Fantastic guided museum tour of the Clemente museum. Had very little knowledge about Roberto coming into the tour and left with a deep understanding of his life story and significance in baseball. It’s also an incredible collection of baseball memorabilia spanning the last hundred years. Highly recommended for any baseball fan!
Note that this museum is a guided tour only museum and tours are about 1.5 hours, tickets should be purchased online beforehand. Also it was not clear how to actually get into the museum and no one answers their phones. To get in just knock on the red door. There’s a small free parking lot adjacent to the building.

It was our first visit to the museum and I can't believe that it took me this long. The Roberto memorabilia is just unbelievable! The old firehouse is a treasure by itself, housing the museum makes it a one of a kind, must see. We were fortunate enough to meet Duane and see his wine making operation. The aroma downstairs is fantastic, reminding me of my grandpap's wine cellar when I was a kid.

Could not recommend this more! The building is a little passed the Strip District, but it's worth the trek down. Recently went there as it was my first time in Pitt and this was a must visit for me as a big baseball fan. We opted for the guided tour and that was absolutely the right call. Our tour guide Vince was extremely knowledgeable and passionate regarding all things #21. Vince was so good in fact that my wife, not the biggest baseball fan in the world and didn't know much about Roberto Clemente, admitted she teared up a couple times during the tour. Clemente was The Great One, but Vince, you are the man!

This is a small museum, but it does not lack anything. The tour guide was amazing! You could tell she was very passionate about her job. I can't recommend this enough. There is so much history and memorabilia on display that I don't think it matters if you were a fan of Roberto, the Pirates, or just baseball. Such a great tribute to an amazing human being. Already planning .my next visit!

I came into Pittsburgh for the weekend from Florida. Being a Roberto Clemente fan I went to the museum. All I have to say is ...it was of the best day's of my life. I was in total disbelief of the museum and it's artifacts and memorabilia. I truly have no words. If you grew up in Pittsburgh and was a huge Roberto fan as I was you would definitely understand what it meant to me. It was actually emotional to me as a 57 year old man seeing what the museum holds and the memories it brought back. I said thank you to my tour guide and shook his hand and said this was amazing but I truly don't think he understood. Bucket list checked. Truly amazing.

Even if you have no idea who Clemente is, are not a baseball or Pirates fan, you should enjoy this museum tour. The guide delivers a passionate tour of the life and legacy of an interesting historical figure. If you are a fan of any of the above you should definitely enjoy this museum. It was a highlight of our Pittsburgh trip along with a Riverhounds soccer game, river boat tour and dinner at Fogo de Chao.

The Clemente Museum is a must-see if you’re visiting Pittsburgh or a local and looking for something to do. The Museum has an incredible archive, and the tour guide was a great story teller and very knowledgeable! Definitely want to go back and schedule a wine tasting in their wine cellar!
Our tour guide said celebrities like The Rolling Stones and current athletes come to hang out, drink wine and enjoy all of the history about Roberto Clemente.
