I would not buy a mattress from them again. I have not had a good experience dealing with them since I purchased my mattress. From the very first day of buying it as I was leaving, they said once you leave the store with it, we will NOT take it back! They were very adamant about it as I was paying for it. I didn't think it was going to be a problem because i laid on several mattresses in the store, and the one I picked felt the best for me. They told me it came in other options such as plush and firm. I said the one on the floor is what I like. When I got it home and set up, it was way firmer than what I tried in the store. I read the literature they sent home with me, and it said give yourself time to adjust to your mattress, and if it's too firm, go purchase a pillow top mattress pad. I bought a pillow top mattress to begin with! I shouldn't have to spend more money buying a pillow top pad to put on a pillow mattress. I spent more money there than other places because I wanted a 2-sided mattress, so it would last longer.
I got a survey a week later about my experience. I put in the comments that I feel I was not given the proper mattress. It's too firm, but I went out and bought a pillow top pad. Another 90 dollars on top of my 1500 dollars I've already spent.
They call me at 30 days to ask how I like my mattress. I tell them I don't, and they ask why. They obviously didn't read my survey from 3 weeks prior. I'm told a technician will have to come and take a look at it. Of course, I'm puzzled by that. He arrives a week and a half later. I knew it was going to be a waste of my time, but maybe I'll be surprised. Nope, it went just as I thought it would go. They were looking to see if I had bent the springs bringing it in. No bent springs! The dog and pony show continues about everything that I have done wrong. Stating that the bed is a quarter of an inch lower in the one corner. That's not going to affect how firm the mattress is! It's not what I laid on in the store. I'm told I should have spent more time choosing my mattress. It's a comfort issue on my end. I chose wrong. At the end of this was well luckily you have our comfort policy. You can pick something else at a discounted rate in the first year. I've already spent too much for something that wasn't right to begin with and does not feel the same as what's in the store. Why would I go back and give you more money for something else. I am extremely disappointed with them. And I'll be damned if I will give them more money. To many red flags I overlooked. They're right it is my fault. When the salespeople were adamant about not taking it back, and they said in the literature that if your mattress is too firm, go by a pad to put on top. All signs of a bad experience coming my way!

We have had our somewhat higher end, double-sided (big selling pint as far as we were concerned), pillow top OMF mattress and box spring for approximately 3 years. At first it seemed pretty decent.
However, by the 2 year mark it had a hump in the middle and collapsing down toward the sides; and neither my wife nor I are very big people! We had even regularly taken advantage of the double-sided aspect and turned it over.
Given the company advertisements, I contacted them last year and they sent someone out to inspect it. They felt that at that time it did not quite meet the company criteria for pro-rated refund or replacement. The person who came out to the house did give us advice on a different frame which we immediately followed.
We have given the frame 8 more months and the mattress has decline further. Now the company wanted to take it back to the factory and take it apart rather than send someone out. We have had enough of one, or both, of us ending up on the couch each night. We will just get a different brand.

I just received the good news in the mail this morning...The Court of Pennsylvania awarded me damages in my case against the Original Mattress Factory. I dont think that they thought that Iwould take them to court,,,but i did and I won. Can you believe they had the nerve to even show up in court to defend themselves about how a person should get into bed..yes, how you should get into bed. I was recovering from kidney cancer operation and had to put my knee into the bed and turn over to lay down. They said this is not the way a person should get into bed and puts too much stress on the springs. The other part of their defense was that I had the sheets on the bed too tight...what??? the sheets were too tight?, this was the reason that they were not refunding me my money. Remind you this is the bed system, the one that has the motor that goes up and down, to make it clear to you also,both mattress went bad. Even when you turned in bed you hear squeeking sounds and disturbing popping sounds, I need my sleep and can't have this type of bed. I was looking at the judge during their defense argument about the tight sheets and how to get into bed, and saw a little giggle in his smile....REALLY GETTING INTO BED THE WRONG WAY,,TIGHT SHEETS...?????? Please dont invest your hard earned money into this company, Im on social security and saved for this mattress for a year., $ 3,000.00 . And, I have a bed from Kaufmans that is fifteen years old and the mattress is fantastic, no sounds and as firm as the day I bought it. This mattress out did THE ORIGINALMATTRESS FACTORY. Since Kaufmans is not around anymore, which is sad to say, it was a great store. I'm going to Levins where i should have gone in the first place. THANK YOU TO THE COURT SYSTEM OF PENNSYLVANIA. Remember people just dont COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR BED ...TAKE THEM TO COURT...

Purchased mattress 12/2021. Looks like a dome now. High in the middle and drops off on each side when you sleep, it feels like you're rolling off the bed. Called to have them come out and look at it. They came out today and told me there was nothing wrong with the mattress that it should look like that something about it being pulled tight top so it rolls on the sides. This makes zero sense to me. The mattress is only 18 months old and we've been experiencing the same issue for at least the last six months.He told me that if they brought it back to the factory and they took it apart all they're going to do is put it back together the same way, and it would look exactly the same. It is visually hi in the middle and low to the left and the right. We are going to attempt to put some wood under the left and right side of the mattress to raise up the edges so we don't roll off the bed. If that doesn't work I'm gonna go with a Sealy or Serta. I would never use this company again.

I had a great experience with Original Mattress! From shopping on their website, to phone conversations and ordering, to the delivery, the overall attitude of their business felt relaxed but professional. The staff are willing to give helpful advice, but they didn't pressure me into making any decisions. Specifically, I appreciated working with Bill, who answered my questions and helped process my order via phone, and I also appreciated Ken and Darryl's professional and very timely delivery of the mattress!The mattress itself feels well made and was a decent price for the quality! I'm still getting used to it, but it suits my needs and I am overall happy with it. Would definitely recommend Original Mattress to others!

Very helpful staff. Lots of comfortable mattresses to choose from. A plus is that the mattresses are built on site, not sitting in a warehouse for who knows how long.
