I brought my car in for inspection and had to pay 1k to fix a suspension problem. Two days later I started experiencing a grinding noise. When I brought my car back to get it checked out, I was told it was something that just happens with age and was unrelated to the repair work that just happened to precede the part breaking. A $600 coincidence. I love my car and the Subaru brand, but I will be finding a more reputable service center going forward.

Everyone was very kind, and the service was expedient for my oil change and tire rotation. They also addressed a small issue with my hood after they discovered it wasn't closing properly. The scheduling process was easy, and I was addressed promptly upon arrival.

I had a defective battery, and Ken Nutter, the Service Manager, had me bring the car in right away, and he and Roger, the Service Consultant, coordinated the various diagnostic procedures to ensure it was only the battery, and that nothing else was wrong. They put in a new battery, and even washed the car for me. They were very responsive, and the work was thorough and timely.Services: Electrical repair

I was visiting Pittsburgh when the oil warning light came on. I drove to your service department and the problem was fixed. I was very happy with the attention that I received and the quick repair of my oil problem.I was 300 miles away from my service center and was very surprised that it was repaired so easily on a Saturday morning.Thank you very much,

I am a bit disappointed with my recent sales/service experience with South Hills Subaru. I recently purchased my Certified 2019 Subaru Forrester four months ago, and on a couple recent out of town trips noticed the brakes “wobbling” so I reached out to the service department to schedule an appointment. I have put around 3000 miles on the car since purchase and was told that the rotors were warped and needed cut. When inquiring if those would have been part of the certified checklist I was told they “should have been” but it was going to be $280 to perform the service. When inquiring, service told me to talk to sales and sales told me to talk to service and ultimately neither was willing to help with the cost of this issue (the young kid in the service department did give me a $30 coupon towards the service). Being in the sales/service world myself, I’m just disappointed in both departments responses to the situation and the fact that my “new car“ is already costing additional dollars.Service: Brakes

Excellent experience here. A different Subaru service center closer to my house stopped returning my emails. These guys were easy to work with and resolved my issue on the first visit. I'll gladly drive a little farther to use them in the future; they have my business as long as I own a Subaru.

Got a 60,000 mile maintenance check on my vehicle which checks everything: hoses, plugs, axles, brakes...everything. Although, this is not cheap, I wanted to keep my vehicle in top shape. Since I purchased it in 2017, I've not had to do anything to it, other than oil changes and inspections plus replaced the tires. So wanted to be sure everything was in good shape so I'm not caught off guard down the road. It was a good thing too, since I ended up have a front axle problem which was a safety issue. I normally don't like going to the dealers for car service. Everyone was very polite. I really like that a video is taken now and I can actually see the repairs needed. I would highly recommend Subaru of South Hills service dept. The Service Manager and all staff was absolutely the best in caring about their customers. I witnessed the insanity of how many people came in and out, all while watching all staff proactively working to assist, multi-task, and efficiently attend to all customers. The incoming bay would be nearly full capacity one minute then the next all staff would be moving to get the cars heading to where they needed to go. I have zero complaints and would highly recommend Subaru of South Hills to everyone! I live in another state and still willing to make the trip to receive the exceptional service again!
