My husband and I had our wedding at the Art Room in fall 2023. We had a wonderful experience. Both Kirsten and Bre were amazing to work with from before we signed our contract through our big day. Our guests raved about the venue and how unique it was. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our day!

Our event at The Art Room was truly the BEST day and we loved every minute of it. BreAnn and Kirsten continually worked with us and helped us create personalized touches and truly unforgettable memories. They both went over and above and made the day run smoothly. I will definitely recommend The Art Room to anyone looking for an event space and use the space again for any future events.

When looking for a venue we were lost in a sea of hideous carpet, BYO everything and large spending minimums. We were having a hard time finding exactly what we were looking for until we stumbled upon The Art Room. Its modern industrial look, exposed brick, high ceilings and hardwood floors were everything we could have hoped for and more.When we originally booked the venue it was for a micro-wedding. However, our wedding later transformed into a 120 person guest list. We were worried about the space feeling too small but Kirsten, the director of events and one of the on-site venue coordinators, did a wonderful job of walking us through room setup to make sure our day was able to flow effortlessly.Kirsten took so many meetings with us, answered countless questions and worked diligently to help bring our vision to life. She, along with the other venue staff, had such attention to detail. We couldn’t have been more happy with the way venue set up turned out. We used The Art Room’s in house catering and the food was fantastic. They worked with us to come up with unique menu selection, their signature cocktails and many dietary restrictions. So many guest told they loved dinner and that their food was absolutely delicious.We are so thankful that Kirsten & The Art Room helped us make our special day perfect and unforgettable. We highly recommend The Art Room to any couples who are looking for an excellent wedding in the city!

When I tell you we are the BIGGEST fans of The Art Room. We cannot encourage you more to utilize this space for all your venue needs. We had our wedding here, and it was the most all around incredible experience. The venue speaks for itself and is absolutely stunning. It is so unique and intimate. The staff was the happiest bonus. We initially toured and worked with Kirsten. She has to be the most kind and patient human who fully embraced our quirks. We then worked with Bre, who is top tier. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything needed and then some on our special day. Her passion and energy did not go unnoticed. We did not expect to make new friends out of this experience, but the folks at The Art Room deliver. We shared so many laughs and cries, and we thank you for the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding journey so exceptional!

If I could give the Art Room- and the entire staff more than 5 stars I would. I truly do not even know where to begin! This is an incredible team of such talented, caring & passionate individuals I feel so lucky to have been able to work with them!Kirsten, Bre and the entire Art Room/ PA Market team gave me the bridal shower of my dreams. I wanted things to be different- but most importantly FUN! This included having a DJ, with some specialty cocktails.Bre was our event manager for the shower and I cannot say enough good things about her. It’s apparent that Bre loves her job and what she does. Bre took such good care of my mom, my family and myself all day long. She made us feel just at home at the Art Room and went above and beyond to deliver on the bridal shower of my dreams. I will forever be grateful for Bre, Kirsten and the rest of the staff.My shower was on a Saturday in August after a large wedding the night before. Bre and the team went above and beyond to show up and make the day so easy on my mom and bridal party. Between coordinating valet for our guests, audio visual and catering/ rentals- they took such great care of us. They made the planning process easy- always answering our questions with such patience and kindness- and quickly.I’ll never be able to thank the entire team enough for all of their hard work on my bridal shower- but I’ll start by encouraging everyone and anyone to look into The Art Room for any and all future events. You won’t regret this!

We had our summer 2023 wedding at The Art Room. We worked with Kirsten for the first part of the process, and Bre was our day of event manager. Both individuals are extremely professional, detail oriented, and driven to work with clients and their visions to create an individualized and custom event. In addition to Kirsten and Bre, their entire staff was welcoming and helpful to our outside vendors and guests. The space itself was perfect in regards to architectural design, layout, and size, and guests complemented it all evening. I highly recommend The Art Room for their beautiful space and service!

My husband and I booked The Art Room for our wedding and it was the best decision we made! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and definitely captured the rustic and romantic atmosphere we were looking for. The space was perfect for our 60 guests to enjoy the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. I had the pleasure to work with Bre as our event coordinator and she is a definitely seasoned pro at making sure the nigh moved seamlessly. The art room team helped set up all the decorations, did all the space flipping for ceremony/dinner/dancing, and helped collect and package all the decorations at the end of the night. Bre had also worked with all our vendors in the past, and worked behind the scenes to make sure everything was running according to the plan. The rental was well worth all the extra help we received all night, and the stress free evening where we were able to actually enjoy ourselves. We had our wedding at the Art Room in May 2023. Kirsten was amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. She is organized and personable and really willing to make any wedding dream a reality! We chose to do all of our catering through the PA Market which made the process so easy as it is affiliated with the Art Room. The Art Room is a beautiful venue and hardly needs any additional decoration - just let all the artwork and architecture shine! PA Market catering is delicious with so many great options. The bar packages are very flexible and our guests raved about the food and drinks. Cannot recommend this venue enough for a small-ish wedding. The dance floor is very intimate and made people feel comfortable busting a move which made for an awesome party. Hotels are very close by and guests said that the Strip was very easy to navigate. Great for a wedding with a lot of out of town guests to show them all the great parts of Pittsburgh. We love the Art Room!

LOVED celebrating our son's bar mitzvah at The Art Room last weekend. Kirsten and her team are absolutely fantastic, the venue is stunning and we all had a great time. Highly recommended for any event for which you need a gorgeous place with excellent service.

The team at The Art Room is amazing!! Absolutely loved everyone. They’re professional, kind, and fun to work with. The location was also perfect for us and guests surprisingly didn’t have a hard time with parking!We initially met with Kirsten who got us all set up and passed our event off to Bre about a month before our wedding. I was a little nervous about the transition but it went smoothly - Bre executed all of our plans beautifully! The Art Room / Bre was flexible and supportive with drop off and pick up times for our personal items / decor which was so appreciated. We also had a day-of planner, Kelly Lynn Weddings (also amazing!!), and Bre worked with Kelly so seamlessly. The Art Room was a wonderful space to host our wedding & Bre had such a positive impact on it!!

The Art Room hosted my wedding in March of 2023 and it was nothing short of amazing! First and foremost, Bre and Kirsten were the most incredible venue coordinators we could have asked for. They are kind, patient, and experienced. The space is a beautiful blank canvas for your wedding's vision. All of my guests and family loved the intimate setting and raved about the unique features of the space. It truly was the perfect venue for our ~75 guests. We feel so lucky to have met the Art Room staff and would recommend them to anyone!!

tl;dr: The space itself is amazing, Bre, Kristin and staff were so helpful and fun to work with. The space is so visually stunning that we did not need to decorate. Highly recommend.Details: We had our wedding at the Art Room in March 2023, and the venue and experience were amazing. We were aiming for a casual and urban vibe. And the Art Room was perfect for both. We had 56 guests, and the space held that perfectly with a dancefloor, “game room” (part of a room with couches, a Nintendo Switch hooked up to a tv, and some card games), and plenty of room for people to sit and talk near the cake and cookie table.We had the ceremony and reception in the space, with the art work up on the walls, which meant that we did not spend any time or money decorating (other than a few centerpieces that we borrowed), and had a fantastically unique visual. Our guests loved looking at the art and it made for surprisingly good pictures. Additionally, the “Great Gate” was perfect for starting our processional.The Art Room team was fantastic. Both Bre and Kristin helped us plan the flow of the day, and took care of so many details (my husband and I were our own wedding planners). They were responsive to questions, and had helpful suggestions. On the day of, the team did a great job turning the rooms around as we transitioned from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and dancing.Drink packages were fine for our needs. Nothing super special, but beer, wine, and hard liquor at competitive prices to other venues in this price range. The bartenders were great and kept the lines moving.Overall, it was great. This is the most unique wedding venue we’ve seen, and it combines a funky vibe with all the refinement needed to make the event feel special. Thanks to everyone at the Art Room for making this night happen!

I was a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding at the Art Room over the weekend. The venue is gorgeous and the staff was always available and ready to help with anything the bridal party or guests needed. It is a perfect spot for a classy, industrial, city wedding!

Perfect venue for any event. I threw a surprise party and it was such a cool space and everyone was raving about the room, the amazing bartender, the food (Dianoia's) and DJ (loyalty entertainment). I worked with Kirsten in the beginning who was very flexible and easy to work with. Bre took over and was responsive and accommodating even with last minute changes and room set up was perfect when we arrived. You can't go wrong with your party with all those vendors combined!

Andy and I toured 20+ wedding venues in Pittsburgh during the beginning of our wedding planning process. Not being from the city originally, we wanted to see each venue in person since we had little to no preconceived thoughts about each space. We quickly learned that ballrooms were not our style. Carpeting and drapery to me felt heavy, difficult to match aesthetically, and just too traditional for us. I ended up picking a friend’s brain about venues she was familiar with on a professional level with her job and she quickly shared with me the existence of The Art Room. At the time, The Art Room did not have a website yet and I could not find any pictures of the space online. I decided to message the Instagram account and Kirsten replied to me rather quickly by email. Once we first toured the space, we knew that no other venue was going to top this unique strip district spot. Hardwood floors, tin ceilings, original brick walls, garage doors, and unique and creative pieces of artwork scattered throughout the venue was the exact sort of Pittsburgh gritty space we were looking for. Working with Kirsten throughout our entire engagement was absolutely lovely. Kirsten always accommodated any requests we had and truly made us feel like our wedding was important to her. She let us walk through the space various times throughout the year when friends or family were in town and she always encouraged us to visit and let her know if we needed anything. On our wedding day Kirsten and the PA Market team performed an exceptional service. They worked with our caterer Bistro to Go to rearrange the space in the exact way we envisioned it. They also held the bar package and invited us to the PA Market a few months prior to create the most custom cocktails based on spirits Andy and I liked. I have never seen custom cocktails like this at a wedding before that weren’t just renamed typical cocktails. We received so many compliments from our guests! Kirsten went above and beyond for Andy and I, giving us the idea to reserve parking spots outside the venue, offering to take down pieces of art on certain walls in the reception space, and sharing with us the addition of the new Art Room chairs before we decided on our final reception chairs. Kirsten is the wedding venue coordinator of your dreams and I am confident she gives every couple the same attention to detail she gave us. We were so happy with absolutely everything The Art Room did for us on our wedding day and feel extra special every time we visit the strip district knowing we chose this spot of the city for our special day.
