Room was spacious and at first glance looks very nice. However, once we started unpacking, we realized how dirty the room was. The desk had cup ring marks from a previous guest stay. We took a paper towel and cleaned it ourselves. There were stains on the walls in the room. The bath tub faucet handle and spout are both loose and comes off the wall once we touched them. The bath tub drain was semi clogged and pooled water. The bathroom smelled of musty feet. The front door doesn't close properly from the outside. I had to pull it using all my body weight to get it to close securely. From the inside, it closes fine using the lock. We only stayed overnight. If we were staying longer, I would've requested a room change. Housekeeping and maintenance needs to do a better job at this hotel.

Great customer service from check in to check out. Suites are efficient with mini kitchen which is suitable for families. Also Great location for Restaurants and Shopping Stores. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning on staying in Pittsburgh.

We stayed at this location for the pirates game and we’re spending the day in the city. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and had a place for everything. Definitely will keep this place in mind for future trips. Thank you for the great stay.

This place was awesome! Very clean. It looks brand new. The front desk was helpful as well. Minimal wait for the shuttle going. On the way to the airport, this hotel was the last stop and pretty full, but it was able to accommodate all the people waiting.

My request for early check-in was approved via the chat, however, upon arrival my room wasn't ready yet. It became available 3 hrs after my approved check-in time, which was also later than regularly posted check-in time. I had to retrieve my own sheets for the pullout sofa, they were out of pillows, so my kids had no pillow to sleep on. The phones in the room didn't work to even call the front desk, so everytime we needed something we had to physically go to the desk and ask for it. They had no toilet paper in the restrooms or towels by the pool, again had to go to front desk myself to request, and then I was handed the items to distribute myself. As if I worked there. A complete disappointment from previous reviews. Likely will never stay again

Decent hotel, pool was pretty poor. We stayed here so we could swim and lounge in the hot tub, but they didn’t mention when booking that the hot tub has been closed for months and the pool was pretty shabby. It definitely did not match the rest of the hotel. The lobby was nice and clean and the rooms were decent as well, basic, but clean and modern. Breakfast was good, it’s a shame about the pool.

There were renovations going on so the pool and hot tub are closed. They also didn’t have free breakfast due to COVID-19. The room itself was clean, but the bed was not very comfortable. It was creaking and the pillows were tiny. I booked a king room, but it didn’t look like a king bed at all. The curtain rods were too short and didn’t allow the curtains to cover the windows at all. There wasn’t much privacy and we could hear the people in the room next to us all night. The staff was nice though and the water pressure in the shower was good.

The staff was friendly but this was a horrible experience. The room was filthy with debris on floor and left over food in fridge. Had to go to desk and ask for basic items for room including trash can when checked in. I went ahead and stayed because I basically just slept there while in town but will not stay at this location again. There are many other better options in the area and I highly suggest researching them before staying here. It's worth the extra few bucks for peace of mind and a cleaner facility. Seriously, a public restroom at a gas station is cleaner than this place.

I booked this room for Valentine's Day for my husband and I. We were checking it out to get a block of rooms for wedding guests in the near future. We are platinum members and used to a very nice place. Online the hotel appears new. It is anything but new. The staff was nice but the stay was awful. We were looking forward to a swim in the indoor pool on a freezing day in Pittsburgh but they decided to close it THAT day. There were 2 large red stains on the carpet in 113 and the phone by the bed did not work when I called for a hair dryer that was not in the room. There were also stains on the couch. This all makes more concerns about the overall cleanliness. The heater in the room was all or nothing. It would run constantly making it extremely hot until you shut it down to cool off. We were told that breakfast was 7-11 and when we went to breakfast at 9:45 there was one spoonful of eggs, a couple cubes of potatoes, 1 yogurt, 2 mini muffins, 2 small milk, 1 hard bagel and dry cereal and oatmeal. When I asked at the desk they said breakfast was over at 10 and they stopped cooking earlier. There were 7 people behind us in line and all 9 of us walked away. Had to go buy breakfast somewhere else. Price we paid for this room was no screaming deal and it was awful overall.

For starters, the front desk staff were completely unprofessional, and I've never seen the janitorial staff just hang out at the front desk. The first room that we had originally been given was disgusting, it didn't even look like it had been cleaned since the last person stayed there. The coffee pot even had water in it that had a film developing on it, the bathroom sink had toothpaste in it, there was sticky stuff on the kitchenette sink and counter. Our second room wasn't much better with mildew on the shower curtain, hair in the sink, a blood stain on the bed....etc etc etc... The pool had a band aid floating in it and the hot tub was all taped off and torn apart as well as the bathrooms looking absolutely disgusting. The fitness room had a terrible smell so working out was out of the question. I don't know how Expedia gave our room a 4.6 review , I wouldn't recommend this place at all, very very dissatisfied.

The front desk staff all were professional and pleasant. Breakfast was better than most of the places. Owner/Manager Jay was very helpful in personally assisting us with bags and making sure we were comfortable during the stay. It was nice to see that he cares about all of his guests and his non smoking rooms. At the time of check out he was very particular in charging another guest smoking fee. It was much appreciated by us as we are non smokers. Already recommended your hotel to a few of our friends.

Dirty pool, and the jacuzzi taped off due to it been "down". The website showed some awesome pictures, I saw none of that stuff at the hotel. My mattress had a HUGE blood stain on it, which I saw AFTER I slept in the bed. Elevator kept getting stuck, and only had a printed out sign by the door, staff didn't verbally explain the situation. Staff not so friendly anyways, and couldn't get breakfast. It was a zoo in the morning and kitchen staff complained about kitchen space, so we had to get breakfast somewhere else. We left the hotel four hours early. Highly upset about the money and time spent for a mini getaway. It wasn't a good time at all.

I’m going to start off with a positive - staff was AMAZING! Customer service was on point! I can appreciate that! I cant just give 1 star. For the service they deserve more for THAT and just that. However the room/rooms were another story. First room dirty sheets (hair and other things found) stains on carpet and bathroom moldy.Front desk apologized and gave me another room. Very similar situation. It’s unfortunate, they can be so much better!

I visit family in Pittsburgh five times a year staying in the Robinson area and always at the same hotel. When I saw a groupon for the Summit suites I decided to try something different. After purchasing the groupon I then read some nasty reviews that some people posted and I was devastated. However I am here to set the record straight. Upon arrival to the hotel I was greeted in a warm and friendly manor by a wonderful gentleman named Quinton. He allowed me to check out my room first to see if I approved. Not only was the room clean and comfortable but I cannot say enough about the staff from the manager to housekeeping that always made sure I had everything I needed every day. The Breakfast was better than any 5 star hotel. Clean, served professionally and had everything from homemade waffles to scrambled eggs and so much more. The swimming pool was also wonderful. My grandchildren swam every day and had so much fun. Everyone there made my 12 night stay so enjoyable that I now have a new place to come back to when I return to Pittsburgh. Thanks again to everyone and I will see you soon.
