The Parador Inn in Pittsburgh, PA, is a charming and unique place to stay, full of character and history. Three of us spent a delightful weekend there and left thoroughly impressed (May 10 to 12th, 2024).The Inn is housed in a historic mansion that dates back to 1870. Originally built by Charles J. Clarke, a prominent Pittsburgh industrialist, the building exudes the grandeur of a bygone era with its beautiful Victorian architecture and detailed craftsmanship.Ed Menzer, the owner and manager, deserves special mention. His warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Ed's dedication to maintaining the inn’s historic charm while providing modern comforts is evident. His personal touch and attention to detail created a welcoming atmosphere. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, each with its unique theme and character. The common areas were equally impressive, offering cozy spots to relax and enjoy the inn's ambiance (we especially enjoyed meeting and sitting and chatting in the parlor). The gardens and inviting outdoor spaces are great and the B&B is located within an easy walk to good restaurants and the Andy Warhol Museum. We visited Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, which were about an hour drive. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable lodging experience in Pittsburgh. We look forward to returning in the future.Thank you Ed.

LOVED this place! The host accommodated our last-minute request for a Saturday night stay after we had booked an awful nearby AirBnB. Reggae music flows through the speakers while you sit in the lovely garden area or lounge filled with gorgeous antiques. There is an off-street FREE PARKING LOT adjoining the building! Ed the host and Rayzette his black lab will greet you and provide a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed soaking in the claw foot tub in my room. Anniversary weekend with hubby was saved! You can walk to so many great things and it is a fantastic historic neighborhood. Does not disappoint- I would absolutely stay again. ( Note: it's for Sale!)

My husband and I spent the last few days in Pittsburgh for his 40th birthday. I found The Parador Inn of Pittsburgh when searching for a place to stay near the stadium. I can’t say enough positive things about Ed, his beautiful dog (Rayzette), and the Parador Inn as a whole! Ed and Rayzette were so extremely friendly and welcoming; they made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the front doors. It’s clear to see that Ed takes pride in this gorgeous property, loves his adorable neighborhood, and genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. Our room was comfortable, clean, and felt so tropical. The Parador Inn is in a really great location, and close to many different attractions. Ed also prepares and serves a delicious breakfast each morning. (If you’re visiting in December, you’re going to feel as if you just walked into a Christmas Hallmark Movie, which is awesome in my opinion!) We can’t recommend The Parador Inn enough, and we hope to visit again in the future! Thank you for being such an incredible host, Ed; you and Rayzette are wonderful!!! ?

The Parador is a beautiful B&B. There is so much to see in the home if you appreciate restored buildings. Ed is a great host and provides a very comfortable stay with a very good breakfast and port to relax before bedtime. The rooms have everything you need to enjoy your stay. We will definitely go back when our travels take us to Pittsburgh.

We brought our bikes and walking shoes ... and the Parador was a great starting point for our 2-day exploration of Pittsburgh. The Inn is remarkably well maintained, and a fascinating structure and decor. Our host, Ed, provided us all we needed to feel at home and to appreciate both the Inn and Pittsburgh.I can't imagine looking elsewhere when staying in Pittsburgh.

Ed is a considerate and kind host who deserves the best in life. Please stay here instead of any hotel and enjoy personalized attention, an intimate breakfast, and the most kind and thoughtful host. The rooms are antique and clean, the toilet paper the best, and the outdoor space is gorgeous. Enjoy a stay that is Caribbean at core yet American in hospitality. Thank you!

If I could give the Parador Inn 10 stars I would. Ed's hospitality was outstanding and the pictures do not do the BnB justice. A Caribbean feel in downtown Pittsburgh. We will be back to The Parador very soon.

I booked a room for June 17th (the Taylor Swift concert weekend) on 11/2/22. I was super excited to stay here as it was close to the concert venue and the inn seemed very unique at the same time. Unfortunately, on May 18th (over 6 months after I booked) I received an email that my reservation was being canceled due to the business either being closed or sold, they weren’t consistent on that in the email. However, as I’ve yet to see that confirmed anywhere else on their social media I’m very doubtful that’s actually the case. It seems instead they don’t want to honor the price I originally booked at after seeing other hotel going rates and made up a reason to cancel our reservationAt this point it’s impossible for me to book anything else for that weekend so our plans are ruined and we’ll instead have to drive an hour after the concert is overThe location itself may be fine, but I won’t ever be giving any money to the owners after this and I can’t recommend anyone else does either

What a welcoming and relaxing spot in the middle of a big city! We loved Ed and Rayzette, his pup, and especially loved the relaxed vibe of this setting in a beautiful downtown neighborhood. Walkable to downtown fun, yet quiet in the gorgeous courtyard. It was perfect for a family wedding weekend!Food & drinks: Ed made a wonderful breakfast each morning served on China in a lavish dining room. It was fun to meet the other guests!

We never actually got to stay here, we booked a room 7 months in advance for a concert, and as we were checking in, we were informed we didn’t have a reservation anymore with nowhere to go. It appears the exact same thing happened to several people attending a concert a few weeks prior, according to reviews. Don’t waste your time.
