With the exception of the loud noise from the AC that initially disturbed my sleep, my stay was made exceptional thanks to the outstanding customer service from Chris at the restaurant The Factory and Ben at the front desk.
Ben, in particular, is an absolute powerhouse! Despite working the overnight shift and being the only employee during that shift, he was incredibly welcoming, upbeat, and a true joy to interact with. He went above and beyond to assist me with my printing needs, ensuring everything was seamless. His dedication to top-notch customer service turned my stay into a genuinely pleasant experience. The thoughtful joke he shared was the cherry on top.
Ben is a gem of an employee and undoubtedly deserves a raise or promotion. It’s rare to encounter such professionalism and warmth, especially during the overnight hours. Thanks to the outstanding service he provided, I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town.

Loved my stay here! The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable! The views are beautiful! The food at the restaurant was okay, could have been better, especially for the prices. Other than that, I enjoyed myself and will def come back.

Don't go here it's not worth the money! My husband and I went to this hotel for a night due to it being close to the gateway clipper where we got married. We thought because from the out side it looked nice that it would be nice, I was sadly disappointed. We didn't get in until 11:30pm and there's no room service so I couldn't get anything to eat that late when I was hungry. HORRIBLE water pressure when I took a shower! One of my biggest petpevs. No complimentary breakfast! Which I assumed there would be for the price but i was so disappointed. The room was really nice but it was not worth the price in the least. The view was amazing but not worth it. We were very disappointed and left at 8am. ALSO you have to pay $34 for parking. That should at least be free for the money we paid! The ComfortInn with Slash Lagoon is so much better and it's way less money.
Rooms: Horrible water pressure in the shower.
Food and drinks: No room service

The location provides a great view of the point and stadiums but is also somewhat confusing to get to. When you walk in you are welcomed by a massive window clad open atrium.
Rooms are clean, well maintained have a great view of downtown Pittsburgh.
Rooms: Rooms are clean, updated and have a great view
Nearby activities: Baseball stadium and soccer field are very walkable
Safety: Room access is needed to park
Food and drinks: Restaurant on site is good. With several very nearby options

I generally like Marriott products and the location of the hotel was great. Did not engage with any of the front desk staff members, and did not request housekeeping during my stay, but the housekeeping staff was great about refreshing my complimentary water.
My main complaint is the noise. My room was just noisy. (1) I could hear the dings of the elevator, which I think was exacerbated by the lack of carpeting in some parts of the hallway. (2) As others have noted, the compressor is loud, though one solution is just to turn the whole thing off. (3) I could hear when my neighbor turned on/off the shower. I think that last point was the most jarring. I am used to voice/sounds coming through the shared walls, but hearing the shower/plumbing was off putting. I would definitely recommend earplugs if you are planning to stay here!
Rooms: The carpeting could use a refresh.
Walkability: Very walkable into downtown.
Food and drinks: There are quite a few coffee, lunch/dinner, sports bar, options near by.

I did not stay at the Sheraton during my recent visit to Pittsburgh but attended a conference that was held there. On one occasion I had to ask for directions — to a competing hotel — and Damien assisted me. Not only was he very helpful, but also extremely friendly.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Because of an experience in Boston I haven't stayed at a Sheraton in many years. The person I was traveling with chose the hotel, and I'm glad she did. An especially bright point is the breakfast in the restaurant. Great service, and the biggest hotel breakfast I can remember. The food was well prepared and more than I could eat. This is now my go-to hotel in Pittsburgh.

The best view of Pittsburgh is not in the city but on the south side of the Monongahela River called Station Square. Sheraton Pittsburgh is right here.
Walking distance to all kinds of restaurants, the tram station to downtown and the incline cable car station to Washington Mountain for the best view of the city, especially at night.
We got the large studio suite facing the city. The free breakfast for two for Bonvoy P/T members were nicely done. The Club lounge only opens after 4PM, which offers finger food and different drinks.

Both the room and the service were pretty horrible, I would never stay here again. There are much better Marriott properties in Pittsburgh, I like the Courtyard Pittsburgh Downtown.
Let's start with the room: Raw sewage backed up into the bathtub on the last morning, I smelled it before I saw it! The crustiest, most stained carpet I've ever seen at a Marriott property. Zero soundproofing in the walls / door. Right up against the train tracks, with trains going by frequently throughout the night.
The service: They had one job on check-in day, to have my room ready by 4 pm. And they failed miserably. So I sat at the bar while waiting for my room: The bartender was nothing special, and he completely forgot I ordered fries because he was too busy watching the Steelers game. The fries came out very late, lukewarm, and soft. Breakfast on day two was staffed by a single waitress, so the service was awful.
Easily one of the worst Marriott properties I've ever stayed at. 0/10 do not recommend.

My review is specific to the bar/restaurant for my recent stay. I had no problem on the stay part but on my second day on the bar, the server got my friend a drink in the visible dirty glass (chocolate and lipstick) on it. When we showed that to the server, she just threw the drink and got a new one without saying a word. I asked for the restaurant manager Eric and he came saying that there is nothing he can do as it was a lot of people in the bar. He tried to offer a freebie which I had no interest. When the server came the second time and we suggested that at least acknowledging the problem would have been nice. The manager came back saying that we can’t confront the server and stopped our tab. I would advise others if you are not attending a wedding at this place there are better restaurants and bar around. I was expecting an apology which I never got. Instead I had to go to a nearby bar for the remaining part of the evening. I have never such a carelessness and irresponsible behavior at Marriott brand.
