I’m a student at pitt, and I own a clothing business so I’m constantly going to the post office. The one in Oakland is by far the best, each worker is so kind and helpful. I usually go about 2-3 times a week snd I’ve never had one bad experience here.

The ugly relatively older-age women wearing glasses is definitely rude as hell! She has negative attitude to customers and like she hate the work so much in the way hating people come to the USPS. The rest girls are pretty, nice and helpful (respect to the rest hardworking staffs! God Bless Them )

Placed a call on Monday to follow up on some mail that I had placed on hold until the previous Wednesday. The first time I called the phone was busy but when I called back moments later, someone picked up. The man who answered was polite and appropriate and said that he would check to see if they had the mail there. After an acceptable amount of waiting time, he got back on the phone to let me know it was not there, that the mail carrier must have it. (I had requested the mail be delivered by the carrier but had not yet received it and due to being in an apartment building where leaving mail in a pile outside of the mailbox would allow it to be unsecure, thought I'd explore its whereabouts at my local post office).I had received a print out of my mail hold request with the dates of the hold highlighted prior to my trip so anticipated this would be an organized operation. I will continue to pursue possibilities of where the mail may be (the apartment building's business office) or the Bloomfield post office where I asked it to be held if delivering the held mail would be difficult or logistically problematic for the carrier as this office is more accessible to me.I appreciated the acknowledgment of my request to hold the mail (per printed form and highlighted dates of hold) and the mail resumed the day following the end of the hold period. So far, no major complaints and after reading the largely negative reviews, thought I'd provide a not so bad experience.

a year ago lost a package of mine and took no accountability then recently two packages i was supposed to recieve had the wrong address. Lady at the desk tells me they delivered to two houses down from me which makes no snese because it was not addressed to that house either. I tell her it says it was delivered to a parcel locker and she kept telling me it wasnt. Come to find out I recieved a message from one of the people i ordered a package from refunded because it was in fact sitting in a parcel locker and eventually returned to sender. legit worst post office ever

Just wish that they have more than one person working at the front... This particular customer, who was in front of us, was hogging up the line, having a delightful conversation with the only person at the front desk.I also wish that they have an automated machine that allows customers to purchase stamps, ship their packages, etc. Having this machine would help to reduce the line at the front and speedy the process much quicker.

I dropped my package at this usps location a month ago and my tracking information wasn’t updated since then. They haven’t scanned it and when I went there again to ask where is my package they told me that it was sent to distribution center. One month later, my package is not delivered, no update in tracking system, I’ve called their help center where nobody could help me. I suspect it was lost/stolen at this usps office and it was never sent out anywhere further.
