The store is clean and well stocked. Lots of products to choose from! The staff are always super helpful! One time I forgot my $20 in change and they held it for me to come back. I love this store!

When I walked into this Target location today, it smelled like urine and there were multiple homeless people walking around aimlessly. Do better Target!

The staff or policies directing staff are highly disappointing at this small downtown Target. More detail at the end....Because I work downtown and have been tasked with buying cleaning/general supplies I've been at the Pittsburgh downtown Target three times in the last month because it is located a short walk away. In general it's surprising how many items they can get into such a small space so I've been able to pick up sunscreen, a quality tape measure, and a mop and bucket and organic snacks all in one place. However each time I am leaving Target I have to deal with "the workers" who don't actually work. Sometimes there are up to 3 hanging out between the two "people" check outs, often talking with each other and ignoring the public. And then there are half a dozen self check outs. Typically I have a bunch of items and I do not want to self check out. Many people love self check out. But I do not. I'll even wait 5 minutes to have a person to person experience. But at this Target the staff act rude and annoyed when I request to check out with them and try to ignore me so I will give up. This last time, there was one check out person, and no one else around and when I attempted to check out with him, he refused and said RETURNS only. I mentioned several times I would prefer to check out with a person and he refused and repeated again he was for RETURNS or when someone "REALLY NEEDS ASSISTANCE" in a condescending tone. Anyway. I'm done downtown Target, I will not be RETURNing.

The bathrooms are constantly closed in this location. The white female manager Cori told me it was her birthday and she doesn’t have the intention to deal with bathrooms. She paged other workers not to let anyone to the bathrooms . If you are a person of color they do this to you in this store .

This review isn't about the store, however the fact they would sell these nasty chocolate cookies is a slap in my face. These have to be the worst cookies I've ever eaten. I took one bite and threw the entire box away. Stay away from Favorite Day Bakery goods.

I am a pain customer at the Target downtown Pittsburgh at I explain to the lady that I needed to use the bathroom really bad and she told me that the bathrooms are closed for today this is ridiculous I'm never coming here again if this is how you treat your customers

I walked into Pittsburgh downtown Target where I have shopped many times with my daughter, a student at PPU and watched a worker walk out of the bathroom. I had just driven in to town from NYC and stopped to buy my daughter some snacks. I asked to use the bathroom and was told I could not. I begged two associates and the manager explaining that the emergency was impending. They told me to go to subway.Subway had just turned me away. I explained this and they told me directions to a porta potty two blocks away. I don’t know Pittsburgh so this was not clear to me. I asked again and spoke to the manager who refused and said by law she did not have to let me use their restroom. This may be so but as a woman and human being I was disrespected and treated like I was doing something wrong in a place where I have been a customer and spent thousand of dollars. Shame on you for your unkindness!

Employees up front check out and montering self checkout are not one but nice. I'm a friendly person and tried to say hi but they turned their heads down and refused to respond. I've determined that they are snobs and should not be working with the public. Especially the Asian American girl. Very unkind! Very Kurt! I was just returning a belt and now I'LL NEVER GO BACK. SNOBS SUCK!!!!
