Took a class from Riley in the fall and she was a great instructor. Missed the sign up for the winter class. So I’m trying to sign up for a spring class and the help from marketing is underwhelming to say the least. Super frustrating as the don’t answer the phone and the email response is “ calendar”. I assume this means go to the calendar. So I went to the calendar and it’s not intuitive because nothing happens and it doesn’t say something like “sign up here”. It’s my problem because they’ll sell out.

Loved the pottery wheel class. Only feedback is: the cleanup process would be much more efficient and quick for newcomers/learners if instructions were posted somewhere eg on the wall. We didn’t know how/which parts to cleanup first and ended up having to re-clean and re-line up at the sinks multiple times.

A great community space that is always doing things to help local artists and kids as well as adults. Great space for events too!

Pamela hosted a repast service for my family and I couldn’t be more satisfied with her quick response, open invitation and willingness to work with the family to assure a beautiful home going. I would highly recommend this place not only because of the accommodating staff but also bc of the size of the rooms and many add on services available.

Love this place! It has community spaces and community-building events. Plus the Ceramics Studio is one of my happy places in PGH ??

I recently had the pleasure of taking a beginner's wheel throwing class at The Union Project, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the experience. From the moment I walked into the beautiful space, I felt welcomed and inspired by the community-oriented atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that everyone felt comfortable and confident before beginning the class. The class itself was absolutely fantastic. Our instructor was patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about pottery, and it was clear that she genuinely wanted us to succeed. She took the time to explain each step in detail, allowing us to learn at our own pace and answering any questions we had along the way.The studio itself was spacious and well-equipped, with all of the tools and materials we needed to create beautiful pieces. The atmosphere was calming and peaceful, making it the perfect environment to focus on the art of wheel throwing.Overall, I would highly recommend The Union Project to anyone interested in pottery, whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist. The staff and instructors are amazing, the studio is beautiful and well-equipped, and the sense of community is truly inspiring. Thank you, Union Project, for such an incredible experience!

Poor communication. Took extremely long to respond, (like a year) then was unhelpful when finally responded. Not sure how they're running if this is how they treat the general public. ??

This place is so cool! What a hidden gem. My husband and I took a "Valentine's Day Clay Date" class where we got to drink wine and make two separate clay pieces. The class was accessible to all levels of experience and we were given creative leeway on our projects. The staff were great and very funny. I can't wait to go back and bring friends.
