I noticed all 5 previous reviews were years ago. Everyone at the former Regis Group left except Frank Winn. I have had my taxes done here for the past 5 yrs. I first met all 6 members on April 15th during a happy hour, where they celebrated the end of their season rush, and made a relationship with the whole office staff of 6. In a letter from Frank Winn (now the Winn Accounting Group) mentioned that everyone except himself has left the company in 2022.I submitted my documents to Winn Acct(now) as I have in prior yrs, but this year I received ZERO response. I made 6 ph calls asking for a return call with any update. I got ZERO call backs. I sent 3 emails which also got ZERO replies. I never in prior yrs got ZERO response, and in fact, Mary Jo was prompt and efficient in responding either via email or ph call.As the tax deadline approached, I felt abandoned by this company since they provided no update, or even to tell me they would not be able to do my taxes and to seek an alternate company. I would have just appreciated a response to seek other help. All phone calls went to voicemail, with some vmail mailboxes being full and not accepting my messages.I was willing to pay the 33% price increase from $225 to $300, but they just didn't seem to care about my business. How hard would it be to respond to an email?I'll say my return is quite simple for I have the exact same 3 catergories of income since starting with the Regis Group. I ended up in a hurry on April 17 going to H&R Block for they were able to help me quickly. I sat at the desk of the Block rep for about 45mins and the rep was able to complete, submit, and provide a payment voucher. Some of that time was taken up with my personal info (address, SS#, DOB, etc) which the Winn Group would have already had in their system. I would estimate Winn Group could have completed my return in 30 mins, but once again, they did nothing with my submission, including even acknowledging my submission with a 2 sentence reply.I would recommend any future customer keep this lack of service and communication in mind when they choose their next accounting firm. Next year I will not even waste my time contacting the Winn Group for they didn't waste any time ignoring my submission and work.Shame that everyone left and this is the service the new Winn Group has demonstrated.

My advice to anyone attempting to use the Regis (now Winn accounting group): DON'T. Uncommunicative, uncaring, incompetent. They had our taxes for over two months and did absolutely NOTHING. Deb Scotto never returned phone calls, nor did owner Frank Winn. Despite handing our information over in JULY, she told us the delay was because of corporate taxes with a SEPTEMBER deadline, telling us everything we needed to know about their priorities. We were prepared to use this firm for our taxes every year, individual and business, and an estate as well, so I hope they read about the business they lost. Save yourself some frustration and find an accounting firm who cares about their individual clients.

First time using the Regis Group for my business and personal returns. They did an outstanding job! Very accommodating to get and appointment. The staff was outstanding! Bob reviewed all our tax information in person and got our returns done in a timely manner. Bob is a great person! Keep up the great work! I encourage you to use them for all your tax needs!

I really enjoy this place to do my income taxes. They weren't expensive and got the job done. I would go here before any chain company.

I think for personal taxes these guys might be fine, but I went in there with what I thought was a simple LLC and was referred to go somewhere else. For a busy CEO, spending 20 min on the phone plus 1.5 hours driving, talking then driving back was a waste of time.
