and I loved it and will be back again. Friendly staff, well maintained kayaks and life vests, and a very free and explorative environment. Highly recommend!

The young men that helped us were friendly and professional . They explained all the safety elements and even helped me in and out of the kayak. It was great fun kayaking in the three rivers…I highly recommended this as a fun thing to do.

Great weekend excursion at North Park Venture Outdoors. Best to rent ahead of time because they are very busy. All of the staff were helpful and courteous. You check in, get your pfds, a quick how to and what not to do and then go to boat dock where they get your canoe, kayak, etc. Leave ample time to get there early since there is a line for check in but they do work efficiently to get you out on the lake.

Great way to see sites downtown. I think they should give u an extra 15 min free for as much as they talk at beginning cause you lose that time kayaking.

There's room for enhancement in customer service. When spending my money, encountering a less-than-friendly and cheerful demeanor is not something I'd prefer.

I have two kayaks but we had four people who wanted to paddle. Rather than pack up all my gear and rent two boats, we just rented four at the North Park Kayak Pittsburgh location (very easy to arrange online but remember to fill out the release in advance). When we arrived, we were in the water in ten minutes and had a great time. Knowledgeable and friendly staff at every step.

Such an amazing experience! The staff was amazing and extremely knowledgable about best practices. They were so accommodating to our very large group, giving each of us diligent care (making sure we knew how to hold the paddle/our life vest was on accordingly/being excited for us). I was the last on the water because we got caught up in the good vibes while they patiently waited for us and enhanced our entire mood with their kindness again once we finished. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and I will definitely be back!
